Maya Hawke, the daughter of Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke, says her parents’ generation “f - - ked us.” Enlarge ImageMaya Hawke in Nylon Maya Hawke in NylonLuc Coiffait The 21-year-old admits Thurman warned her about the dangers in Hollywood, (snip)“We’re in our 20s, we’re supposed to be having fun, and doing drugs and partying. But instead … We’re going to SoulCycle and trying to outlive our planet. We have a horrible president, and it’s just really irritating. They really f–ked us.”

Comments:

Honey, your parents screwed you because they did not pass on one single positive value to you and your counterparts. And, it's not their "generation" -- it's their community -- the Hollywood community. They search for meaning where there is none and then pass along platitudes and political correctness and you wonder why you are left feeling empty.

So how about you make a change, Sweetie-pie, beginning with you? Step 1: Stop blaming others for all your problems. And your “first-world problems” are embarrassing. Take a tour of Calcutta or Haiti and after you’ve volunteered there for a year or so, come back and tell us how rough you’ve got it.

OH, JEEZ, whoever you are, EVERY generation since the "Greatest Generation" has said that. BOOMERS even said that about their "Greatest Generation" parents. At least TRY to come up with something ORIGINAL about parent's generations, something that's never been said before!

Hate to tell you but your parents and the Hollywood culture that they promote is one of the major problems in America today. Hollywood promotes sexual promiscurity in their movies and lives. They think taking their clothes off and posing like Playboy bunnies is good for everyone to look at. Even the older actresses and actors are taking pictures of themselves with nothing on but a thong. What is the value of that! They actually keep the drug trade alive and well by taking so many drugs and making movies about it. They create violence and rape as entertainment in the movies they produce and act in. Didn't Uma star in Kill Bill which is one of the most evil and violent movies produced. I don't have enough room to write all I think about the trash in Hollywood. Beam me up.

The scrawled ravings of a Hollywood rich kid aren't news or a place to look to for insight on anything. The news here is how desperate NY media is for every little bit of attention. The media has always been a whore for attention. Usually they make up a story or twist some actual event into a wildly obscene lie. Given the amount of time and attention the media owners have put into covering every bit of 'celebrity' for the past 50 years, what some stupid kid of 2 stupid actors says, becomes a page one exclusive. A perfect example of just how intellectually empty and fundamentally broken our media is today.

Georgia was one of the last states to cave to a statewide lockdown. It was also one of the first to start reopening. Republican Gov. Brian Kemp resisted calls to mandate a statewide closure, leaving it to local governments. When reopening was an option after guidelines were published, Kemp ensured that all Georgians would be allowed to participate in the reopening and prohibited local governments from implementing more restrictive guidelines than he did at the state level. The media freaked out on both ends of the lockdown. They browbeat Kemp until he issued the stay-at-home order.

There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred.
