Harley-Davidson hired a CEO and a Chief Brand Officer that have pushed “woke” initiatives in the past despite the motorcycle company’s vow to backtrack away from such policies.
The companies that Artie Starrs, now Harley-Davidson’s CEO, and Marcus Fischer, now Harley-Davidson’s chief brand officer, previously helped lead strongly promoted diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) policies during their respective tenures, according to conservative activist Robby Starbuck.
Harley-Davidson hired both Starrs and Fischer in 2025, a year after the company said it would change such policies following significant backlash. In 2025, former CEO of Harley-Davidson, Jochen Zeitz, retired after he was accused of pushing a leftist political agenda and overseeing over a decline

The House approved a war powers resolution Wednesday that would halt the US military action against Iran, defying President Donald Trump as a handful of Republicans joined with Democrats to end the three-month-long war that has reordered politics at home and abroad.
House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) had tried to prevent an outcome that would show the mounting opposition to the war, abruptly shutting down floor action two weeks ago when the war powers resolution was on the verge of approval. But displeasure has only grown as the conflict drags on and as Trump struggles to negotiate a quick resolution.
The roll call Wednesday was 215-208,

Mom’s not the word.
New York state Democrats passed a bill to erase words like “mother” and “father” from Family Court Law — in the latest gender-neutral rewriting in the state’s official records.
“Mother” would be replaced with “gestating parent” while “father” becomes “non-gestating parent” and “paternity” proceedings would become “parentage” proceedings under the woke bill that was rammed through both houses of the state legislature this week. A “putative father” in paternity proceedings would now be defined as “an alleged parent” under the bill, which was sponsored by liberals Sen. Luis Sepulveda (D-Bronx) and Assemblywoman Amy Paulin (D-Westchester) and goes to Gov. Kathy Hochul’s desk for approval.

Americans saving for retirement often follow the “buy and hold” strategy, urging them to block out the daily volatility of markets, stick to long-term investment plans, and avoid playing stockbroker. The stock market’s growth over the last 15-20 years proves why that approach makes sense despite financial crises, geopolitical conflict, and fiscal showdowns.
However, laws on the books in most states, if not properly reformed, could jeopardize the retirement nest eggs of those who saved and invested in a responsible manner. What very few Americans know is that their state government may have the legal right to undermine the “buy and hold” approach to saving. If you do not engage with

A man allegedly smuggled an explosive and other items into Sacramento International Airport in California on Saturday.
Federal prosecutors charged Kimani Osayande Jones, also known as Kimani Osayande Jackson, Tuesday with “unlawfully possessing explosive material in an airport,” according to a press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of California. U.S. Attorney Eric Grant announced the charges. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) authorities halted Jones around 9 p.m. while he was passing through a checkpoint to reach an aircraft, according to court documents. The 49-year-old Sacramento resident allegedly wore latex gloves and had covered his face with a scarf.

Even the left-wing Guardian is laughing out loud at Barry Obama’s ugly-a** monument to himself.
“‘Like a Klingon prison’: inside Barack Obama’s audacious, near-windowless, $850m presidential library,” reads the headline, and the mockery doesn’t stop there.
We’re about two weeks away from this Chicago-based monstrosity opening to the public, and the Guardian, which I’m sure the Obama folks expected to be friendly, was not terribly impressed. Here are some highlights from their coverage:
“He might have seemed humble in office, but in his post-presidential, Netflix-producing afterlife, Obama has erected the largest, costliest and most audacious complex of them all,” the report explains. “Behold the $850m Obamalisk – or,

The Democratic nominee to represent New Jersey's Seventh Congressional District in the House of Representatives, Rebecca Bennett, said she "stopped going to church" because she could not sit in a room "full of people who voted for Trump," audio obtained by the Washington Free Beacon shows.
At a campaign event in February, a woman asked Bennett, "I loved hearing you say that you're a patriot, but what are you going to do about that being a right-coded way of presenting yourself?" Bennett responded with a story about how she stopped attending church services because she could not bear to be around people who voted for President Donald Trump.

A crew of Uzbek wannabe mobsters was busted Wednesday for swiping $4.5 million of cigarettes, high-end cheese and other goodies from warehouses across the Northeast — in a scheme straight out of “Goodfellas,” The Post has learned.
Crew leader Murad Khasanov and his cronies allegedly used a modern twist on an old-school mob heist — hacking into computer networks and creating forged invoices to convince warehouse workers to simply hand them the haul without ever needing to point a gun, law enforcement sources said.
When they weren’t hitting the road in trucks full of cigarettes, seafood, pricey cheese, meat and copper wires, Khasanov and his partners allegedly lived the high life

Federal agents, in a daring predawn raid Wednesday, pounced on the opulent, $35 million Newport Beach mansion of an Iranian tech boss charged with supplying US computer hardware to Iran’s military and nuclear programs.
The California Post was there as the FBI arrested Jamshid Ghomi, 63, of Newport Coast, who was charged with conspiracy to violate the International Emergency Economic Powers Act and is expected to appear Wednesday afternoon in Santa Ana federal court.
The businessman, who is a dual citizen of Iran and the US, is accused of selling computer hardware to the Iranian government for use in its military and nuclear operations. Prosecutors allege Ghomi made millions on those deals

The Southern Poverty Law Center paid reluctant white nationalists and Ku Klux Klan members thousands of dollars in donor money to remain in the notorious hate groups — even making them whole for money spent on cross-burnings, the Justice Department alleged in a stunning superseding indictment filed Tuesday.
The feds initially charged the once-venerable civil rights organization in April with 11 counts of wire fraud, false statements to a bank, and money laundering conspiracy. Tuesday’s superseding indictment, filed in Montgomery, Ala., federal court, lays out some of the stories of informants who were paid in money the SPLC raised from donors on the pretext of “exposing hate and injustice” and

New reports say former Rep. George Santos, a Republican from New York, is under investigation for alleged hijinks on prediction markets.
According to CNN, which cited sources it did not name, the Justice Department and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission are taking a look at activity by Santos on the prediction site Kalshi in the context of whether he would appear at the State of the Union address this year.
As recounted by NPR, the saga began in February, when Santos wrote on X one day before the address that he would be attending the speech by President Donald Trump. At the time, NPR noted, millions of dollars’ worth of bets
