Los Angeles - The end of Bernie Sanders’ presidential campaign this week was a crushing blow to his youth-led movement and his calls for political revolution. His withdrawal has sparked a particular anguish for the diverse and vast coalition of supporters in California, who handed him a resounding victory of 221 delegates on Super Tuesday — a win that the campaign had hoped would propel him to the nomination. (Snip) “The Biden supporters are saying, ‘Now you better get on board.’ But they are missing why we voted for Bernie. He earned our vote. Joe Biden hasn’t done that. Of course

Bernie ain't quit yet. He's backing off a bit because of his Hillary nemesis the DNC. He has delegates. If the DNC tries to dump Joe for anybody (Cuomo ?) Bernie will take his delegates to the convention. He's not about to get stabbed in the back twice such as "get Bernie out then pick who we want"
Fool me once .... Fool me with a fool (Biden)
That said Trump will stomp whoever they put up. MAGA

Crying over a communist and not sure about a demented sexual predator. What a choice.

Wisdom comes with age. Far too many of today's youth or yutes, if you prefer. Know all about sex, drugs and rock and roll, but knowledge and wisdom is not their strong suit.

Absolutely #1. Hillary and her bought and paid-for puppet, the DNC, screwed Sanders and his supporters 4 years ago. This remains his only chance to hold off Hellary. But Sanders and his millennial socialist idiots are dangerous. The DNC knows this and prays that the millennials grow up, get jobs/children/mortgages and return to the center in the future without destroying America first.

I feel really sorry for these deluded fools, supporting a communist who would make their lives dramatically worse.

I pray there are still Democrats out there who disagree with me (mutually) but love and understand this country (mutually). I see bloody few of them but I suspect that's because of Media idiots. When you're dealing with people who talk with their thumbs you have to wonder what they're thinking with.

I'm certain that Fidel and Che had as many loyal followers until the bashing and killing started. Deluded fools are the same the world over.

Bernie Sanders has to realize by now that it was the high mucky muck liberal Democrat insider establishment, including Joseph Biden, that caused his defeat this time around. They did the same thing to him last time around by favoring Hillary Clinton. If that Democrat insider establishment believes that they can obtain a political advantage by replacing Biden they will do that, even with someone who never expended energy, time and exposure during the Democrat State level caucus and primary process thereby rendering those State caucuses and primaries irrelevant. If that happens and Bernie is again left by the roadside, the Bernie supporters must retaliate against the liberal Democrat establishment candidate by way of withholding their votes in the November election, if not they will be rendering themselves irrelevant as far as the liberal Democrat political establishment is concerned, that believes that the Bernie supporters have nowhere else to go. Bernie calling the corrupt Biden “a decent man” was a joke.

if bernie had any courage, he would have run as an independent. but as I noted yesterday, he is a coward. A bert Lahr cowardly lion from the Wizard of Oz, after dorothy chastised Bert, he wept. and how did Bernie display his wardice? When a loudmouthed black girl grabbed his microphone, at a campaign rally, during the 2016 campaign
The only thing Bernie lacked was a tail to put into his mouth.
Could he still run as an independent? Probably not, because so many states have 'sore loser' laws.
a write in campaign is possible, but unlikely.
go count your money, Bernie. you are toast. and if the dimocrats run a virtual convention, you will be iced out, comnpletely, without your protesters having a venue.

The democrats should have a fun convention, if they actually have one! I suspect it could get noisy...

FTA: "He earned our vote."
Bernie Sanders hasn't earned a single thing in his entire life. He is a professional parasite. His only means of advancement has come from taking things that don't belong to him and encouraging others to do likewise. In the moral inversion rack of the Left, this makes him an admirable figure.
The only thing Sanders has truly earned is my contempt.

They don't think Biden will help them.
They have no confidence in Biden.
They don't think Biden appeals to youth. Biden reaches to the past instead of the future.
They won't help Biden.
They think it will be hard to encourage voters to support Biden.
They won't vote for Biden.
This is a portrait of a candidate without a future because significant parts of his party find him incapable and unworthy.

The Red Geezer's millennial followers remind me of the Childrens' Crusade. They are dangerously naive, but firmly convinced of their own brilliance. They think their youth is both magic armor, and a powerful weapon. They believe that since their cause is just, success is only a matter of reaching their destination. They are oblivious to the fact that they lack the skills to make the journey, let alone conquer their adversaries were they to get there..
