DES MOINES, Iowa — A small group of Democratic National Committee members has privately begun gauging support for a plan to potentially weaken Bernie Sanders’ presidential campaign and head off a brokered convention. In conversations on the sidelines of a DNC executive committee meeting and in telephone calls and texts in recent days, about a half-dozen members have discussed the possibility of a policy reversal to ensure that so-called superdelegates can vote on the first ballot at the party’s national convention. Such a move would increase the influence of DNC members, members of Congress and other top party officials, who

By all means, they should go for it. If they succeed, then millions of idiots who are Bernie supporters will either stay home or vote for Donald Trump.

If Bernie is denied the nomination at the convention there will be blood in the streets ten times worse than Chicago in 1968. If he is denied by the people before the convention then indeed the Bernie Bros will stay home. A win win situation for Republicans either way. The Democ rats are really between a rock and a hard place.

Sounds like 1964 republican convention in San Francisco with the POS's Rockefeller, Javits and Scranton attempting to derail Goldwater. Stop with all this caterwaulering and sniveling. Grow up. It's what happens in the nefarious land of politicians.

Looks like we are about to see the establishment liberal Democrat Big-shots also known as “Super Delegates” rig the Democrat National Convention in a redo of what they did in 2016 to screw old Bernie out of any possibility of getting the Democrat nomination. Maybe they will buy him another beach house in some liberal enclave to shut him up.

The dems seem intent on committing suicide. If they disenfranchise Bernie again there will be blood spilled in the dem party. As it is they are deeply fractured. This would create a civil war in the party. Can you imagine the Illinois governor having to call out the National Guard because dems are rioting? These are would be leaders of the Country?

If Bernie is screwed out of the nomination again I think there will be a independent run. And if the democratic vote is split the Trump win will be the largest in the history of the country. And both houses of Congress will be largely republican.
The Dems can just stay home.

We heard it from a Bernie supporter: it's going to be like Chicago with McGovern...in 1978. They may be stupid, but they make up for it with violent tendencies.

Just like the demonrats want to stop President Trump from being on the ballet, now they want to stop the Commie Bernie too. Who do they want to be the winner this time? Moron Joe? Pocahontas? Or maybe ride in the Butcher again?

They want Bernie out-again, and Joe to win. Their key must be the VP because even Plugs admits he is old.

Why don't they hand paint a sign on the entry to the Convention Center in a cartoonish font like "No Bernies!" and "No Girls!" for good measure. Kind of as a nod to the old Our Gang comedies.

Do it radical Dems! Remind this country how devious, unfair, and manipulative you are. Make sure your supporters know their vote can’t be trusted. The Dem elitists are obviously intellectually superior and you are nothing but the mob.

Yesterday in another post I predicted that the Rats would figure out some way to deny Bernie the nomination. Looks like they're already hard at work to make my prediction come true!

It baffles me as to why the Democrat Party lets Bernie run in their primary if they won't let him win it. Does anyone have the answer to this? A second baffling item is why Bernie aligns himself when he knows they won't let him win.

The DNC's first mistake was to let an avowed Socialist run under their Party banner in the first place. Their fear was that the creation of vibrant Socialist Party with Bernie as their candidate would split the Dems.
Instead they have effectively split the Dem Party from within.
