HANOVER, N.H. — Former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. on Friday took a series of unusual rhetorical detours at the end of a town-hall-style campaign event nominally dedicated to health care, speculating about how a political assassination of Barack Obama might have affected the country in 2008 and recalling that he was accused of being gay because of his support of women’s rights in the 1970s. After speaking about the health care plan he introduced last month and taking a few questions, Mr. Biden grew most animated as he recalled the fraught political era of 1968, when he was

Joe, Obama isn't shot because we don't do things the way your side does. We try them in a court of law, or, if in a state of war, he might be shot at then, but that is hardly an assassination. It's Liberals who practice thuggery and assassination. You can point to almost every murderous crime in America, or Europe, Or Asia, and behind every act of violence there is a Communist, a Socialist, Nazis and KKK, All Liberal institutions. You'd have to go back to Medieval Times to find a mass killer whose motivation and background wasn't Liberal. Usually, they were pagans who wanted to steal things, which amounts to the same thing.

Frankly, while Zero was in office, I imagined it daily. Not that I would take a potshot, but that the Clinton's might. Then, there would have been a squabble because the Demonrat party would realize Uncle Joe couldn't handle the job, so they would have tried to shoehorn Hollary or Moochel into the job, regardless of Constitutional succession rules. Obama never hired anyone competent into any positions in that line, in case someone got ideas.

"Assassinate Obama" fantasies? What in the hell is the matter with Vice President Joe Malaprop? Can he hear himself speak? Is he a complete fool? Is he helpless? When Biden opens his mouth he lights the fuse of a huge firecracker which is never long in exploding in his face. It happens every day with him. There is no telling what this moron will say next, but it is sure to be unintentionally hilarious.

Much like Hillary Clinton in 2016, Joe Biden’s Democratic primary campaign has thus far cloaked itself in an aura of inevitability. You might not like Joe Biden. He might say racist or sexist stuff from time to time. His gaffes might be occurring at an alarming rate. He might have uninspiring policy ideas. But he’s going to win the primary anyway, so you better get used to him. That was the subtext, at least, and an explanation for how banal Biden’s campaign has been so far. If you’re Disney, you have everything to rave about; if you’re another studio, it wasn’t so easy. Last weekend, Universal became only the second studio to earn a $1 billion this year, well behind The House of Mouse. Combined, Universal and Warner Brothers have released 20 titles this year, and still lag behind Disney’s seven releases by about $800 million. The homogenized market only continued throughout the summer. For 16 weeks in a row the top film was based upon an existing property.

That is a major reason why he remains popular with conservatives and has seen his favorability ratings rise. Sure, I like President Trump’s actions on job-killing regulations, tax relief, border security, energy independence, military funding, judicial appointments, and so on. But what really invigorates me and millions of other EverTrumpers is that he is fearless -- impervious to attacks by his adversaries and merciless in responding to them.
