Bill Gates says hydroxychloroquine has 'severe side effects,'
but little evidence they're common

Original Article

Bill Gates this week added more flame to the fire in the ongoing debate over the usage of hydroxychloroquine to treat COVID-19, claiming that using the drug to treat the coronavirus carries with it the risk of "severe side effects" and arguing that medical officials should instead pursue the numerous "good therapeutic drugs" currently in development. Yet there is at present little evidence that "severe side effects" are common in COVID-19 patients who take hydroxychloroquine, with the majority of reported adverse events being relatively mild and only a small fraction of reported effects so far being dangerous and/or fatal.

Comments:

Good lord, he must be a terrible poker player...could he not tip his hand more strongly as to his true agenda? Also, just curious, exactly how many patients has the Microsoft founder (and tech pirate) treated?

Are they going to censor Gates, remove and/or shutdown his websites and slander him the way they did to the REAL doctors who advocated for hydroxychloroquine? The REAL doctors who went to medical school and who have years of experience and have treated REAL Covid patients with hydroxychloroquine and have had remarkable success? What people like Gates (no ulterior motives here) these platforms and the press have done regarding this Covid-19 treatment protocol is criminal. How many people were scared away from taking the medication and died unnecessarily?

Funny thing, Mr. Gates-of-Hell/Shill-For-Mandatory/Vaccines, HCQ is being used successfully in several others nations who, somehow, aren't getting all of those side effects. Nor have we had them since the drug's use began in 1948.

Gates made his billions by stealing DOS from the original developers. He stole MS Word from Xerox PARC. He stole the mouse and many other parts of the companies core products. He is not a overly bright man outside of computers - he just thinks he is. He believes his PR and thinks he is one of the Gods of the world.

Microsoft has somehow managed to continually and repetitively make their products worse every time. Each new "version" of their idiotic bloatware is worse than the last. Every new release of Windows/Office takes longer to load, works less reliably, and removes or conceals previously-beloved features from their unwilling customers. None of it works very well, and it never did. Microsoft is also, reputedly but reliably, a horrible place to work -- vicious, exploitative, and hated by its own employees. Bill Gates, on the other hand, is hated by virtually every one. I talked an accountant once who knew him and asked what he was like as an individual. That person just shook his head and said, "Awful. Worse than you could imagine." In a world with any justice, Gates would catch COVID-19, continue to refuse hydroxychloroquine, and suffer the consequences. However, Gates has managed to evade justice in this world for so long, we may have content ourselves with the thought that the scales will finally balance in the next.

As part of yet another worthless "virtual medical update call", the Internal Medicine MD of 15 years was asked: "If either my wife or me come down with the ChiCom germ warfare weapon, are you going to treat us with Hydroxychloroquine, Azithromycin and zinc? The answer: "No, there are side-effects. But we have some really smart people here at UT Southwestern working on it." And I replied: "Be sure and invite them to our virtual funeral, and you, of course as well." Hanging up, I found a local M.D. who is teed up to treat us as soon as symptoms are confirmed (whose patients time ill and recovery is dramatically managed sucessfully in week's positive relative opposed to months in the hospital and driving up thousands of dollars in bills) with same if we need it. To hell with Bill Gates, "Felahchee", and Schwartz György (Why has this scum from hell not been charged, tried and hung for treason?) and the democommie party and their Joe/Ho White Lives/Blue Line Don't Matter ticket.

Any drug can have severe side effects, depending on the physical condition of the patient, and how the patient’s body reacts to the drug. With hydroxycloroquine it appears that various medical and scientific studies show that it is an effective therapy during the starting stage of a COVID infection but not after a patient is already seriously ill. Liberal are really astute at using the tool of “conflation” and this may well be another instance of that. One thing, when it comes to specific drugs, President Trump should not comment on their apparent effectiveness as he is not a doctor, but should direct comments to his medical scientists.

Gates tried to purchas CPM, his preferred operating system, but the wife of the CPM writer/owner put off Gates repeatedly, and it seemed that they weren't interested in selling, so Gates went to his second choice and purchased DOS. It is not necessary to introduce falsehoods here.

You have something that was introduced in the early 50s. It's ubiquitous. It's safe. 5.5 million prescriptions were issued in the U.S. alone in 2017 and they were for long term use. Long stays in countries with Malaria. Lifelong health issues such as Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis. And he thinks a 5 day course of the drugs to stop Covid 19 (which we ALL KNOW is as dangerous as The Spanish Flu or worse nudge nudge wink wink) is going to hurt people? A public university violated a professor's constitutional rights by punishing him for refusing to use a transgender student's preferred pronouns, the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Friday. In a unanimous opinion written by Judge Amul Thapar, a Supreme Court short-lister for former President Trump, the court compared the Ohio university's behavior to a "McCarthy era" law against "subversive" government employees. Philosophy professor Nicholas Meriwether, a "devout Christian," sought an accommodation under which he would not have to address the student as a woman in classroom discussions, which often touched on gender identity as a cultural controversy.

Georgia was one of the last states to cave to a statewide lockdown. It was also one of the first to start reopening. Republican Gov. Brian Kemp resisted calls to mandate a statewide closure, leaving it to local governments. When reopening was an option after guidelines were published, Kemp ensured that all Georgians would be allowed to participate in the reopening and prohibited local governments from implementing more restrictive guidelines than he did at the state level. The media freaked out on both ends of the lockdown. They browbeat Kemp until he issued the stay-at-home order.

A vehicle mileage tax could be on the table in talks about how to finance the White House’s expected multi-trillion-dollar infrastructure proposal, according to Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg. Buttigieg, who spoke with CNBC’s Kayla Tausche on Friday, also contended that President Joe Biden’s forthcoming plans to rebuild the nation’s roads, bridges and waterways would lead to a net gain for the U.S. taxpayer and not a net outlay. “When you think about infrastructure, it’s a classic example of the kind of investment that has a return on that investment,” he said.(Snip) “I’m hearing a lot of appetite to make sure
