Caleb Cain pulled a Glock pistol from his waistband, took out the magazine and casually tossed both onto the kitchen counter. “I bought it the day after I got death threats,” he said. The threats, Mr. Cain explained, came from right-wing trolls in response to a video he had posted on YouTube a few days earlier. In the video, he told the story of how, as a liberal college dropout struggling to find his place in the world, he had gotten sucked into a vortex of far-right politics on YouTube.

Death threats, death threats !! This is another thing that is so overdone. Anytime someone disagrees with one of these SJW, we automatically hear how they received death threats. Reminds me of all the nooses and graffiti which turns out to be left by the person claiming to be attacked. Fake as can be !!

A long slog in the fever swamp here, so many nits to pick. In the end, it appears Mr. Cain is begging to be taken by the hand and shown the way, he is nobody's asset. Well, except for exploiters at the NY Times.

I’ll tell you why this is BS. Article states that YouTube steers viewers to “crazytown” (which btw is one of my very favorite sayings) but YouTube is currently demonetizing these same “crazytown” channels. Makes no sense. You know what that is right? Crazytown.

The Enemedia encourages, justifies, excuses and rationalizes violence against anyone on or supporting Team Trump, while arrogantly and deceitfully pointing the finger at the "far-right" (their misnomer) for being violence-prone. It is beyond despicable, and we hope the price they pay for this is very high indeed.

These days the best way to get subscribers, to get monetized, on your YouTube Channel is to claim that evil conservatives are trying to kill you. A lot cheaper than taking a bath in milk and cereal, and a lot less work than actually having talent or something worth hearing.

Mexico Agreed to Take Border Actions Months Before Trump Announced Tariff Deal 25 replies

The deal to avert tariffs that President Trump announced with great fanfare on Friday night consists largely of actions that Mexico had already promised to take in prior discussions with the United States over the past several months, according to officials from both countries who are familiar with the negotiations. Friday’s joint declaration says Mexico agreed to the “deployment of its National Guard throughout Mexico, giving priority to its southern border.” But the Mexican government had already pledged to do that in March during secret talks in Miami between Kirstjen Nielsen, then the secretary of homeland security, and Olga Sanchez, the Mexican secretary of the interior, the officials said.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi told senior Democrats that she’d like to see President Donald Trump “in prison” as she clashed with House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler in a meeting on Tuesday night over whether to launch impeachment proceedings. Pelosi met with Nadler (D-N.Y.) and several other top Democrats who are aggressively pursuing investigations against the president, according to multiple sources. Nadler and other committee leaders have been embroiled in a behind-the-scenes turf battle for weeks over ownership of the Democrats’ sprawling investigation into Trump.

Wednesday marks one week since Robert Mueller broke his silence and made a formal statement on the special counsel’s report on the 2016 Russian election interference. The Chart below compares Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s May 29 public statement with statements made by Attorney General William Barr. Whether or not Mueller was intentionally trying to correct the record, the differences between what he and Barr said are, in many cases, stark. Some of the differences involve near complete contradictions—in other words Mueller’s statement and Barr’s statements cannot both be true.

Access to a government jet 24 hours a day. An office in the West Wing, plus guaranteed weekends off for family time. And an assurance of being made secretary of homeland security by November. Those were among a list of 10 conditions that Kris Kobach, the former Kansas secretary of state, has given to the White House if he is to become the administration’s “immigration czar,” a job President Trump has been looking to create to coordinate immigration policy across government agencies. The list was described by three people familiar with it.

A growing number of Democratic presidential candidates in the 2020 election are calling for an end to a long-held standard for blood donations, which critics say enforces latent homophobia and leaves America’s blood supply vulnerable to unscientific limits. That policy, which bans gay and bisexual men who have had sex with other men within the past year from donating blood, has been criticised as unnecessary in terms of modern scientific testing for blood-borne sexually transmitted diseases like HIV–modern tests can find the virus in the bloodstream within two weeks. The 2020 election is lurching toward us like a malfunctioning robot, and I think we must ask ourselves: Can we risk nominating a man for president? Men selected as major-party nominees for president have failed to win the popular vote 50 percent of the time. Contrast that to the 100 percent of the time that a female nominee for president has won the popular vote. More importantly, are Americans ready to withstand another four years of male presidency? It is unpleasant to traffic in stereotypes, and many men are in no way like this, but recent experience teaches that for usually 31 days a month (sometimes 30, occasionally 28),

Stacey Abrams’s refusal to lose the Georgia gubernatorial election graciously was one of the low points of the 2018 midterms. But her insistence that Brian Kemp and the Republicans stole the election from her has now become an article of faith among Democrats. Democratic presidential contenders who traveled to Atlanta this week to speak to the African-American Leadership Council repeated the claim, which Abrams has made more than a dozen times since she lost to Kemp by 54,723 votes last November. In rote fashion, they repeated Abrams’s charges that the outcome was determined by “voter suppression” conducted by Kemp, who

The insurer that covers Oberlin College for liability, Lexington Insurance Company, filed documents with court last month indicating that its umbrella liability policy would not cover costs of any judgment for the plaintiffs. That means that if, after the appeals process has run its course, the plaintiffs move to collect the $11 million a jury just awarded them (plus whatever punitive damages – up to $22 more – are awarded next week), Lexington likely won’t pay and Oberlin would have to sue for reimbursement. Prince Charles fears the natural world may be doomed as efforts to counter climate change are 'coming too late'. The lifelong environmental campaigner, 70, admitted the loss of biodiversity 'terrifies me' and said 'the really difficult thing' is presenting acceptable alternatives for people. He said a key issue is the 'untold damage' done to the world's water cycle—in a nod to the fact that 'we seem to have forgotten that everything in nature is interconnected'. But striking a more positive note, the Prince of Wales seemed to have a constructive conversation with US President Donald Trump during his state visit
