As President Donald Trump continued his attacks on the Ukraine whistleblower on Monday, Chuck Schumer is asking the intelligence community what is being done to protect the source from harm. The Senate Minority leader asked both the acting director of national intelligence and the inspector general on Monday afternoon to outline what "specific steps" they are taking to protect the whistleblower. Schumer said his understanding is the unidentified individual is receiving some security but said that he fears "safety risks may intensify in the event that the whistleblower’s identity is disclosed." "In light of the President’s ill-advised statements, his lack

For the "whistleblowers" protection, I suggest they put them in solitary confinement, like they did Paul Manafort.

Isn't projection, as practiced by Democrats, wonderful?
If this was a Dem POTUS being outed by a conservative whistleblower, then I would be worried for the safety. of the whistleblower.

For goodness sake, how ridiculous. Protect a fake “whistle blower” who isn’t really a “WB”, when the precise record of the “WB”s imaginary second hand conversation is known. Maybe put him in a protected environment, such as a Zoo, along with Schumer and Schiff and some other monkeys to keep him company.

Chuckie, the proof that our president wouldn't do that (even if he could) lies in fact that you're still ambulatory.

Pick a notable lefty, especially a whiner. Should be a good group to pick from.
(So what if it's phony, "it's the seriousness of the charge.")

What a bunch of Bull Schiff!
This indicates their story is collapsing, and they will leak some person's name, and then look to blame Trump.
I still question whether you can blow the whistle on something/someone, AFTER the fact of the incident (retroactively), just because the rules were changed(altered is another term one may want to use) simply to allow someone to use second-hand information that doesn't look very credible.

Schumer is the know-everything who warned President Trump against angering the intel community as they could really get him.
Schumer is fixated on that concept. Happy as a clam threatening what the intel community will do, Running to them like a frightened little boy. Schmuck.

The whistleblower laws protect whistleblowers from being retaliated against by the managers and supervisors in the federal agency where they are employed. What does revealing a whistleblower’s identity, if such a whistleblower even exists, have to do with him or her being retaliated against by the managers and supervisors of his or her employing agencies, as in this case the whistleblower compliant was not made against them so why would they even care to retaliate against that whistleblower?
Clearly the Democrats by creating a whistleblower, said to be employed in the federal bureaucracy, as their tool to file a whistleblower complaint against the President of the USA, who was never contemplated as a target of bureaucratic whistleblowers under those laws, was and is a gross misuse of the whistleblower laws for partisan political purposes.

Let's get one thing straight, this person is not a whistleblower. His actions did not qualify as whistleblower until the corrupt ICIG changed the rules, after the fact, to allow second hand information, i.e. heresay. This is the c--p the Dems always pull and get away with. Schumer is also putting up a false red flag. Also something Dems always do.

Hear me now and believe me later, Shumer! It was not President Donald J. Trump who made ill advised statements! It was the individual you are trying to designate as a whistleblower. Ain't no such a thang!

First, there is no whistleblower. The law deson't cover what this person did. Trump isn't an employee of the Intelligence community. He is an elected executive. Big difference. Second, this person is a co-conspirator in a Democrat Coup d'tat. We the American people have THE right, more than any other party, to know who is trying to help in this Coup.

Chuckie is a criminal in his own right and the DOJ let him off the hook. He illegally obtained Steele's SS # so he could run a credit check on him. I agree with #1 and put Chuckie in the same cell.
