So overly sensitive - very strange. What if a black couple wanted their wedding at a beautiful former plantation, would they be ostracized?

Confederate flags and monuments have no business on public property, they said. They should be removed, they said. Of course it took no Einstein to predict that if you gave in on that it wouldn't be enough. ALL things associated with the Old South, unless it depicts misery of Africans, must be eradicated, even on private property. Them same goes for the LGBTQEIEIOLSMFT gang. All they wanted was acceptance and "equal rights", they said. But now if you fall short of gleefully accepting and endorsing and celebrating their way of life you are vilified and attacked, and sometimes driven to financial ruin. Giving in to and compromising with these fanatics will never satisfy them. Just like it didn't satisfy Hitler.

So it's not conquered ground won by the victorious Union Army defeating the slave holding Confederacy? It's not a symbol of the great triumph leading to the day of jubilee? Well then what about the ground once occupied by cannibals? That would tend to eliminate much of the country.

Stop romanticizing Tom Hanks. You know that Forrest Gump was named for Nathan Bedford Forest. Shocking! And don’t relocate the whole family to South Carolina. You’d absolutely hate it here. To be safe, marry in Havana. Stay for the health care.

So when do they stop 'romanticizing' New York? New York is of course named after the Duke of York, who held the 'Exclusive Rights' -that is, the Monopoly- on English slave trading. link: https://www.libertyheadlines.com/new-york-named-horrendous-slave-trader/

WASHINGTON — The Democratic presidential contest in California remains extremely fluid — but not enough, at least so far, to provide an opening for Michael Bloomberg, who entered the race two weeks ago and was banking on winning big in the delegate-rich state, a new poll for the Los Angeles Times has found. The survey by the University of California, Berkeley Institute of Governmental Studies found that both Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts — the commanding front-runner in a September California poll — and former Vice President Joe Biden have lost ground among the state’s likely Democratic primary voters over

NEW YORK — Nearly 10 months out of bankruptcy, Sears is limping into the holiday shopping season. Eddie Lampert, the hedge fund billionaire who promised to save 425 Sears and Kmart stores and roughly 45,000 jobs when he bought the company out of bankruptcy, has seen his $5.2 billion lifeline wither. While there were plans for new small stores centered on appliances, only three have opened. The chain is still shrinking. By February, the store count will be down to 182. Many of the stores that remain have the same old problems. They’re grungy and understaffed, poorly stocked and losing

WASHINGTON - The third most senior House Democrat wants a vote on articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump — and the charges against him to include obstruction of justice related to the findings of former special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation. That controversial strategic position, laid out by House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn, D-S.C., in a brief interview with McClatchy on Tuesday evening, is the strongest and most decisive statement yet by a member of the House Democratic leadership team. It also comes amid a hushed internal debate over how best to proceed. Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s top lieutenants have, until

What the @#$%^&* is going on with Joe Biden? The guy who was supposed to sweep to the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination is flummoxed and flustered, floundering and fumfering his way down to fourth place in Iowa, one of the states where Democratic voters start the process of picking their nominee. When he’s not trying to keep his blindingly white dentures in place, the 77-year-old is saying some absolutely wacky — and oddly disturbing — things. And doing some weird things, too. Case in point: A short video resurfaced this week showing Mr. Biden describing how children would rub his

Senator Cory Booker of New Jersey on Tuesday proposed investing $100 billion in historically black colleges and universities and other minority-serving institutions, a broad proposal in a Democratic field that has offered varying plans to prop up this longstanding yet struggling arm of the educational system. Many H.B.C.U.s, as historically black colleges and universities are commonly known, have faced widespread financial woes recently, with some schools losing accreditation and facing plummeting enrollment. Mr. Booker’s proposal comes at a precarious time for his presidential campaign: Despite crossing the 200,000 individual-donor threshold last month, he is still short four qualifying polls for

Before reports emerged that Kamala Harris is dropping out of the presidential race, she was trailing Mike Bloomberg in her bid to be the Democratic nominee for the president, and stood at 2 percent in the latest national Harris–The Hill poll released Monday. On paper, Kamala Harris was a strong candidate for the Democratic nomination: likely to boost turnout among women and African Americans, a relatively fresh face, access to a big network of California donors. Last Friday, the New York Times ran a “pre-mortem” of her failing campaign, full of on-the-record quotes from campaign staffers, advisers, and associates pointing

A little something to cleanse the palate. She said this in an interview today with Howard Stern, which makes it slightly less weird since chatter about lesbians is like 40 percent of the content on that show. Or at least it was when I was a regular listener a million years ago. (In fairness to Stern, she’s the one who brings it up.) He went easy on her by not asking the obvious follow-up: What were you doing at Epstein’s ranch, then? She should consider this a missed opportunity, as a surprise admission of bisexuality would have helped add a little more “diversity” to an upcoming Democratic debate.

California Sen. Kamala Harris should never have run for president in the first place. Her ambition far exceeded her ability. She hadn’t yet established herself in the U.S. Senate. And she hadn’t exactly excelled in her previous job as California’s attorney general. There wasn’t much of a record worth bragging about on the campaign trail. After being elected to the Senate in a 2016 cakewalk, she should have spent the next three years focused exclusively on representing Californians in Congress, helping the state on such vital issues as water development, environmental protection, healthcare and homelessness. But people around her — political advisors and her sister Maya Harris
