Karmelo Anthony sobbed Tuesday as he was swiftly convicted of murder in the fatal stabbing of fellow high-school jock Austin Metcalf at a track meet — and his furious supporters raged, “This whole thing’s been racist!” The jury in Collin County deliberated about three hours before finding Anthony, 19, guilty of first-degree murder in the death of the 17-year-old and must now decide whether to put him away for life — prompting the killer’s weeping mom to later take the witness stand and beg for mercy for her son, according to a report by NBC DFW. “He’s my oldest. He’ll always be my baby.

Well your 'baby' brought a huge knife to a sporting event then stabbed a teenager to death. I suppose he was just turning his life around, but the jury had no sympathy.

Hey weepy mom, how much mercy did your wretched son give his murder victim? What a horrible family, profiting off their son being a murderer. It would be further justice to see the Metcalf family file a wrongful death suit to separate these grifters from the rest of their ill gotten gains.

Mamma, where did the kid get the knife? Who taught him to be respectful of other people? Why did the kid chose to put a knife in his backpack? Of course, the jury should have mercy because the kid only killed one person, right?

By what reasoning do all those protesting the jury's decision think it's racist? I'm serious. Other than he's black, what other reason do they have to protest? He did it. What he did is in full view of anyone seeing the pictures. The reason for the knife was never explained. If he was upset at being pushed, just push back. This is such a sad story for both families.

Raised in a culture where you settle disputes with violence. He is shocked to find out that others think his actions were violent, especially since his victim was unarmed. It was more about being "dissed" by a another guy then it was about self defense. He just learned the hard way that actions have consequences. His first night in prison is going to be hell on earth. I pray that he learns from this and that his siblings don't go down the same path.

Prayers for Austin Metcalf and his family who will have to try and live with this evil act by someone who was probably indoctrinated by his parents and the media (you cannot despise them enough) to see all whites as racist murderers. Any online funding sites should stop any payments to the family and hold that money in trust while the Metcalfs sue the parents of Anthony Karmelo for wrongful death. I would hope that all platforms would take down any funding to those convicted of heinous crimes.

Where else in the United States, within the suburban fringe of a metropolitan statistical area of around 8.4 million people, with its large urban core where white people are in the minority, would Anthony's case have even come to trial, much less concluded with a guilty verdict and a 35 year sentence?

A bombshell House Oversight Committee report released Monday tells a different story. The report, titled "The Cost of Doing Nothing: How Tim Walz and Keith Ellison Fueled Minnesota's Fraud Explosion," concludes that Walz and Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison were aware of credible, systemic fraud in federally funded social programs as early as 2019 and did nothing. Their reasons for inaction weren't legal barriers. They were fear of lawsuits, fear of being called racist, and fear of upsetting the politically active Somali community in Minneapolis, a constituency both men depend on politically.

Do you know who Willis Havilland Carrier is? No? Maybe you should. He’s the engineer who, way back in 1902, invented what we now call air conditioning. His invention has been cooling American houses and businesses ever since. But it’s also done something even more important: Saved hundreds of thousands of lives. Think that’s hyperbole? It isn’t. As America prepares for yet another long, hot summer, most of us will stay indoors to work and relax. Why? When the torrid weather arrives, we simply turn on our air conditioning and immediately feel cool air filling our rooms and making us comfortable. But comfort is a bonus to AC’s real impact: saving lives.
