A Texas teacher who lost her job after asking President Trump on Twitter to remove the “illegal students from Mexico” from her school has won an appeal to get her job back. Texas Education Agency Commissioner Mike Morath ruled Monday that the series of offensive tweets sent in May by Georgia Clark — an English teacher at Carter-Riverside High School in Fort Worth — were protected by the First Amendment, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

Comments:

Teacher sees dozens of illegals in her high school. Teacher begs Trump for help on Twitter. Teacher gets fired illegally, now has her job back with back pay. She is a HERO PATRIOT. Good for you Georgia Clark!

NEA is pro illegals since for every 20 or so they get another teacher (card carrying member).

Texas Education Agency Commissioner Mike Morath ruled Monday that the series of offensive tweets sent in May by Georgia Clark . . . Time to fire this commissioner - at least for a few months, like he did this teacher. Perhaps we should just never ending start impeachment proceedings against him. These tweets are not offensive. This teacher was only pointing out the obvious. Laws need to be upheld. Just ask Adam Schiff.

Just start calling for the removal of all school employee's who are not following the law. They know the students are here illegally and are using up funds from the schools. They are not supposed to be on the free and reduced lunch program. They are using fake documents for identification, and are costing the taxpayers tons of money. They are robbing the public blind. The school administrators are guilty of aiding and abetting these criminal acts. Start going after the "little people" in the schools, then they will have to explain how the "administrators" and "higher ups" have forced them, the"little people" to allow this corruption to go on. The people doing the real work in the schools want to do what is necessary to educate the kids, not be overrun with kids that are not supposed to be there in the first place. Expose the big shots who are acting illegally, make them answer for the corruption they are engaged in. It is so plain to see! We have to get off our butts!

The "onliest" (Texas jargon) reason I can think of is it has to be Californians who migrated to the Great Conservative State of Texas where they do not tolerate such nonsense.

A prestigious Ohio college is defending a memorial put up by students honoring the lives of Palestinian radical Islamic terrorists killed by Israel's military. Citing free speech, Oberlin College gave the green light to an anti-Israel display commemorating "unarmed Palestinian civilians" killed in Gaza airstrikes earlier this month. Israel Defense Forces said the strikes killed 25 members of the terrorist group, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, an Iran-backed group that has previously taken credit for suicide bombings targeting Israeli civilians.

Elizabeth Warren has a plan for that. And often, she's got a new federal agency for that, too. A Fox News analysis of the Democratic presidential candidate's myriad and much-touted plans reveals that Warren's ambitious agenda of policy prescriptions would not only prompt sweeping change in everything from health care to clean energy, but would come with the creation of at least 20 offices, bureaus, agencies, divisions or councils.

Sea level rise, a trend that predates the Industrial Revolution, is being blamed on CO2 emissions, and has become one of the most potent harangues used to guilt-trip the populace of major industrial countries over the use of carbon-based energy. (Mysteriously China and India, whose expanding carbon footprints dwarf the expensive reductions engineered with Teslas, windmills, and vegan diets in the West, are largely exempted from criticism.)

Rock legend Bruce Springsteen took aim at President Trump in a new interview Friday, saying the president doesn't "grasp" the meaning of being an American. In an interview on "CBS This Morning," host Gayle King asked Springsteen about a recent Trump rally in which the president bragged that his election victory in 2016 was accomplished without the support of celebrities like Springsteen, Beyoncé and Jay-Z. "You surprised that he's trash-talking you after all this time?" King asked. "Not really. Anything's possible," the New Jersey musician responded. King noted that "a lot of people are very concerned about the direction of the country," with Springsteen agreeing that it's a "very frightening time" in America.

And a whole bunch of key state offices went squarely to Republicans. Funny how the press isn't covering this much. But Guy Benson at Townhall is, and he found a Democratic Party "decimated":

Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib told Detroit’s chief of police that he should hire only black people as analysts to run their facial recognition software because, she claimed, non-black people think they all look alike. The suggestion came Monday as Chief James Craig gave Tlaib a tour of the Real Time Crime Center, where the department uses facial recognition technology to find suspects. Craig was showing Tlaib how the software works, and how analysts use it to identify and locate individuals. But the tour quickly turned contentious as the freshman Michigan congresswoman made repeated requests that were shot down by the chief.

This is predicated on them being an important ally in the region, and the only democracy in the Middle East.
