Denver Broncos coach Vic Fangio said Wednesday that his remarks about racism and discrimination in the NFL were "wrong" and he apologized, saying in a statement, "I should have been more clear and I am sorry." Fangio, now in his second season with the Broncos, issued a statement early Wednesday afternoon: "After reflecting on my comments yesterday and listening to the players this morning I realize what I said regarding racism and discrimination in the NFL was wrong. While I have never personally experienced those terrible things first-hand during my 33 years in the NFL, I understand many players, coaches

Is anybody else tired of all of this apologizing? Can we no longer have an opinion?

The apologizing is just an annoyance. Racism, among other passes, when kept alive decade after decade, supplies an excuse to fail and ignores the fact that anyone has the ability to succeed. Humans for centuries have built in the want to be served instead of striving to produce. The physically handicapped we care for but able bodied individuals need learn as a child to provide for themselves. How many black Americans can you recall that have succeeded wildly at life. Poor me has long since been exhausted and need be set aside. Enough. Get off your collective backsides and get busy.

Maybe he should just quit and become a hermit somewhere out in the Mojave desert? Just to prove to everyone that he’s not a racist person.

I hope when someone states racism they give an example. Best I can tell is if something doesn’t go a black persons way it’s discrimination.

Race hustlers have for decades nurtured a racial paranoia in vulnerable groups. This is partially responsible for what we see on TV.

The players are flown to the games in private planes, have access to massages, are paid millions of dollars, work less than 6 months a year, have life long pensions and medical care----and we are supposed to listen to their crying and whining? Sports is entertainment, not a townhall meeting.

If there is racism in the NFL, then it's the black players that are afflicted with it, because there aren't enough white players to cause a problem.

Drop dead. With something like half of the HIGHLY paid player being black....yep, there you have it. Not having 100% black players is hard proof of systemic racism.
/s off
Sick of this BS.

Yes, #1. This was my reaction on reading the article title. And having just heard how Drew Breese has come under vicious attack for saying he would always respect the Flag (won't "take the knee"), and having just seen the story about a large group of people gathered in the rich neighborhood of Bethesda, on their knees, monotonously repeating a SJW leader's recitation of a mass confession.
Then i was thinking about similar events to these, and thinking about other such mass confessions which occur with every dictatorial totalitarian usurpation.
Stalin's show trials provided a purge of Stalin's political enemies on his left flank in the beginning, then further right, until he had a tight cadre of (mostly terrorized) toadies. The opportunities to stop the cruel dictator were quickly lost. Russia has NEVER recovered.
But Mao's Cultural Revolution is probably more apropos, as the intention was to destroy every trace of material culture pre-Revolution, all of it. An essential part of learning to survive was the forced confessions of one's bourgeois existence. The people were forced under threat of horrific death, total conformity to the precepts of the Cultural Revolution:
"Confession or death"
"Long live the Red Terror"
"Death to those who refuse to bow down before the people"
(from "Gang of One: Memoirs of a Red Guard", by Fen Shen)
A sick gang-like, cult-like mentality is taking over. This group guilt and condemnation has got to stop. Right Now. Things may have gone too far already, but now is the time to turn back before there's more and worse suffering. Does anyone here doubt what fate would befall a Drew Breese or Donald Trump or any of us were we to find ourselves surrounded by the raging mobs? And no member of the Democrat Party willing to take a stand against forced confessions and conformity?
If people in leadership think they might escape the wrath of a dictator, they ought to read about the cultural revolution or Bolshevik Russia or the French Revolution. The "revolution devours itself."

There's racism and discrimination in the NFL??? Really? Then how come the majority of the players are black and getting huge salaries? How come many of the black players are being arrested and prosecuted for major crimes? Do they think they should be exempt from any prosecutions now? Is that the racist and discrimination part? That they aren't exempt from the laws that everyone else has to comply with?

70% black NFL, and that means if there is racism, it isn't coming from the minority white players Coach. All those millionaire players whining about 1st world problems. Do they understand how many men would gladly join the league to make that kind of money?

The NFL is 70% black, but the 'correct answer' is that racism is everywhere in the NFL.
