The City of Seattle held a racially segregated employee training session aimed at White staffers and instructing them on "undoing your own whiteness" in order to be held accountable by people of color, according to documents obtained by a public records request. The session took place on June 12, as protesters took part in the so-called "Capitol Hill Organized Protest" in the Capitol Hill district. One handout distributed in the session reportedly declared how “racism is not our fault but we are responsible." Another said White staffers must give up “the land” and their “guaranteed physical safety” in order to be an “accomplice” for racial justice.

New York City will terminate business contracts with President Donald Trump after last week's insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, Mayor Bill de Blasio announced Wednesday.
The Trump Organization is under city contract to operate the two ice rinks and a carousel in Central Park as well as a golf course in the Bronx.
The Trump Organization profits about $17 million a year from those sites, de Blasio said.
“I’m here to announce that the city of New York is severing all contracts with the Trump Organization,” de Blasio said.
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said on Wednesday that income tax increases in the state were inevitable even if the government did dole out more coronavirus-related aid.
“You probably will see tax increases in any event,” Cuomo said during his press conference.
Cuomo had previously indicated tax hikes on the wealthy were on the table if the government failed to approve more funding for state and local governments.
The three-term Democratic governor said on Wednesday that the consequences would be “devastating” if Congress does not agree to provide aid, involving several thousand layoffs, increased fares and tolls and government borrowing.

The millions of Americans who were paying attention throughout the 2020 election campaign all became painfully aware of the fact that Joe Biden’s cognitive abilities were slipping and slipping fast. His wife, as the person closest to him, should have been the one to call the campaign quits in order to reduce stress on the man.
Instead, apparently so anxious to become the First Lady by any means necessary, Mrs. Biden continued to push her failing husband’s campaign forward as if he were mentally qualified.
