So Rich beat me to the punch, right as I was writing this. Yes, this is my last day at National Review. While I’m excited about my new venture, I can’t say this isn’t a profoundly melancholy moment for me. I’ve been at NR longer than I’ve been married. Far longer than I’ve been a father. It’s been the lodestar of my professional and much of my personal life for 21 years. I talk about it in today’s G-File and there’s info there for how to follow what comes next. But since the Corner was”

Obviously we all adore Miss Lucianne. She is a lovely lady and consummate hostess. I still love Jonah but do long for the days when his couch and dog gave him advice. :) He has been dead wrong about a great many things especially outside the beltway for a while now. There is something to be said for understanding the prevailing winds and rolling with a tide that is indeed raising a great many ships for good conservative voting folks. We should be on the same team.

As long as Mom remains grounded in reality, I will seek opinion and views from Lucianne.com., and its readers.

While he has a incomprehensible blind spot as far as President Trump is concerned Jonah Goldberg is impossible to dislike, at least by me. I enjoy his articles and am sorry I will no longer be reading them in the print edition.

Unreadable.
If I ever want to read trite, sophomoric writing replete with allusions to The Simpsons, I know where to find ya.
If the phone don't ring you know it's me. Take George Will with you.

Blessings, Jonah. I haven't agreed with you 100% of the time, but I've always had a soft spot for you - and not just because of your terrific mom. Good luck on the new adventure.

I used to anticipate your writing, Jonah. I'm sure it's still entertaining, but this nation's President needs support and unity of party. I simply have less respect for you.

I am not a "never Trumper." I am beyond grateful that Hillary is not president. But like Jonah, I see a terribly flawed president who lacks the intellectual and moral substance, grace and humility to be an effective statesman and national leader. That is the simple truth. Would I support a Democrat? Not a chance in Hades. I feel like a Bulls fan having had to root for Dennis Rodman. Winning is better. Sigh. Would that I could actually admire him.

And yet #12 the backbone of America does love him just the way he is. Military aircrew members have patches made for their flight suits and Academy grads swarm him for pictures. Have you ever asked yourself what is wrong with you?

You need to open your eyes, #12, and see what is really there. A strong, willful man who loves this country, loves ordinary
Americans and wants to stop the globalist thieves from stealing our jobs, out lives and our country from us.
God Bless Donald Trump.

I didn't read it either. I gave up on him after his "never Trump" crap. I realized then the insincerity of his authorship of "Liberal Fascism".
#12, before I read this, I was cooking my breakfast, thinking how fortunate the Donald Trump is President and that he is going to run for re-election. His fearlessness has allowed him to face down the enemies of liberty that infest the federal DOJ and the leftist media. I think no other professional politician could have weathered the onslaught. Professional politicians thrive on being liked. Trump thrives on overcoming adversity. Really, his election is Providential. As another wrote about you, you should ask yourself... what is wrong with the way you are thinking.

Would #12 at least admit that President Trump has faced hatred and adversity more than any CIC in our history?

Few of us have a personal, close relationship where we are able to state with authority the character and moral fiber of President Trump. Thus, we must gather public opinion to form our thoughts about him. What I have seen leads me to belief that he is honest, sincere, moral, and, as others have said, that he loves this country and its people, and he is on a mission to right this ship of ours ... and he is doing a splendid job of it.
I suppose it is necessary to state the disclaimer that he is not perfect but no leader nor any man today is such. There was a perfect man once and he was called a drunkard, gullton, a friend of the worst sort of people. Public opinion on someone we don't know must be judged on public acts. President Trump has turned this nation around, off the path of destruction, that is leadership. He has turned us away from war, that is the highest form of statesmanship. I'll stick with the winner.

#12- You should contact Jonah and see if he will sell you his fainting couch rather than move it to wherever he's going and won't be missed.

Goldberg and Lowry destroyed the National Review. Never forget their Against Trump issue with articles by Glenn Beck, Brent Bozell, Mona Charen, Ben Domenech, Erick Erickson, Mark Helprin, William Kristol, Daña Loesch, Andrew W. McCarthy, Michael Medved, John Podhoretz and Cal Thomas. Their names will live in infamy for their anti-Trumpism when God sent us this genius to change the trajectory of the USA. I subscribed to National Review for 20 years and cancelled after they became NeverTrumpers. In the last few months they send me for free a pathetically thin magazine, which goes into the garbage unopened. 👋
