Ruth Bader Ginsburg has the Left all anxious because pancreatic cancer threatens to take her out. That would give right-of-center judges an advantage, or at least a fighting chance, in putting America back on the path where judges interpret the law rather than make the law. Were their ideas fully explained to and understood by the public, leftists would be overwhelmingly defeated and never win much of anything. Knowing they cannot win a fair fight, they concentrate on putting judges in office to do their bidding via judicial fiat. The mild right let this process get established, and now much

The Left hates her for not stepping down for BO.

I hope the Republicans will not tolerate any behavior like we had with Kavanaugh. It won't matter, if all Republicans vote for the nominee.

She's dead, Jim. But as the spawn of Lenin, the Democrat party has been feeding her that stuff that's kept their icon looking pretty good for these past 90 years.

Both sides should stay quiet and leave Justice Ginsberg alone. After the man upstairs calls Justice Ginsberg home there will be enough time to argue over who should replace her on the Supreme Court.

She's having radiation treatments according to a picture of her coming out of the hospital with help to go up stairs. That means the cancer is back.

I think there is a high probability that we will have this new Supreme Court nomination fight before the election. Probably this year, or early next year.

A STAIN is evident in the WORK of scorned woman (?) R B G.
She cannot die fast enough for this AMERICAN. And I am quite tired of seeing a dead person on TV...weekend at Ruth's?

I hate it that this poor old lady is having to go through Cancer treatments again. She isn't my favorite person, but I wouldn't wish this on anyone. I don't think we should be speculating how long she will live. I think we should pray she doesn't suffer and is allowed to die in peace (whenever the Good Lord decides to call her). There will be plenty of time to put in a new Judge. Yes there will be a fight, but no, the Democrats wont be able to stop it from happening. Too bad Roberts turned out to be such a disappointment. We HAVE a majority right now, but we can't count on him, so maybe two more Conservatives in the next few years would be a good idea!

#9, After her life, although it is certainly not up to me to judge, my money would be on Satan calling her, not God.

Agree, #10, though she will meet God first to be given her judgement. When we die, we stand before God naked, clothed only in the deeds of our lifetimes. She will be standing in a mountain of dead babies, baby parts with blood running off it in rivers.

I will always remember Ruthie for her comment during oral arguments in Bush v. Gore, 2000.
"I just don't see a federal issue here," said Ruthie.
Fortunately, her good friend, Antonin Scalia, explained the applicable federal law to her. (The law was passed around 1878 or so, after the 1876 Hayes-Tilden fiasco. It prohibited states to change the rules during a presidential election cycle. The Florida Supreme Court changed the rules for recounting votes)
Interestingly enough, Ruthie could find a federal issue in darned near any other case before the Court. But I will give her credit for saying that Roe v. Wade should never had been heard by the U.S. Supreme Court, and was badly reasoned.

In the meantime it is amazing how incurious the media is about RBG's health. Can't find a single follow-up story on her latest cancer diagnosis - and very few opinion pieces.
