Why I Want Biden to Lose
More than I Want Trump to Win

As regular readers of my column know, I’m no fan of Donald Trump. And that’s putting it mildly. I don’t like his chronic dishonesty. I don’t like narcissism. I don’t like his nastiness and his silly name-calling. I detest his need to constantly cause chaos, as he did with a recent tweet suggesting we should postpone the 2020 presidential election. There’s nothing about this man’s character that I like. And I hope he wins re-election in a landslide. Actually what I mean is that I hope the Republican candidate beats the Democratic candidate. And I wish the Republican candidate were almost anybody else.

Bernie wishes the Republican nominee was anybody but Trump? Well, here's some words of wisdom for Bernie: "You can't always get what you want. But if you try sometime, you just might find, you get what you need". And Trump was exactly what we needed at this point in history.

Bernie should pay attention to what's going on in Portland and Seattle. I suspect many of those progressive political leaders are there because people didn't get out to vote. Grow up, hold your nose if you have to and vote for Trump. As you readily acknowledge, the alternative is abhorrent!

Thanks Bernie...don't you have a twin brother that is a Senator? I have to assume you are a smart guy...BUT maybe NY Street Smarts is not your thing. President Trump uses the tactics you hate to hammer the leftoids...what have you done in your life to do the same?...I'll tell you, NOTHING. Like other Never Trumper's you don't get it. You thought it was a good thing when GW Bush was a punching Bag for the left because he NEVER fought back...and he was nice and gentile. Well Forget that, I LOVE Trump, I LOVE the way he tweaks the COMMIE LEFT, I LOVE the way he doesn't take crap from ANYONE. IF you can't handle that I suggest you go hide in your closet!

Works for me. The lunatic, foaming at the mouth, hate-America-first, burn-it-down, AOC loving leftists need to be stopped, and I think a LOT of folks see that, and realize that, even if they are not fans of Trump the man, they see that he is doing real good, loves the country and is the right choice.

Disliking PDT because of style, personality, 'dishonesty' (as if everyone else in politics is a shall not tell a lie Washington). And deliberately ignoring the fact that he kept key promises he made BEFORE being elected and presided over an all time high economic boom that benefited Americans at lowest levels, though not exclusively, shows a shallowness of judgement that someone of Bernie's intellect shouldn't have.

In the end, Bernie is as screwed up as his fraudulent pal, George Will. Something seriously wrong with his wiring. He knows the democrats are destroying this Country in every way possible, and is willing to sit on his useless butt and watch it happen. Trump not only uncovered the Deep State, he dug up demons, traitors, and imposters like This guy. So long Bernie, doubt you’ll be around in four.

Many if you may know Goldberg was a 30 yr veteran reporter and producer at CBS news. He wrote “Bias” back in 2004 I think about liberal media bias. That said, it’s encouraging that he understand the extreme danger of the radical communist left, but discouraging that he doesn’t exhibit more support for perhaps the best champion against that same evil. At least there is one less vote for the communist democrats.

Trump plays to win. All other GOPers play not to lose. As such, we lose. I trust Trump to do the right thing when it comes to the political games. And he seems to usually do things I fully agree with on the policy front. Some people don’t grok his winning style. Too bad, vote for the policies and be a winner.

The moral dishonesty of this column is stunning. Bernie will not vote for Trump because of his perceived moral failings, but expects others to dirty themselves to do so because the alternative to Trump is Armageddon. To the extent others act as he says he intends to, the path to Armageddon is greased and all are knowingly complicit in the possible destruction of the U.S. as we know it. Goldberg shows further irresponsibility in not urging even those who cannot vote for Trump because of moral reasons to nonetheless vote for all Republicans against Democratic opponents because all of the latter can be expected to support the Democratic party line in office no matter what they say in their campaigns. The soul of the nation is at state and Bernie has copped out, a sad ending for someone who has in the past written extensively on the delarious effects of left-wing media bias.

I know something about the military and business worlds and when a business or ship are running smoothly new CEO’s and Captains must be competent but can be unobjectionable. When a business or ship is in chronic dire straights a new type of person who is brash, bold, dynamic, confident, creative, unorthodox and open is needed. They frequently rub others the wrong way but those others rarely understand the depths of the problems that need to be solved. I thank God for Donald Trump at this time in our history.

I largely felt the same way when I cast my vote for Donald Trump in 2016. Hillary was just plain criminal and we didn't need to have more than 8 continuous years of that. But then Trump started to perform. Tax cuts that actually spurred economic growth by helping corporations, enticing them to move back here, and relief from the regulatory regime of Barry. It took a couple years, but he got the border going in the right direction, if not under control. (no reports on this but, how many miles of new barrier now? 250 miles? 300 miles?) Employment? Great. Telling off the international free loaders? Great. Calling out China, Korea, Iran? Great. This time, I will gladly, proudly, patriotically vote for Trump. And I don't mind if the guy next to me does that because he doesn't want a senile president, just votes party, or some other reason.

Mr. Goldberg, do you hear yourself? ALL human beings are “defective” - even you! We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. That is why we need a perfect Savior. The Bible is filled with accounts of “defective” men who were used by God to defeat evil and bring about good. One was a king who watched a married woman bathing, desired her, had her brought to him so he could commit adultery with her, and had her husband killed in battle. Yet, God called him a man after his own heart, because God saw beyond his imperfections and knew the man’s heart. There were countless sensationalistic stories about Donald Trump before he was elected. Who knows what is truth and what is lies? Although his life has been an open book, the opinions of others have colored it. But, there are likely no sins that would equal those of King David. Regardless, PDJT is one of the most - probably the most - scrutinized and investigated presidents ever. He is still an open book. They have found nothing other than the fact that, unlike them and their fellow globalists, he wants to do right for America! I am amazed that you consider Clinton and Obama to have better character! What do we know about Obama? It is beyond naive to believe that he suddenly became a Socialist/Communist after his eight years in office. He said from the beginning that his intention was to fundamentally transform our country. It didn’t take long for his associations and actions to make clear exactly what he meant by that. Clinton has done things in office, and out, that would sicken a real man of character, both personally and politically. This is a battle between good and evil. I’m shocked that you believe you, or anyone else is so perfect and better than anyone else, that you can sit idly by on the sidelines, and then blame PDT if evil wins! That’s not how it works for good to prevail.

The only thing evil needs to triumph is for good men to do nothing. FDJT is a good man (admittedly with rough edges) who is fighting against tremendous odds and fanatical enemies to preserve this country's way of life. If he fails, this country will fall into a socialist hell-hole from which it will not escape.

I pity people like Goldberg who cannot see the truth if it were to assault him with a brick like the rioters do. He claims he could support another Republican but there has been NO Republican that has come close to accomplishing what Trump has, nor at a more critical time, or against such insane opposition. He says the dems abhor Trump. That is surely true. They do BECAUSE he is effective and is disassembling their progressive gains and moving the nation toward sanity. Goldberg complains about Trump's dishonesty, narcissism, nastiness, silly name-calling, and chaos. These are the Left's bleats and braying about Trump. Most of us that support him see a man who did as he promised, loves America and wants the best for us, respects everyone until given a reason not to but fights back and survives the chaos inflicted upon him and the Country by the dems and media. They are the ones that spied on him, lodged false charges against his associates, launched a biased and unfounded investigation against him, and impeached him over trivialities. They are unrelentingly hateful toward Trump and at every crisis the Country faces, attempt to push through unrelated and unnecessary perks for themselves and their friends. They are loathsome creatures. It's nice Goldberg isn't voting for the mentally absent Biden or his Socialist puppet masters but too bad he isn't honest enough to support the president.

It is funny to see Bernie Goldberg complaining about someone's narcissism. He knows all about that. Hey Bern, as a hotshot former reporter I'm puzzled why you couldn't cite one example of PRESIDENT Trump's 'CHRONIC dishonesty.' Just one Bern. You know make your case, but of course you can't. You whine about his methods yet you and your colleagues did much, much worse over the course of your careers. So many things to be thankful for in America since WWII, but insufferable egomaniacs vastly overpaid to read scripts on TV is the filthy part of the deal. You wrote a book proclaiming the obvious to the slower members of the TV audience. Be happy with the money from that, but don't go assuming you have any real wisdom to share. You don't. You are a glib, TV huckster of no importance. The other Goldberg, the owner of this site educates and motives far more people on her worst day than you can dream of.

T he New York Times contends that Joe Biden’s vice-presidential pick Kamala Harris is a “pragmatic moderate,” which is either the usual misleading bias or a sign that the Overton Window is about to fall off the edge of the political spectrum. To judge Harris by her own words and deeds is to be confronted by a candidate who is more antagonistic towards the Constitution than perhaps any to appear on a presidential ticket in modern times — and maybe ever. The fact that Harris will say and do anything for power is evident in her very acceptance of Biden’s offer. It’s going to be fascinating to watch Harris explain

It started with a false story on social media about police shooting a black “child.” Within minutes, hundreds of young black men and women filled the streets, targeting businesses along the Magnificent Mile, in River North, and in the Central Business District. This was the scene playing out in Chicago on Sunday, August 9th and continued through the early part of Monday morning. People sat in idling cars as looters calmly brought them merchandise. The thieves cleaned out high-end stores like Gucci, Dior, and Hermes, taking everything, including the mannequins. The Americans who confess other people’s racism absolve themselves inexpensively by a moral mechanism common to humanity: the more I profess to hate evil, the more I showcase my own goodness. (Snip)Today, as in the Middle Ages, the mobs, the fires and desecrations, the ever-present focus on “the Jews!” have nothing to do with any truth or with the details of any particular event or accusation. Anthony Williams single-handedly revived Washington, D.C. through strong leadership, pro-business policies, a dedication to better schools and an understanding that he had to get control of crime. Muriel Bower, the current D.C. mayor, is steadily but surely, reversing every one of those accomplishments. She bows to the teachers’ unions and keeps schools closed. She does little to stop the crime spree that is erupting in the city’s toughest neighborhoods. She seems intent on destroying restaurants and other small businesses that made D.C. great again. Bowser isn’t the only weak mayor who is harming our nation’s great cities. Say what you will about Rudy Giuliani, but his toughness led to New York’s revival.

The looting that cut a wide swath through the city’s high-end shopping district Sunday night might have been triggered by a police shooting in Englewood earlier in the day, as Chicago Police Supt. David Brown pointed out. But that wasn’t the root cause of the looting. Mayor Lightfoot is right. Sunday night’s assault on downtown businesses was a brazen display of criminal behavior, pure and simple. An estimated 100 people were arrested, two people were shot and 13 police officers were injured in what appears to be a coordinated effort to pillage Chicago’s premier shopping district.

The truth, according to the home, is far worse: 21 dead, most transported to hospitals before they succumbed. “It was a cascading effect,” administrator Emil Fuzayov recalled. “One after the other.” New York’s coronavirus death toll in nursing homes, already among the highest in the nation, could actually be a significant undercount.

A series of errors by contractors and consultants on the California bullet train venture caused support cables to fail on a massive bridge, triggering an order to stop work that further delayed a project already years behind schedule, the Los Angeles Times has learned. The bridge is longer than two football fields and is needed to shuttle vehicles over the future bullet train right of way and existing BNSF freight tracks in Madera County. Authorities have yet to finalize a plan to repair the bridge. Late last year, crews installed temporary steel supports to prevent it from collapsing.

But there's also some question about whether she's really qualified. The media has already seeded the ground with quotes from some of the dumbest lawyers in America to state she is a “natural born citizen” under Article II of the U.S. Constitution, and is therefore, eligible to be vice president or president.

Monday on CNN’s “OutFront,” former Gov. John Kasich (R-OH), who is set to speak in support of Joe Biden for president at the Democratic National Convention, said Evangelicals’ support for Trump was not “consistent with the things that they believe in as promoted in the Old and New Testament.” Kasich pointed to Democratic presidential nominee former Vice President Joe Biden’s faith as a determining factor in his support. Kasich said, “I would encourage other Republicans to know that it is okay to take off a partisan hat, take off your partisan hat and vote on the basis of what your conscience tells you about the future

oe Biden has chosen Kamala Harris, the prominent senator from California whose political career has included many barrier-breaking moments, as his running mate, his campaign announced on Tuesday. The decision comes more than a year after Harris, who was also a 2020 Democratic candidate, clashed with Biden over racial issues during the first primary debate. If elected, she would be the nation’s first female, first Black and first Asian American vice president.

North Carolina police have charged a neighbor with the murder of a five-year-old boy who was riding a bike in his own yard when he was shot at point blank range on Sunday evening. Darius Sessoms, 25, was taken into custody by Wilson police around 24 hours after he allegedly approached Cannon Hinnant in front of the young boy's father's house at 5:30pm and shot him in the head. Hinnant's seven-year-old and eight-year-old sisters witnessed the killing, their mother told WRAL. Sessoms lived next door to the family, and the killing is not believed to be random.

A recent landmark poll of 20,000 citizens undertaken by the Knight Foundation and Gallup found that Americans’ hope for and trust in an objective media is all but lost. They see not only an ever-growing partisanship in news reporting but a determination by the mainstream media to push a political agenda instead of honestly disseminating the news. While generic faith in the media has been gradually declining over recent decades, the precipitous drop in trust and questions about what motivates the mainstream media can be traced to June 2015 and Donald Trump’s entry into the presidential sweepstakes.

Kamala Harris, tapped on Tuesday as Joe Biden’s running mate, attended services at both a Black Baptist church and a Hindu temple growing up – an interfaith background that reflects her historic status as the first Black woman and woman of South Asian descent on a major-party presidential ticket. The 55-year-old first-term Democratic senator, whose name means “lotus” in the Sanskrit language, identifies as a Baptist as an adult and brought another faith into her life in 2014 when she married Douglas Emhoff, a Jewish attorney. Their wedding featured the breaking of a glass, a Jewish tradition, and Harris’ stepchildren

Since Kamala Harris was announced as Joe Biden’s pick for Vice President, the negative immediate media coverage of Harris has, as expected, been swift and vicious. She’s already been attacked by right-wing commenters, and called ‘nasty’ by the President. But another big, underlying trend has been far simpler: Harris’ first name has been regularly mispronounced, often intentionally by the likes of seasoned political commentators like Tucker Carlson. But Harris, who pronounces her first name “COMMA-luh” and not “kuh-MA-luh,” shouldn’t have to deal with this. She’s been in the political spotlight for years, including her own presidential run just a few

It’s not just a few Upper West Siders who are fleeing New York: Moving companies say they’re swamped with calls from residents looking to ditch the city — even though the COVID crisis has waned. One likely reason: The virus was but the last straw; New Yorkers are fed up with the shootings and lootings, homelessness on the streets, sub-par online schools, sky-high taxes and the sheer obliviousness of pols like Mayor Bill de Blasio and Gov. Andrew Cuomo. On Sunday, The Post highlighted families who’ve given up on the Upper West Side — now teeming with junkies, the homeless, convicts and others — and are headed for greener pastures outside Gotham.

Joseph R. Biden Jr. has told allies that he has interviewed every finalist in his vice-presidential search, and his advisers are planning an announcement for the middle of the week, people briefed on the selection process said on Monday. In a sign that the choice is now in Mr. Biden’s hands alone, the four-member committee that screened his potential running mates is said to have effectively disbanded — its work is complete, Biden allies said, and there is little left to do except for Mr. Biden to make up his mind. Mr. Biden’s political team has prepared rollout plans for several of the finalists, and he is expected to announce his decision

Major League Baseball teams are looking into introducing camera technology to ballparks that could detect whether or not fans are wearing masks in the stands. The software could also flag attendees who are wearing them improperly, like leaving their nose uncovered or dangling them around their neck. Several teams are in talks with Airspace Systems Inc, a California security firm with technology that can scan security footage for mask 'hot spots.' In trial runs, the Airspace system was able to clock mask use with over 80 percent accuracy.
