John Durham, a decorated career prosecutor, announced Friday he is stepping down at the end of the month as a U.S. attorney in Connecticut but will continue as special prosecutor investigating the origins of the Russia collusion probe that dogged the early Trump presidency. Durham’s announcement, which was widely expected as part of the transition inside the Biden Justice Department, allows him to focus on wrapping up the Russia investigation from Washington DC where the probe has been ongoing since 2019.

"Fat man" Barr put a muzzle on Durham from the beginning and stopped any information from being released.
Barr was the most important and successful 'plant' of the deep state in the Trump administration.

For a government employee, Durham did his job incredibly well. AG Barr and Director Wray made it clear that Durham should drag his pretend investigation past the November presidential election so that Biden wouldn’t be exposed as both corrupt and a coup plotter. Once several months had passed, Durham could enjoy his $165,009 per year retirement package while accepting lucrative positions on corporate boards and/or as a law school dean. The Swamp always wins.
A major “tell” into how fake Durham’s investigation will be is if he dissolves the grand jury that had to be impaneled to hear testimony. We’ll sure to find out that Durham never impaneled a grand jury because one or more of the jurors will announce that witnesses were never called to testify.

What has Durham ever done to be decorated? There is not one person in America that can name anything.

It doesn't matter. Durham served his purpose, delaying real discovery of corruption until Trump was no longer in office.

#6, Durham was instrumental in taking down Whitey Bulger as well as government corruption in Massachusetts. He is also 70 years old or close to it.

Initial reports of his resignation as US Attorney all admittedly left the special counsel issue unclear. The reporters didn’t know. Yet everyone assumed that he would no longer operate as special counsel. We are taught that “assume” is a very bad word.

It is possible to look up persons like John Durham and read their histories… So few really use the resources available on the internet. Ignorance can be fixed with knowledge that is so readily available.

Without the authority of being a US Attorney, he might as well be running this out of his garage.

I wonder how long they will pay this dork to cover up for them.
I don't think there is an American with an IQ over 75 that actually believes we will ever get any real action from Durham.

Just to make sure that nobody picks up the pieces and tries to actually ENFORCE the laws against all those criminals in DoJ, FBI, and CIA.

Re #3 I knew there was something wrong with AG Barr when he squealed every time the President spoke out about something Barr didn't do. Really good AGs have other ways to make their opinions known...and if they like their boss you don't hear a word. Barr did not like President Trump.

The swamp is deep and wide. It includes both Pubbies & Dems. There is major corruption in the FBI, CIA, Justice, and the Court system. We may not be able to get our country back. It was a long and beautiful ride. 69 years here, the wife is 67. We worry about the children & grandchildren. They will have to fight like hell to overcome the pride, the power, the financial enrichment, and the political revenge of our politicians. The church leadership and the body of Christ had better get involved as well.

Political "Window dressing" to make it appear there is an ongoing investigation that the dims support when the wise know it was squelched months ago - if it ever existed to begin with.

Gets to draw a paycheck without doing a thing. The whole DOJ should dissolved and then thrown in prison in Guantanamo.

The DC UniParty “swamp” political and interagency bureaucratic corruption did not just get started when Trump was elected, it has been going on in DC from the get-go, and has evolved into a unofficial system there. All Trump did was expose that corruption for anyone who cares enough to see it.

This hole Durham investigation has been a sham from the very beginning. Does anyone actually believe that Comey and his criminal counterparts in the FBI will ever face justice? What do you expect from Durham who's career choice was to become an attorney. We all know that attorney is synonymous with integrity don't we?

John Soloman and Sara Carter have both told us the whole story!
Durham serves no other purpose except for stringing this out long enough that some other "shiny object" or manipulated republican "scandal" comes along to take over the MEDAI and public's interest.
He is no bulldog-- he's a lapdog softening the blow and COVERING UP the seriousness of the attempted coup that started BEFORE Mr. Trump took office--a plan hatched specifically for that purpose.

The Durham investigation is about to explode into the headlines. He has learned that the man who supplied the candy bars for the FBI vending machines was once a follower of QAnon. This is just what we've all been waiting for. /s
