DEDHAM, Mass. — A woman is suing TripAdvisor after a runaway camel tossed her to the ground during a tour in Morocco. Breanne Ayala, 24, is accusing Massachusetts-based TripAdvisor and its subsidiary Viator of negligence and breach of contract for failing to ensure the camel tour company was operating safely, The Boston Globe reported on Friday, citing the lawsuit. The suit was filed in Norfolk Superior Court on Monday. Ayala, who is from New Jersey, and her family booked a sunset camel tour in Marrakech, Morocco, through Viator. Ayala claims she and her family did not receive a safety briefing before

This will get dismissed pretty quickly. TripAdvisor has zero liability for this brainless child.

Ayala? Perhaps a non-native resident trying to squeeze the system? I see it all. the. time.

The camel was just in a hurry to get to Fort Bend County, Texas to be with Mohamed Omar Ali. See above post.

If anything bad happens, ever, it has to be "somebody else's fault", and the fool needs to get paid in cash for their own errors.
Totally ridiculous. Some online rating company is supposed to be responsible for camel ride safety standards in a 3rd world country? The woman is a fool.

Her name identifies her as a person who must have had many camel jockeys in her ancestry. This is simple extortion. Nobody is this stupid unless there is a large amount of money involved.

They're mean stupid animals. And the camels aren't very nice either.
Kidding aside, camels are nasty. Bob Hope got spat on by a camel while filming Road to Morocco, and it really hurt. They had to cut the scene early, in part because Bing Crosby couldn't stop laughing.

Although it may not be enough, here is some Viator "fine print":
"If you book a reservation for a travel experience through the Website, you agree to review and be bound by the supplier's terms and conditions and any other rules or policies related to the supplier's travel experience. Your interactions with third-party suppliers are at your own risk. Viator will have no liability with respect to the acts, omissions, errors, representations, warranties, breaches or negligence of any third-party suppliers or for any personal injuries, death, property damage, or other damages or expenses resulting from your interactions with third-party suppliers."

Believe me, there are even more stupid tort cases in the past that have ended up in big settlements. I'm sure she has a very creative lawyer who will twist liability logic into a pretzel to make this pay off. If TripAdvisor has to appear in Morrocan court to defend itself that might be all they need to hear to settle.

She may be the only human on the planet that actually thinks tripadvisor goes to every business and investigates their kitchen, their safety equipment, their sheets...
They simply report what others have experienced. She should write a scathing review on trip advisor and hopefully all future camel riding business will be ended, by those willing to seek advise from strangers.

Camels are jerks.
If she knew the camel was a jerk and sued anyway, she's a gold-digger.
If she didn't know the camel was a jerk, she's a fool.

Can't think of a single good reason anyone would want to ride a camel when we have self-driving cars. In Morocco no less. They don't even have pyramids.
