Finally, the DOJ has moved to remove one of the biggest background corrupt officials within the FBI. According to multiple media sources FBI chief legal counsel Dana Boente was forced to resign on Friday. Finally, sunlight has removed a very corrupt player.
In prior positions as U.S. Attorney for Virginia; and while leading the DOJ National Security Division; and then later shifting to the FBI as chief legal counsel under Chris Wray; Dana Boente was at the epicenter of corrupt intent and malign activity toward the Trump administration.
Is any government employee EVER going to be arrested for breaking the laws of this country?!!!!

One corrupt swamp creature down and 254,999 more to go. We can only hope that Christopher Wray is next and will soon be in prison the remainder of his life.

He should have been put on street without retirement benefits and never allowed to practice law. He is a liberal creep. Wray better watch out.

Durham and Barr had better be telling EVERYTHING to Trump. It seems that, of all the unelected bureaucrats in DC, only a few WEREN'T conspiring against Trump. This is treason writ large, and besides the ones who will take the fall and go to jail, what changes to the system will be made to protect against such a coordinated interagency conspiracy against the Constitution. Abe of course, behind it ALL.....Obama.

That's cool. He doesn't retire for another month. The powers in charge have 4 weeks to arrest him/indict him/search his home in the middle of the night/take his passport/etc.

Prison? Boente is more likely to go to a rich contract on MSNBC or CNN than prison, He’ll also have a lucrative book contract and $100,00+ speaking fee to supplement his meager $165,000 per year retirement package guaranteed by the US government.
Besides this enormous compensation package, our country was grossly underserved by Boente, Wray and surely dozens of other FBI officials who have spent 4 years committing sedition against the President and then working feverishly to cover up this conspiracy.

If there is no effective legal remedies on these thugs, at what point does "extra curricular solutions" become the only available path for curing this cancer? When "the legal system" refuses to enforce the laws, refuses to hold the guilty to account, that puts pressure on honest, law abiding people to consider remedies which are outside the norms. THAT is a bad thing, but it becomes more and more attractive as the guilty go unpunished.
Remember Ken McElroy in Skidmore, Missouri? He got a full measure of justice, but not via the normal channels when the normal channels failed again and again and AGAIN to do any justice.
The DC folks should keep that in mind. There are limits to our patience.

Boente resigned and is receiving a massive pension check with accompanying federal benefits. Big deal. He should have been arrested and prosecuted. That's what the real conclusion should be. I've had enough of resignations with no prosecutions. How about you?

It takes time. Durham is doing what should have been done at the beginning. But please remember, both Sessions and Rodenstein were in DOJ for the first two years. Lots was covered up. This entire thing is like an octopus, so many tentacles. I read that there is a grand jury. I believe that the investigation into Flynn is separate from the original investigation. What I do know is that each of these people that were fired or resigned is going to cost them SO MUCH money that they may go bankrupt.....just like Flynn. They will lose everything. Legal fees in DC are out of this world.

Here's another spin to all this coup crime. DOJ and FBI knew whoever was to become Trump's National Security Advisor would necessarily make phone calls to EVERY nation's top security guy. It didn't matter if it were Flynn or Bob Harward. The plan was in place to frame the NSA guy. That's why Comey could brag about committing his crime on TV to a group of adoring Trump-hating fans, acting like Flynn was this target of opportunity when any incoming guy would make the exact same phone call to the exact same Russian security guy. Nope. This was thought out well in advance and this was the insurance policy. It didn't matter who the Michael Flynn happened to be. Mike, Bob, or some other person's life was GOING TO be destroyed for the purposes of removing Trump. Question; how many innocent lives are in the deep state cross hair's right this minute and who are they, knowing that deep state criminals will be guarded, rewarded and promoted for their crimes with a GOP Lindsey Graham and Mitch McConnell included in the politicians aiding the criminals, running cover for them the entire time? Boente and Wray know the answer.

One would think President Trump would be raising holy hell that Boente is walking away. But then, I have asked for months and months WHY is Wray still head of the FBI when it's clear he's still hiding documents! He is part of the problem! Put someone like Ric Grennell in as Director and watch the Documents suddenly be found! Let him go in and clean House! We're tired of watching each and every one, involved in the Coup to take down Trump, walk away smiling! They should all be in Jail for Treason, instead they are raking in millions on their Book Deals!

Why, why, is this man given 30 days to destroy and cover his tracks. He should have been frog marched out of the building, his home visited by a swarm of agents carrying out boxes of evidence and computers. I'm getting sick and tired of treating these scum with kid gloves as they grin in front of the cameras and are basically saying "you can't do anything to me", which is the typical civil 'servant' reply to accusations.

Excuse 2nd post. Why is Antifa the same as the FBI? They both knowingly break our laws because they hate Trump but never get arrested. The only difference with these two anarchist groups is that FBI officials get fat pensions and benefits once they tire of lawbreaking,
Lesson: Tis better to wear suits and ties and have short hair if you don’t care about our laws and country.

Having worked for a defense contractor for over 30 years I can predict what will happen. All perpetrators will retire with full benefits and all employees will be subjected to additional meaningless annual ethics training at taxpayer expense.
It is the "reward of the guilty and punishment of the uninvolved" step in the procedure.

I have a slightly different take. Well ... I can at least dream!
Okay --- Mr. Boente ... this is what we have on you. Lots of stuff, huh? Enough to send you to prison for the rest of your natural life. Your pension will be forfeited and your family rendered poor & humiliated ... unless.
We want chapter and verse on all the dirt and tell us, like Ted Bundy, where you buried the bodies. We want you to go full bore state's evidence and become a confidential, private witness. We'll even let you retire in 30 days to make it look like you're actually still holding on to all your Deep State secrets. This will help play with their heads and throw them off your trail. We'll do what we can to prevent them from seeing the knife is actually coming from you ... but you may have to enter the witness protection program soon.
Deal ... or no deal?

I have mentioned before the low IQ idiot Obama and Hillary Clinton are not smart enough to create this coup attempt although they knew about it. The cabal of crooks were the coup plotters and seditionist that's who Barr has to get.
One thing Barr has to be certain about is the first one to be indicted Barr will have to win with a slam dunk. If Barr loses the first case the rest of the bad actors will be free to walk. I want to see just one indictment then others will tell all to make a deal.
Barr has to win one.

Excuse 3rd post. Roger Stone is supposed to report to federal prison today to begin serving his 4 year sentence. Have feeling that Director Wray and Boente turned the CNN provided video of the 28 FBI SWAT team members, 2 high speed boats and helicopter used to seize Roger at 6:00 am into an FBI training tape, “How to arrest a Trump supporter”. What’s weird is that if the FBI employed the same tactic against the ANTIFA terrorists, the rioting would never have gotten beyond Wednesday night in Minneapolis.

The next domino to fall is probably FBI Director Wray. Wray didn’t fire Boente, AG Barr was forced to by the evidence becoming public on Boente...and Wray.
As a gentle recommendation, Grenell would make a fine F.B.I. Director!

# 5 right on. Wray is dead man walking. They are keeping him there for a reason. Timing is everything and agree with
# 21 this could be the perfect post for Ric Grennell. He's not only Harvard educated but has the right set of skills, conscience and intelligence to handle a leadership position.
Through this horrific three year ordeal, we have uncovered and discovered some very talented and ethical leaders on our side. We know all the names and it's quite impressive. Who have the Dems discovered? Not one person..! This is the reason they are stuck with Biden and a former President that has become tainted with rampant corruption during his admin. It gets worse. There's Hillary, Warren. Pelosi, Schiff, Swallwell and the Squad to name a few. They're a party not only in decline but are decimated by their own greed for power....Absolute power corrupts absolutely. The true power is not our elected officials. It's the Deep State in Washington, the donors, and the slimy media.

The fact that DOJ/FBI officials were implementing these actions against the President and other administration officials, with cooperation and assistance from foreign officials and agents, spells TREASON! That means hanging, or maybe life without parole.
When this whole sad affair is described as the worst political criminal act in our history, they are absolutely correct. It must never be allowed to happen again. That means that the perps MUST be punished to the maximum extent of the law! Otherwise, it will happen again.

While still employed the investigators can interrogate him without worry over his legal counsel being present, etc. Once he's outside DOJ employ he will no doubt be protected by the seditious "Lawfare" group. His resignation could be an indication that he's already spilled his guts and needs to go home and prepare for his indictment.

The timing of this firing and Trump finally announcing that Antifa is now a designated terrorist organization cannot be coincidental. If this person was blocking Trump's wishes and the interests of our nation, this so-called legal counsel needs to go down just like the rest of them.

The utterly corrupt coup plotter was still in the DOJ. His being asked to resign finally may mean that they are about to indict him - - and maybe a few fellow gang members. But meanwhile - - Fey Wray is heartbroken that Boente was ousted.
