Concern is mounting that taxpayers could be left holding the bag if the Obama Presidential Center runs into financial trouble, as the foundation behind it has yet to establish a promised $470 million safety net to guard against a public bailout. The scrutiny comes as a Fox News Digital investigation found multiple contractors and subcontractors claiming losses ranging from hundreds of thousands of dollars to millions on the project, with some alleging they remain locked in payment disputes and face financial ruin just days before the center's grand opening. Under its agreement with the city, the Obama Foundation pledged to create the fund, known as an endowment, as part

Don't bother Barry, he's too busy defending his JCPOA and claiming that it was a great deal that he and ValJar sealed with Iran. He may have to sell one of his homes because nobody out here is willing to pay for that ugly piece of Shiite that was built for him.

#14, agreed that's what the lying 'Rats accuse President Trump of doing. Of course they are 'projecting' their behavior onto him. On the truthful side of the ledger, I recall reading a story about Donald Trump the billionaire real estate developer. It seems that Trump had contracted some big outfit for some big construction job. They in turn subbed out some of the work to much smaller firms. One of the small construction guys completed their job, but the paperwork machinery at the big contractor was slow, and the guy did not get paid for -a while. The guy called Donald Trump directly, late on a Thursday evening, and explained that he was in a bind, he could not pay his workers because he did not get paid by the big contractor. FIRST THING THE NEXT MORNING a courier arrived at the small contractor with a personal check from Mr. Trump for the full amount. The small contractor was able to pay his guys THAT DAY, and they in turn were able to buy groceries and their families and kids could eat. THAT told me a LOT about the kind of guy Donald Trump IS!

Visa Program That Takes Jobs from Americans

Some Republicans and immigration hawks are demanding that the Trump administration finally end a visa program that incentivizes employers to hire foreign students. The Optional Practical Training program, created in 1992, allows foreign students to remain in the United States to work for nearly four years after graduation. Employers receive a tax break for hiring foreign graduates under the program, which some say gives foreign nationals an advantage over U.S. citizens. “F” student visa holders, including OPT graduates, are considered nonresident aliens for their first five calendar years in America. For those years, their wages are exempt from Social Security and Medicare taxes—for both the employee and the employer.

The UFC is scheduled to host “UFC Freedom 250” on the White House South Lawn on Sunday night. Organizers have constructed a custom octagon for the event, which is expected to host more than 4,000 guests.
