The Hallmark Channel is fulfilling its promise to include projects that feature LGBTQ storylines and characters. On August 15, the network will premiere the film "Wedding Every Weekend," which features a same-sex couple tying the knot.(Snip)Christian advocacy group "One Million Moms" formed an online petition asking for its supporters to boycott the channel. "The once conservative network has recently caved to LGBTQ pressure and has done a one-eighty from the wholesome content the channel once aired, and the network is now catering to the Left," the petition reads.

Embracing a militant agenda instead of focusing on selling stuff is what killed JC Penney. Yes, I'm done with buying Hallmark products. Forever.
It's odd how some people are trying to recreate Sodom and Gomorrah, but are expecting a different outcome this time around.

TelevisionLand and Disney are doing their best to go the way of the dinosaur. If they think that catering to two percent of the population that is mentally ill is a smart marketing move, well, it's their money to lose. Sodom and Gomorrah will have a much worse ending this time around because humankind was warned once already.

The entertainment industry has completely forgotten they were meant to entertain us, not lecture us. We pay their salaries and if we don't like what they do, we don't watch, they don't make money and hopefully all will go broke.

There is not a single person that watches Hallmark for this type of programming. That is like coke deciding to quit being coke. A very stupid idea from some idiot.

#6, Coke tried that in the early 90s. Remember how well "New Coke" went over?

Never watched anything on Hallmark anyway. I have to be careful about my blood sugar, you know.

I saw Ads for this new Movie yesterday and I was stunned. I watch Hallmark a lot because it's a happy, feel good show! The Movies are Cookie Cutter, we always know how it will end, but we watch anyway because it's good, clean, happy entertainment. I could see Hallmark was starting to lean a bit liberal, but I just decline to watch the particular show that offended me. Now, with this new Lesbian wedding movie, I think we ladies who love Hallmark Movies should send a message. Make that movie the poorest rated Hallmark movie ever. Turn off your TV! Watch something else! Send your thoughts to Hallmark! Let your voice be heard! I will be watching Heartland on Netflix that night! It's good clean entertainment. Hallmark is not the only game in Town!

August 15 is the feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Is it a coincidence that Hallmark picked this day for the release of this film? Maybe, maybe not. The attack on Christian values continues apace.

I had already cancelled the hallmark channel in protest.
Honestly, it is getting to the point that I only watch reruns, but I still have to avoid commercials with same sex couples kissing, orgasmic dance.... If I still had kids in my home, the tv use would be limited to purchased videos only.

The only reason we haven't cut the cable is because the wife likes the saccharin sweetness of the Hallmark movies. It's always been good clean fun, even with the up tick of intelligent bLACKS setting the poor stupid White folks straight, lately. This latest will probably end cable in this house. I will have to find Tucker and Gutfield somewhere else, Juan forced me to give up the 5 weeks ago.

Good point, #12. That super-obnoxious commercial for the HIV drug that was about two minutes long and featured prissy men hanging all over each other was enough to make me puke. I haven't seen it in a while but I couldn't get to the remote fast enough when it came on.

LOL!! Don't like it; don't watch it. How hard is that? Oh, and write Hallmark a protest note on one of those cheap dollar store cards.

#15 - my DH caught that commercial for the first time last night and went nuts even before the drag queen bit. I told him, "just wait....." He raged for 20 minutes after he saw it.

We watch Hallmark channel for the lack of wokeness and in your face abnormal sexual relationships. Now it seems those who practice such abnormal relationships have taken over the Hallmark channel and turned it into another form of propaganda touting something 98% of their viewers do not want. My hope is Hallmark comes to their senses and returns to what brung 'em to loyal viewers.

"Wedding Every Weekend" will be Hallmark's "Dixie Chicks" moment.
When you forget who your audience and fans are, and do and say things that your audience and fans find repulsive and evil, you quickly lose your audience and fans.
I already wrote Hallmark and informed them that my family is done with them. No boycott, since that indicates a temporary change. No, we are done with them forever. And, just like with the NFL, I doubt we are going to miss them at all!!!

Worked for a division of Hallmark! Wow! Total incompetence! I asked for an inventory of all servers...actual and Virtual. After3 weeksI gave up and found a different consulting gig! They run AS400’s with 20 year old OS Software! But hey...they are really really whole!

I buy all my greeting crads at a Dollar Store. Most cards get looked at for about 10 or 15 seconds and then do into the circular file.

A Twitter user named Sandy expressed the sentiments of a vast number of Christians by stating that August 15th will the end of Hallmark watching because it is not safe for children to be indoctrinated with this. This household stopped purchasing Hallmark products a year or so ago when there were indications of the direction Hallmark was taking that were inappropriate for people of faith. Hate the sin, have compassion for the sinner.
