The downtown district of Stillwater is a magnet for visitors during the summer months.
Especially on weekends.
It was Saturday night about 9 p.m. when a mom, Sophia Rashid, brought her 4-year-old daughter to town for a meal and to see the St. Croix River. (snip) She said she believes the group intentionally locked eyes on her, gestured something, said intimidating comments and made her uncomfortable to the point she was afraid. She blurted out as much to the restaurant staff.

The bikers committed no crime of any kind. This is only a story because the seventh century sex slave got afraid. Awww. My heart bleeds for her.

I had to wear a hijab in Monroe County FL recently. A bunch of bikers stared at me until I said, " hey man, I just want to get in this bar". They laughed and gave me some Pagans Brand hand sanitizer.

If somebody 'locked eyes' on her, they may have thought she was rudely staring at them.
Bikers are used to making genteel folks a little bit nervous, but that's not a crime. Right?

Out to dinner ... alone ... at 9pm with her four-year-old daughter? What kind of Muslim mother does that? This sounds like a political/racist set-up to me.

Wow. glad I'm not the only one who reading this story was wondering where the so-called hate crime was committed. Maybe the lady has committed a hate crime by profiling motorcyclists as members of a hate group when she had absolutely no proof.

They let Minneapolis looters and thugs burn the city and beat up folks night after night, they defund the police ... but lodge a complaint that someone scared her with a look? Is there a Bubba Wallace or a Jessie Smollett in the house?

If you are out alone on the town do not look at men and especially not lock eyes if you do not want contact IMO.

1% er biker groups are comprised of violent criminals and in every way despicable. They should be labeled terrorist groups along with Antifa because that's what they are. This incident seems overblown however.

What?
The Aryan Cowboys are not the Dallas Cowboys. You don't have to defend them bc a muslim woman was involved. Is this a hoax thread perpetrated by race bating socialists?
You know, where they try to get a bevy of "conservative" posters to stick up for racists? Let's please use our noggins and not fall for such tactics.

Well, with all the witnesses, at least we didn't have one of those bogus claims of 'he pulled my hijab.'

The mother should be charged with child neglect for taking a 4 year old out to dinner at 9 pm. That little girl should have been in bed an hour ago, not be hauled to a Restaurant to have dinner, then get back home at 10 PM! Who does that! I don't believe her story at all!

I mentioned this in an posting above, there's never any mention of the 'knockout game' or 'polar bear ' hunting, but up set a lib/muzzie/SJW and it's a micro-aggresion front page story.

More muslims hide bombs under hijabs than bikers hide bombs under leather jackets.

She took photos of strangers yet she's the victim of harassment? The woman got her 15 minutes of Facebook fame out of this but I'm not buying her victim of a hate crime hoax.

She's not a muslim. She went to a mixed group establishment unaccompanied by her husband or a family male. If none were available she shouldn't go in, It was also 9PM. She should have been in Maghrib prayer which started at 8:50 PM. She's a play pretend troublemaker.

In most areas of our Country, seeing someone in a hijab would seem weird and may draw some stares. The same could happen with someone with purple spiked hair. It's unusual and people stare at the unusual.
As far as it seems, the bikers did nothing wrong and the hijab wearing "mother" is playing her "fear" without any real justification. Everything she claims in innuendo. They looked at her. They made gestures. They said "intimidating" things. Yet, no one approached her. No one touched her. Just because she is paranoid doesn't mean others are at fault.

Listen, she shouldn't be afraid for her and her daughter's safety just to go out to eat. I believe the guy did try to intimidate her by staring. These Aryan Cowboys are not sweet little teddy-bears.

Looking at the comments here...I just realized that my beloved L.com has been taken over by a lot of bigotry that didn't used to be here. It's really sad because the right used to be the side that believed in equality and not judging people on how they look. If she chooses to follow a religion and custom that suits her, what business is it of ours? None. And how do you know she is not from here? I hate when people say "go back to your country" when they don't know where they came from in the first place. You just assume because of clothing or an accent ...That is so ignorant. Do you tell a kid with green hair "go back to your country"?

Karen alert! Looks like we have some SJW's who are shocked...shocked!...that there are those who react with criticism to more phony baloney from the Religion of Peace. Everyone has a right to their own opinion, of course, but anyone who suggests that snide comments about Muslims have never appeared on this forum before is either a plant or a newbie. They obviously weren't here after 9/11, Charlie Hebdo, the Bataclan Theater attack, San Bernardino... or after most stories about Ilhan Omar, for that matter.
In this case, if the situation were reversed, we can be assured that the person making the complaint would be accused of racism. I tend to agree with #9. This is certainly a case of biker profiling.
