DENVER -- Denver Public Schools and Denver police are investigating reports involving students being harassed on a field trip to the Denver Public Library. Sixth graders from Skinner Middle School in northwest Denver were visiting the library Thursday when students say a group of homeless people near the entrance began swearing at them, using racial slurs and using inappropriate hand gestures. At one point, multiple students say a handgun fell off a man's lap and onto the ground near the students. "I just want to forget about it because I want everything to be fun again," said Aaliyah Patrick. Patrick says

Comments:

They should not allow groups of homeless to congregate by the library door. But - liberal cities seem to let them run rampant.

We let the left call the shots, and public libraries are now fancy lounges where the homeless can do their thing. Go there for a book and maybe get assaulted, catch a disease, see one bathing naked in a sink, any number of things, and that's on top of "drag queens" reading gay books to young children. Things were better when we had law and order, but now "anything goes."

Libraries are one of the best places for homeless to occupy. I wouldn’t be surprised that officials made the homeless leave before the students got there.

A while back, it was reported that the Denver Public Library was stocking Narcan because there had been so many overdoses in the facility. That was a big invitation to the homeless to come inside for a warm place to hang out and shoot up. No one should be surprised when they consider the library "theirs."

I sincerely, and in the confines of a safe conservative community am willing to say, that I cannot think of a single liberal policy that has had positive long term outcomes. Liberal policies have wrecked millions of Black American families, led to violence and miserable living conditions in hundreds of America's inner cities, damaged a once fine public school system to the point that a high school diploma can be gained by a functionally illiterate, encouraged millions of Americans to become envious, spiteful, and unable to think critically..And of course, ruined our once sacrosanct public libraries.

How dare they allow children into the Public Library? Don't they know the computers are for the street vermin to watch Porn, the bathrooms for shooting up and bathing, and the rest of the building for a warm cozy place to sleep? At least they were smart enough to bring the children in a supervised group. They would be in serious danger if they had the audacity to enter the library on their own.

Who in their right minds think homeless camps are a good thing? Obviously, the big government left who thinks they can take care of (control) everybody. Shut them down. They are only going to get worse. The left is using them for political power so they will never fix the problem.

Miami - A Saudi military student reportedly condemned America as a "nation of evil" in an online manifesto prior to opening fire Friday at a US naval base, killing three people before being shot dead by police. Republicans are dramatically outspending Democrats on impeachment-related ads on Facebook and television, illustrating how fully the GOP has embraced the issue as a political winner as public opinion remains split on the House effort to remove the president. The ad blitz has worried some Democrats in swing districts who are being painted as do-nothing, pro-impeachment radicals. The Democrats have been urging party leaders for weeks to strike back with their own countermessage, to no avail. Over the past month, GOP candidates have used anti-impeachment messages to try to recruit new supporters, and independent big-money groups boosting Republicans have launched roughly

Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg referred to New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker, a black opponent for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination, as "well spoken," a comment that, like Joe Biden's 2007 faint praise of rival Barack Obama as "articulate and bright," drew criticism. Before winning his Senate seat in a 2013 special election, Booker was mayor of Newark, just west of New York City. “Cory Booker endorsed me a number of times, and I endorsed Cory Booker a number of times. WASHINGTON — The Democratic presidential contest in California remains extremely fluid — but not enough, at least so far, to provide an opening for Michael Bloomberg, who entered the race two weeks ago and was banking on winning big in the delegate-rich state, a new poll for the Los Angeles Times has found. The survey by the University of California, Berkeley Institute of Governmental Studies found that both Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts — the commanding front-runner in a September California poll — and former Vice President Joe Biden have lost ground among the state’s likely Democratic primary voters over

Many Americans remain nonplussed over revelations in the House Intelligence Committee’s Impeachment Inquiry Report that its chairman, Adam Schiff, not only secretly subpoenaed telephone records from President Trump’s attorney, Rudy Giuliani, but also obtained responses that detailed dates and lengths of phone calls to Trump attorney Jay Sekulow, ranking committee member Devin Nunes, and Hill reporter John Solomon. That Schiff self-disclosed this action as a rightful part of his committee’s information gathering is equally stunning.
