On Sept. 15 the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse received multiple hate/bias incident reports over discriminatory phrases written in chalk around the university. The Racquet Press spoke with three UWL students, who all are choosing to remain anonymous due to concerns with their on-campus job positions. “This incident felt like an attack on my identity and presence on campus,” said the first anonymous student. The attack they referenced were messages written in chalk throughout parts of the UWL campus. Some of the messages written stated, “UWL college republicans” “UWL backs the blue”

Written by the college paper's "Social Justice Reporter". I doubt she is equally concerned about BLM "kill the pigs" signs. Her next column will no doubt call for the removal of the ULW college republicans from campus.

It looks like the reporter is only capable of reporting on social justice issues. She may go hungry in the future. That pursed-lipped photo makes me want to smack her with a gauntlet and challenge her to a triggering contest. I think I'd win just by putting my hand over my heart and saluting the nearest flag.

I feel all the BLM posters and paintings (including George Floyd drawings with wings and a halo) are an attack on my identity and safety. They also attack my religious and political beliefs and are detrimentally affecting my overall well-being. Do my feelings not matter?

About this “Student Code of Conduct.” Was there ever a discussion by all parties (conservatives, liberals, others) affected when this was drawn up? Or was it only the campus lefties who drafted, signed, and sealed it, making it law for all students, but themselves? BTW, I know from looking at the picture, the author was not likely to have been persecuted and deprived of food, nor will likely ever be.

President Trump has said the health of the American people is his primary concern when considering new FDA guidelines on a vaccine. On Wednesday, the President announced the White House may not approve tougher guidelines on the emergency use authorization of a coronavirus vaccine. According to reports, the FDA was gearing up to announce the stricter standards ahead of the election. As part of the new guidelines, manufacturers seeking authorization would have to follow trial participants for at least two months after a second vaccine shot.

The owners of the Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin will reinstall four statues after controversially removing them earlier this summer in the mistaken belief that they were representations of slave girls. The four statues had stood on plinths at the front of the hotel since 1867, but management removed them in July at the height of the Black Lives Matter movement when symbols all over the world came under renewed scrutiny due to potential links to slavery.

The closer Barrett comes to sitting on the Supreme Court, the more desperate and uglier the anti-Catholic and anti-family attacks will become. There is a verse in the Qur’an which says that the evildoers plot, but God plots best. This is one meaning of “providential” in Christian theology. It is also the meaning or subtext of God “plotting” or “directing,” for example, in the Old Testament story of Moses leading his people, the Israelites, to escape from the tyranny of the Pharaoh into freedom. Similar ideas can be found in other sacred texts. One of the most famous illustrations of God as the supreme and most powerful “plotter” or “schemer” in undoing evil is in the Hindu scripture, the “Bhagavad Gita.”

A new Congressional report claims China could have prevented a vast majority of coronavirus cases before the end of February if officials followed international health guidelines after the first outbreak occurred in Wuhan. The report, released Monday and authored by Republican members of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, found that China initially covered up the spread of SARS-CoV-2 — which causes COVID-19 — and that the World Health Organization (WHO) was complicit because it “parroted” Chinese propaganda.
