Access to a government jet 24 hours a day. An office in the West Wing, plus guaranteed weekends off for family time. And an assurance of being made secretary of homeland security by November.
Those were among a list of 10 conditions that Kris Kobach, the former Kansas secretary of state, has given to the White House if he is to become the administration’s “immigration czar,” a job President Trump has been looking to create to coordinate immigration policy across government agencies. The list was described by three people familiar with it.

Hey, if he is able to stem the tide, it's a small price to pay.

Anything written by Maggie Haberman is a lie. Why does Lucianne keep enabling liars, the true enemy of the people, to post on her site? Maggie, are you ready to be prosecuted for sedition and/or treason? WWG1WGA! MAGA! KAG!

He should get a job at a bank if he wants a 9-5 job.

This is clearly a calculated hit job. Look at the author, the channel, the anonymous sources, and think logically how easy it would be for a skilled writer to make all of this up from one simple grain of truth. E.g. Kobach probably did say he wants to spend a lot of time physically on the border, but also still wants to protect his family time on the weekends. Perfectly normal and excellent goals. Now Maggie, go write a hit piece on that because we hate Trump and want to ruin Kobach's life.

Wow, with this kind of well poisoning, they must really be afraid of Kobach and the fact that like Barr, he would actually do the job as Trump wants. I think even Coulter is screaming her head off about this.

Not a good look, Kris.
Plus, Trump has fired other officials for the same sorts of stunts. Not a bright look, either.

NYT lies all the time. I know Kris personally, and doubt that this it even close to the truth. I do know that he is VERY attached to
his family, so perhaps the weekends part might be true.
Not a reliable source, and Kris Kobach is a great guy, and would have a fantastic affect on this problem if he get a position of power.
