WASHINGTON — Some supporters of Donald Trump proudly tout their loyalty with “Make America Great Again” T-shirts and hats, taking delight in the irritation they may cause critics of the president. There’s even a thriving market for Trump tattoos, which take that provocation to an entirely new — not to mention permanent — level. But some who voted for Trump kept quiet about casting their vote for him in the 2016 election, fearing condemnation from friends, family and co-workers. A new study finds that “secret” Trump voters were twice as common as “secret” voters for Hillary Clinton. In fact, more than half of

The dems have successfully driven many of the rest of us underground. They freely blurt out leftist drivel with a presumption that we all agree. The good news it that it will serve us well for our adversaries to underestimate our numbers and conviction. They have fallen for the popular image of a Trump supporter and can't imagine that a well educated well spoken and outwardly decent person could possible be one, let alone a dark complected one.

Apparently, this was the case in Australia as well. There was a pollster (cannot remember) that had the closest results to election night 2016. She asked the question, Who is your neighbor voting for? If they said Trump, then she knew that person was voting for Trump. It seemed to work.

I think. just for fun, if any pollster calls me, I'll tell them I like Bill DiBlasio or some other leftist loon. Maybe even Beto. Just to let you know when the poll comes out and Eric Swalwell has a 20 point lead over Trump, you'll know it's working (hat tip to El Rushbo's "Operation Chaos" from 2008).
But since folks get fired or beaten up for speaking out for President Trump or wearing a red MAGA hat, a lot of folks have decided to keep their political leanings to themselves.

“These are conversations,” Slepian says, “people need to have.”
Yeah, right. Liberals are far more likely to rip your face off for disagreeing with them. There is no discussion of issues or a willingness to "agree to disagree." Instead, they immediately go to personal attacks and name-calling. I learned that lesson years ago when I dared to disagree with a crew of liberal harpies at dinner. Never again. Now I just keep the conversation on superficial things, profess a disinterest in politics, and change the subject quickly.

#7, Of course they want people to have these conversations so that they can attack those who express the wrong opinions.

We are driving down to So Cal for a long Memorial Day weekend. TK and I will be wearing our red MAGA caps for the entire 600 drive down US 101, and I-5 on the return home. Should be lots of fun!
Personally, I'm proud to support President Trump...loud and proud.

You get sued or pushed out if you admit you are conservative, so of course we are quiet.

when i received calls asking which candidate I was going to vote for I always said hitlary.
And I laughed all night when Donald Trump was elected.
I truly believe that the media wanted Hitlary so they pushed the notion that she was the front runner. I dont believe for a second that she ever was the front runner. Just by watching her rally"s. No one was there, while people were turned away at Trump rally's.

Was it 'secret' back when one's vote was considered a private matter not to be discussed in public?
Or just a dignified way to handle a sacred responsibility of liberty?

Mark Levin had a team go through hundreds of thousands of FBI employee emails released by the IG report. While there were an expected number of pro Hillary emails, there was NOT A SINGLE detectable pro Trump email among those. For obvious reasons. That right there is the worst enemy of your and my freedom.

Hillary set back feminist women back, all the way to the 60's. Makes me smile from ear to ear. I only wish I had Jugearred Obama's ears.
