New York City was plunged into chaos as thousands of revelers flooded the streets of Midtown after the Knicks won their first NBA championship in 53 years. The out-of-control Knicks fans were seen smashing up a cop car outside of Madison Square Garden, while others destroyed MTA and school buses among the madness in the hours after New York’s historic win on Saturday night. Two maniacs were seen jumping on top of the car and smashing up its front windshield , according to a video posted by FreedomNews TV. Comments:

Burning busses, destroyed police cars, at least one person shot... Doesn't NYC have those military-like vehicles to clear the streets?
Yeah, sports are great for kids.

Over a dozen community members demanded action against what they described as Islamophobic comments made by a Peoria Unified School District governing board member. During a June 9 district board meeting, speakers said Janelle Bowles had shared posts on social media rejecting Islam as a religion, claimed Muslim families indoctrinate their children and suggested the religion would take over the country. Several district staff and parents asked for her resignation or the governing board to formally censure her. Students told the board Bowles’ comments made Muslim students feel unsafe in their own schools and normalized prejudice against them.

Anthony, 19, made the assertion in a notice of appeal filed after he was found guilty of fatally stabbing 17-year-old Austin Metcalf and sentenced to 35 years behind bars, according to a report by ABC WFAA. Anthony — who was moved to a Texas state prison Wednesday — is “penniless, destitute, and indigent person, too poor to employ counsel to represent me on the appeal,” reads the appeal form.

Billy Blair, 74, and his wife, Virginia Carol Blair, 71, were killed after 17-year-old Cordarius Hobbs broke into their home last Wednesday, WLBT reported. Hobbs has since been charged with capital murder. Cops swooped on the Mendenhall home just after noon for a welfare check after worried relatives couldn’t make contact — but they encountered gunfire upon their arrival. A bombshell House Oversight Committee report released Monday tells a different story. The report, titled "The Cost of Doing Nothing: How Tim Walz and Keith Ellison Fueled Minnesota's Fraud Explosion," concludes that Walz and Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison were aware of credible, systemic fraud in federally funded social programs as early as 2019 and did nothing. Their reasons for inaction weren't legal barriers. They were fear of lawsuits, fear of being called racist, and fear of upsetting the politically active Somali community in Minneapolis, a constituency both men depend on politically.
