President Donald Trump should impose a nationwide order that requires Americans to stay in their homes as much as possible, says Democratic Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont, urging Trump to sharply escalate the U.S. response to the new coronavirus outbreak. Lamont announced on Friday an order for his state that requires all nonessential businesses to close and recommends that residents maintain social distancing and limit outdoor activities — a stay-at-home measure similar to those that, as of Monday, have been announced by at least eight other states, including New York and California. But a patchwork of state measures is not enough to

In Stephen King's (yeah I know about him) The Stand, a flu was killing 99.4% of the people and the government pretended nothing was happening. In the Kung Flu, .006% of the people are getting sick and the government goes into apocalypse mode. This can't be sustained, but thanks for your input, Governor RAT.

After the B.S. that Lamont has pulled in CT, I’m surprised there’s anybody left in that state to “shelter in place “. He’s a moron.

Dem governors just love to wield their power, don’t they? It’s not enough for this guy to have a stranglehold on his own people, now he wants it over everyone else in the US. I hope their constituents are watching and waking up.

I am laughing so hard imagining that Ned Lamont actually believes that the President of the United States gives a rat’s what he says about anything.
Nedly, that’s just silly. Now go back to finishing the flush that is sending CT swirling fully and completely down the toilet.

He has a lot to worry about in his itty-bitty state:
How an Upscale Connecticut Party Became a Coronavirus 'Super Spreader’
About 50 guests gathered on March 5 at a home in the stately suburb of Westport, Conn., to toast the hostess on her 40th birthday and greet old friends, including one visiting from South Africa. They shared reminiscences, a lavish buffet and, unknown to anyone, the coronavirus.

ANYTHING that Ned Lamont says should not be taken seriously. The lying !@#$! ran for Gov in CT claiming he was a 'man of the people', and that he would drive himself to work everyday. He even filmed a campaign ad driving himself in a cheap rental. Ned Lamont is a fabulously wealthy liberal who can afford to virtue signal all the live long day who never drove himself ANYWHERE. Talk to your friend Andrew Cuomo about sheltering place-NY now has the most covid19 infections in the country, mostly due to NYC Mayor DeBlasio refusing to close the schools until far too late. Screw Lamont and all the Democrats.

Why doesn't the Gov of Connecticut be the Gov of Connecticut, and not presume to issue mandates on the rest of the country, most places he has never been, or would know the names of.

As I replied to another thread, it's too late governor, that horse is long gone out of the barn. It's too late to lock the barn. Worry about your own failing flailing state.

We have it, here in eastern IS, starting tomorrow midnight. My wife and I, and friends, have been sheltered in place pretty much for a week now. Grocery store, home store, gas station - only necessary places.

What may be an issue in Seattle and San Francisco, has nothing to do with whats going on in Oaklahoma or Iowa. Once something like that happens, it sets precedence and you can never unwind it. It signals massive government control over everyone anyplace. Our freedom and liberty are in great peril ladies and gentlemen.

Ned Lamont? Seriously?
People who live in Connecticut should be ashamed.
Oh wait. . . they should stop moving down here to sunny Florida, of course. Stay in Connecticut and enjoy the full Lamonty!
God bless Connecticut.

This is a coordinated attempt by the Democrat party to tank the economy. If hourly employees can't go to work, small businesses will die. Small business is 45% of the GDP. Take that away and a recession is guaranteed just in time for the election. And the Demos will blamed it all on Trump.
If you listened to Trump's coronavirus task force press conference today, he's on to them and will not let this happen.
