For a sense of how bereft the Democrats are of credible leaders and sensible policy ideas all one has to do is listen to the remarks of former Vice President Kamala Harris on the Win with Black Women podcast. She proposed a “no bad ideas brainstorm” in which Democrats would discuss “What we need to do, and think about doing, around the Electoral College … expanding the Supreme Court … statehood for Puerto Rico and D.C.” Harris, whom most polls of Democrat voters show as the front-runner for their party’s 2028 presidential nomination, said this as if offering fresh ideas.

The worst idea to spring forth from Kommielala’s forehead was that her unfortunate step-daughter should be a fashion model. I can’t imagine how much more that girl will be messed up if anchor baby Harris gets elected president.

Communists and their plans should always be taken seriously - while mocked and opposed - but the 'DC Statehood' paranoia seems exactly that.
DC has 61 sq mi of dry land. If it were an actual square it would be 7.8 mi per side, or 13,746 yards per side=114 football fields including end zones long. That is tiny. Even walkable in a day. 'Tiny' Rhode Island has 1,045 sq mi of dry land.
70% of that 61 sq mi is fed property and they aren't giving a blade of grass up. They can't. They won't.
That leaves 18.3 sq mi for the 'state' of DC. 4.3 mi per side. Where are the - deep breath - offices, agencies, motor pools, parks, physical plants, schools, hospitals, universities, police/fire/DNR stations and a thousand other pseudopods of state government going to be housed/located - not least because the land is already occupied?
If the reply is 'It could be as small as the Vatican...their only goals are a seat in the House and two Senators' that's understandable but are 50 existing states regardless of party dominance going to water down their own power?

We make a big mistake when we attribute these 'ideas' to people like Harris, AOC, Mamdani. The intellectual heft to think things through and come up with something coherent, non-trivial and fit for adult consumption is simply not there. They simply parrot what the handlers are programming them with. Even the smooth talking Kenyan is no different.

Here's a thought.
DC and Puerto Rico each maintain their identities. For House and Senate representation, Puerto Rico is included with Florida. DC is divided by the Potomac River to be included with VA or MD.
Did the babe forget to mention the Pacific Islands? Include them with Hawaii.

"Brainstorm"?? Would not even qualify as a passing drizzle. The good thing is that anything drizzling from her so-called brain would be 151 proof, if not higher. Cheers!

Puerto Rico has the right to decide if they want to be a state. It goes back to the 1950's when they became a Commonwealth. DC has no source of income other than the Federal Government. This was by design. Anyway they are no bigger than the average city and should not ne allowed to have two senators.

If ole Kumsalot's two basal Ganglions connected by a spirochete had a synapse she would be dead from self electrocution. Thus we know she didn't have a 'brainstorm' as she is still alive.

"Taxation Without Representation," whine DC license plates. If that's the real issue--- and not more Democrat senators and represnentatives--- then turn the District back to Maryland. Dems already represent the state in Congress. There's your representation, DC.... problem solved!
As for Puerto Rico--- Grand independence, and tell them it was effective last night.

If there are no bad ideas, there is no need for scrutiny. That's how Democrats almost got away with undermining the power of the American people. Remember, corporate/legacy media had no interest in scrutinizing the FBI created "Russia Hoax" nor how Joe Biden with advanced dementia "won" the 2020 election. There was no interest in what was in it for Joe Biden to open our borders to millions of unvetted fake asylum seekers and hardened criminals. Ms. Harris remains a prominent participant in the promotion of bad ideas favored by Democrats, commies, socialists and Marxists. What better way to rig "votes" against American citizens, than by importing people from failed countries hostile to our values and way of life? That Democrats have done this isn't a theory. It is still happening. It's pretty bad when incompetent government allows neighborhoods to burn down, and then denies the victims their right to rebuild what they lost due to blatant incompetence.
