Klobuchar dropping out of
2020 race and endorsing Biden

Senator Amy Klobuchar is suspending her presidential campaign and flying to Dallas to endorse former Vice President Joe Biden, a campaign spokesman said Monday. The Minnesota Democrat will appear with Biden at a rally Monday night, just hours before voters in 14 states go to the polls on Super Tuesday. The move comes one day after Pete Buttigieg exited the race following Biden's convincing victory in South Carolina.

That's entire story at this point.

Both she and Mayor Pete have been promised something - cabinet positions, the VP slot, an ambassadorship (to a European capital). Both dropping out before Super Tuesday is something of an empty gesture. With early voting, a good percentage of the votes have already been cast. Zephyrman and I sent ours in weeks ago.

Re #13, hit Submit by accident: From CTH’s prediction: The move to drop out makes sense within the most likely Club pattern to support Joe Biden. Buttigieg drops out now ahead of Super-Tuesday allowing less fragmentation of the vote. It will be interesting to see if he follows a Club plan to endorse Joe Biden because Buttigieg previously wrote high praise for Bernie Sanders. Elizabeth Warren and Amy Klobuchar will stay-in to block Bernie’s delegate count in Massachusetts and Minnesota respectively (both states vote on Super Tuesday). Klobuchar will likely drop-out after Tuesday. Warren might follow. Klobuchar flying to Dallas to rally with Biden. Aiming for his VP slot?

SAN FRANCISCO — Silicon Valley venture capitalist Keith Rabois, onstage in January at a tech conference, said his first choice for president was a Democrat, Pete Buttigieg. And, sure, it would be a close call for Joe Biden over President Donald Trump. But Bernie Sanders? At that, Rabois, who has been a top executive at or invested in LinkedIn, Square, Yelp and PayPal, balked. Speaking to the crowd, he drew the line at democratic socialism. (Buttigieg ended his campaign Sunday night.) “I would certainly vote for Trump over Sanders,” Rabois declared. When it comes to the 2020 Democratic primaries, with

Former Vice President Joe Biden has picked up some big endorsements in the last week or so, including a couple in Virginia after he won South Carolina's Democratic presidential primary Saturday. But in case you're wondering if former President Barack Obama will get behind his old right-hand man before Super Tuesday, Biden suggests not holding your breath. During an appearance on ABC's This Week on Sunday, host George Stephanopoulos asked Biden, who is back in the thick of the race but is still likely chasing national frontrunner Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), if it's time for Obama to endorse him. Biden

Myrtle Beach (United States) - For centuries, South Carolina's Charleston was the largest port of entry for the transatlantic slave trade. Now, a billionaire activist named Tom Steyer is shaking up the state's Democratic primary by advocating slavery reparations for African Americans. A California financier turned philanthropist and environmental campaigner, Steyer has poured tens of millions of dollars into the state ahead of Saturday's vote -- with a single-minded focus on the black voters who make up 60 percent of its Democratic electorate. How South Carolina's African Americans vote in the White House primaries is traditionally a key indicator of which contender
