Blurred lines: A pregnant man’s tragedy tests gender notions

Original Article

When the man arrived at the hospital with severe abdominal pains, a nurse didn’t consider it an emergency, noting that he was obese and had stopped taking blood pressure medicines. In reality, he was pregnant — a transgender man in labor that was about to end in a stillbirth. The tragic case, described in Wednesday’s New England Journal of Medicine, points to larger issues about assigning labels or making assumptions

Ahhh...the absurdities of transgenderism in action.

The problem with transgenderism is it tries to deny reality. Doesn´t work. A man cannot be a woman. A woman cannot be a man. This story is a perfect example. This ´man´ just had a reality check. He´s pregnant! Only women have children. Therefore this man is a woman. They can say anything they like to the contrary, but it changes nothing.

This is litigation nightmare for the medical community. So pretending to be a man even though having sex as a woman results in a pregnancy. Then, the ´man´ shows up at the hospital having a pregancy complication but identifies to the staff ass a man. Instantly, the possiblities of female related disease or complications is virtually ignored and now some trial lawyer can file a malpracitce suit based on the ´knew or should have known´ standard. How does a doctor treat a woman pretending to be a man? Does he do the usual screening for women like pap smears, mammography, pelvic exams? What about checking a ´woman´ for prostate cancer? And if a doctor assumes the person pretending to be a different sex needs the appropriate biological exams, wile he or she be sued for mental anguish for not honoring the transgender´s gender fantasy?

The gender notion being "tested" is the AP writer´s notion that an XX presenting as an XY is really an XY. Instead of beating themselves up with sensitivity training, clinicians just need an unambiguous system of labeling. The clinic I go to is still working on this, asking you to select "Gender before Puberty", or sometimes "M,F, Trans or Other". Both of these are ambiguous, of course. I think that choosing one of XX or XY, then Yes/No on Trans, would be a simple and respectful way to disambiguate the situation. This patient was simply an XX Trans.

She did (supposedly) tell the nurse that she is trans, but apparently neglected to mention that she home-tested as pregnant (which would have been helpful, maybe she was in too much distress to think of it), but by neglecting to pin down XX or XY, the staff slipped into judging her sex by her appearance. That´s the simple lesson of this case.

Isn´t it amazing how quickly the medical establishment has capitulated to this anti-science insanity? I recently completed a pre-appointment questionnaire with a major hospital that included several questions right out of the transgender playbook: Did I "identify" as male, female, other, even the option to tell them that I´d rather not say (that´s great for emergency treatment, keep ´em guessing"). Back to this story, the AP says that this "tragedy" illustrates the need for EVEN MORE acceptance and promotion of the transgender lunacy.

#20 - Just telling someone you are "trans" can mean either a man trying to be a woman, or a woman trying to be a man. The nurse probably didn´t know which was meant, so went with appearance to determine the sex of the individual.
The whole pronoun confusion is insanity - I still don´t know for sure if they mean a man or a woman when they refer to a transgender male. Why can´t a man say he is a man, or a woman just say she´s a woman? They can still dress and act any way they want, but really, this trans business has gone way too far.

When the lunacy of denying biology results in predictable inevitable consequences the answer seems to be to double down on lunacy.

FTA: " More needs to be done to improve medical awareness and recognition of diversity because “the consequences can be so dire, as this case shows,”

The kind of confusion that #29 expresses can be cleared up with a simple rule: If somebody in the MSM (or a self-identifying ´Progressive´) refers to anybody as "trans", just replace the word with "fake". For example, "Trans man" means fake man.

The way to avoid confusion is to remember that the MSM is the ideological and moral enemy of traditional America. They are aggressively pro-communist, pro-LGBTQWERTYUIOP, anti-JudeoChristian, anti-male, and anti-Constitution, et al. As such, their daily production serves to promote the downfall of American culture and oppose her traditional ideals.

It remains to be seen what will happen in another 10 - 30 years when all these young transgenders hit middle age and have to deal with the consequence of a lifetime intake of opposite sex hormones. It is the ultimate insanity to reject (and fight against) your biological nature. I don´t think these people are psychological ill for the most part; I think they are morally twisted. Georgia was one of the last states to cave to a statewide lockdown. It was also one of the first to start reopening. Republican Gov. Brian Kemp resisted calls to mandate a statewide closure, leaving it to local governments. When reopening was an option after guidelines were published, Kemp ensured that all Georgians would be allowed to participate in the reopening and prohibited local governments from implementing more restrictive guidelines than he did at the state level. The media freaked out on both ends of the lockdown. They browbeat Kemp until he issued the stay-at-home order.

President Biden on Monday seemed to forget Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin’s name at a White House event—calling the Pentagon chief “the guy who runs that outfit over there.” Biden was announcing the nomination of two female generals to lead US military combatant commands. “And I want to thank the sec—the, the, ah former general. I keep calling him general, but my, my—the guy who runs that outfit over there,” Biden said.(Snip) Earlier at the event, Biden mentioned the Defense Department leader by his name, “Secretary Austin,” while appearing to read from a teleprompter.

I’m probably second to none in my dislike for Meghan Markle. There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred. And the problem is that, when it comes to that left-wing diva, Meghan Markle, it’s hard to believe most of what she says. After weeks of hype, CBS finally televised Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah.

Rep. Steve Cohen vowed to renew the push to remove former FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover’s name from the bureau’s downtown Washington headquarters, according to an interview released Monday. Appearing on Yahoo! News’ Skullduggery podcast, the Tennessee Democrat said the effort is getting a fresh look after the release of a new movie highlighting the FBI’s secret program to discredit civil rights activists. The Washington Times in 2019 first reported Democrats’ bid to strip the longtime FBI director’s name from the bureau’s headquarters. Mr. Cohen said the impetus to revive the bid is the new movie, “Judas and the Black Messiah.” The movie details

“There must have been a moment, at the beginning, when we could have said –-no. But somehow we missed it.” Tom Stoppard The millions of Americans who were paying attention throughout the 2020 election campaign all became painfully aware of the fact that Joe Biden’s cognitive abilities were slipping and slipping fast. His wife, as the person closest to him, should have been the one to call the campaign quits in order to reduce stress on the man. Instead, apparently so anxious to become the First Lady by any means necessary, Mrs. Biden continued to push her failing husband’s campaign forward as if he were mentally qualified.
