I’m Feeling Better Than

RUSH: Hi, folks. How are you? Great to be back, Rush Limbaugh and the EIB Network. And it seems like forever since I’ve been here. But I’m back now, and it all feels normal.(Snip)Just a little update on me. You might notice my voice is a little strange. It’s not. It’s just from lack of use. I’m actually feeling better than I have in about a month. I’m actually feeling what I would call normal prior to the cancer diagnosis happened. And I’m in a temporary hold right now. I had a dire, dire, dire reaction, side effect reaction to the type of chemo I was on.

Rush Limbaugh, graciously and considerately, does not want his cancer to be the focus of his daily radio programs; however, because he is such a national treasure, his return today to the airwaves cannot be ignored. The dire reactions he experienced from the chemotherapy included his inability to walk for three days—his leg muscles had swollen, he had a blood clot in his left calf, and has had some damage to his right eye. With continuing prayers, welcome back, Rush!

Going through what Rush is having to endure is extremely stressful and traumatic in the best of times. I can't imagine how people that are immuno suppressed like chemo patients are able to cope with the added burden of the pandemic. Stay well, Rush. We need your voice more than ever.

#8, actually, a lot of specific cancers are being relatively routinely cured. I had three coworkers who had dire cases of leukemia in the 80s, and were hale and hearty when I retired in 2014, cured for 25+ years, in good health. And "cancer" is NOT one thing, it is at lease a few hundred entirely different things. Haven't cured them all, for sure. But have figured out some of them.

#10 - Rush Limbaugh has held an annual Cure-A-Thon on behalf of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for 29 years and makes a personal contribution on behalf of himself and his wife that runs into six figures. With his personal financial participation and donations from his audience, at the conclusion of the 26th year of the drive in 2016, the annual event collectively raised more than $47 million dollars for the society. The LLS provides “much-needed research and support for individuals and families affected by blood cancer diseases.” Rush’s compassion and generosity are well known to his listening audience—thank you, Rush! Blessings and prayers are with you.

President Trump on Sunday speculated that New York state hospitals are running short of respirator masks to protect doctors and nurses from the coronavirus because supplies are being stolen. “How do you go from 10 to 20 [thousand masks per week] to 300,000? Ten [thousand] to 20,000 masks, to 300,000,” Trump said at a briefing by the coronavirus task force in the Rose Garden. “Something is going on, and you ought to look into it as reporters. Are they going out the back door?”(Snip)But earlier this month, Cuomo himself said that people were stealing face masks and other medical equipment from area hospitals.

Chinese officials, desperate to recast the country as a global leader that has conquered the coronavirus, have been saying that its death rates are decreasing in the city of Wuhan. The problem, residents say, is that the numbers don't add up.(Snip)Despite China's propaganda pushers being all smiles for the international community, residents told Radio Free Asia that Beijing's claims that there were only 2,500 deaths in Wuhan is far from reality. For more than a week, seven large funeral homes that serve Wuhan have been handing out the cremated remains of about 500 people to their families every day.

Wuhan locals claim coronavirus has killed 42,000 people in the city alone, more than ten times the national figure claimed by Chinese authorities. The killer bug, which originated in Wuhan in China's Hubei Province has claimed the lives of 3,300 people and infected more than 81,000. Of those, 3,182 deaths were reported in Hubei Province. But residents in Wuhan claim 500 urns have been handed out to grieving families every day from seven separate funeral homes all serving the city. This means the ashes of 3,500 people are distributed every 24 hours.
