NEW ORLEANS—Senator Kamala Harris’s line sisters took up two rows. They had pledged Alpha Kappa Alpha, the nation’s oldest black sorority, alongside Harris at Howard University back in 1986. At Essence Festival here on Saturday, they wore matching T-shirts, and pink-and-green beaded necklaces to represent AKA’s signature colors. As soon as Harris acknowledged their presence and support, they cheered loudly and belted, “Skee-wee!”—the sorority’s high-pitched trademark greeting. Comments:

The Dem party is full of factions that are an inch wide but a mile deep. If Kamalala can capture most of the black women, Old Joe will have a huge impediment to his nomination.

So, her base is Alpha Kappa Alpha from Howard University. Can't be much of a base if an elitist sorority is her base. I'm sure common working black folks gag when they hear her name and how much wages they stand to lose and how much criminality will be encouraged under any of her rule. Eight years of Barry destruction was enough.

If blacks show up for Kamela Harris like they did for Barrack Obama, she probably gets the nomination. Not sure that's going to happen. Suspect many blacks are turned off by the pandering BS, and will either stay home or vote for Trump. Its early yet, but think the Democratic nomination will end up being a 2 way race between Harris and Biden. Sanders and Warren are too old. Pete Buttigieg has not caught on. The Democrats know they cannot win the general without a bunch of migrant votes and massive voter fraud.

Why did Labor Secretary Alexander Acosta resign? His supposed “offense” was declining to prosecute Jeffrey Epstein in return for the billionaire sex predator’s guilty plea in state court (and concomitant jail sentence) when he was U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida. That is hardly an offense or even scandalous. It’s a professional decision that prosecutors across the country make every day. You can agree or disagree with it, but it is hardly grounds to lose your next job over. So what is going on here? The least likely possibility is that there really was something scandalous about Acosta’s decision.
