An unborn baby was killed last week in Dallas, Texas, during a gas station shooting. Two illegal aliens were arrested, with at least one who was let into the US during Biden’s term in office. The shooting took place after midnight on May 3rd. Dallas police responded after reports of gunfire and found three victims. One of them was hit numerous times by gunshots. The victims told the police that their car was shot at by the suspects in another vehicle after there was an incident at the local 7-Eleven.

Two Navy EA-18G Growler jets collided mid-air Sunday afternoon during the Gunfighter Skies air show at Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho, sending both crews ejecting and triggering a full lockdown of the military installation. The shocking incident occurred in front of thousands of people who had packed the base for the first major air show there since 2018. Video captured at the scene shows the two aircraft, part of the Navy’s VAQ-129 Growler Demo Team, coming together in close formation before slamming into each other.

There is a desperate pattern emerging in the press regarding FBI Director Kash Patel. There is a growing tendency to see/hear a claim of outlandish behavior involving Patel and then rush to publication without maybe committing a modicum of research or striving to apply calm, rational thought to the matter. (Snip) For the latest, we have Patel allegedly desecrating the site of the Pearl Harbor memorial, the site of the sunken U.S.S. Arizona. Based on the reactions across social media, you are led to believe Patel was in a pool float with zinc oxide on his nose and slamming hurricanes while taking a dip at the historic site.

The U.S. Secret Service seized 14 illegal card skimmers and stopped about $14.5 million of fraud in the Houston area this week. The agency worked with local law enforcement partners as part of a two-day outreach operation targeting illegal payment card skimming and Electronic Benefit Transfer fraud. Law enforcement personnel visited 372 area businesses in Harris County during the operation conducted May 13-14. A total of 3,175 point-of-sale terminals, gas pumps and ATMs were inspected during the operation. “Card skimming threatens the financial security of individuals and families across our community,"

U.S. Republican Rep. Thomas Massie (KY-4) is flailing for his political life in Kentucky’s Fourth Congressional District, and the reason is simple: a growing majority of Republican voters no longer believe he is truly aligned with President Donald Trump and the Make America Great Again movement reshaping the GOP. Into that fight steps Republican candidate Ed Gallrein — retired Navy SEAL officer, farmer, Ranger School graduate, veteran of SEAL Team Six, and now Trump-endorsed challenger to one of Congress’s most infamous turncoats. Ed is no shrinking violet faux-libertarian, and he has staunchly opposed Massie’s efforts to subvert the efforts of President Donald Trump in prosecuting kinetic action against atom-bomb-crazed Iranian mullahs.

Left-wing critics have been regularly accusing the Trump family of profiting off Donald Trump’s presidency, but following his father’s historic trip to China, Eric Trump has decided to litigate to stop the accusations. Trump said Friday he will be suing MSNOW, formerly MSNBC, and host Jen Psaki after she implied on her show that the son taking the trip with his father was a conflict of interest and a chance to exploit a computer chip deal. According to the Hill: Psaki said on her show “The Briefing” that ALT5 Sigma, a Las Vegas-based fintech company for which Eric Trump once served as a board observer,

It's official: Florida's Palm Beach International Airport is now President Donald J. Trump International Airport, and the aviation world is catching up. The rename has been in the works for months, driven by state legislation, federal action, and the straightforward reality that Palm Beach is Trump's home turf — Mar-a-Lago sits just a few miles from the runways. The name change takes effect July 1; the code flips from PBI to DJT on July 9. [Tweet] A final rule in the Federal Register sealed it on May 14. The Florida House passed the renaming bill 81–30, and Gov. Ron DeSantis signed it into law on March 30.

Admittedly, I haven’t been paying much attention to the Los Angeles mayoral race, but a LEGO-animated campaign ad caught my attention, and I just had to write about it. The ad, published this week in support of Spencer Pratt's 2026 campaign for mayor of Los Angeles, is making the rounds online, and for good reason. It's a parody of "Everything Is Awesome" from The Lego Movie, set against a LEGO-animated cityscape that tells the dirty truth about the city under Karen Bass’s leadership. It opens with a scene that cuts straight to the truth: a man assaulting a police officer on a city street.

The Supreme Court delivered a major blow to Democrats in their last-ditch effort to implement a gerrymandered map that would have given them a 10-1 advantage. The Court rejected a motion filed by Virginia Attorney General Jay Jones seeking to overturn the state Supreme Court's decision invalidating the map for violations of the state constitution. Questions about when election day begins were the basis for bringing this case into federal court, since it revolves around a state court ruling on a state constitutional issue. It was a last attempt—and it failed. The application for a stay was officially denied by Chief Justice John Roberts this afternoon.

The resolution, adopted by voice vote, was authored by Republican Senator John Kennedy (LA). “My resolution to stop senators’ pay during government shutdowns cleared a key procedural vote today, moving it one step closer to final passage,” Kennedy said on Wednesday afternoon ahead of the Thursday vote. “Fair-minded Americans know senators should feel the pain of a shutdown with the American people,” Kennedy said. Kennedy’s resolution suspends Senators’ pay during partial or full government shutdowns. “It’s called shared sacrifice,” Kennedy said.

Cuba's communist leaders are facing some tough times. The Cuban people are getting good and tired of no electricity, no decent food, no garbage pickup, and the prospect of a jail term if they complain about any of that, and yet the people are taking to the streets anyway. This has to be making the remnants of the old Castro regime nervous. Also making them nervous is President Trump's removal by force of a key Cuban ally, Venezuelan strongman dictator Nicolás Maduro, and the subsequent shutting off of the Venezuelan oil that was helping keep Cuba's energy economy afloat. Could Cuba's El Presidente Miguel Díaz-Canel and his communist cohorts be thinking

Americans may be paying a hidden “lawsuit tax” through higher insurance premiums and higher prices for everyday goods, as trucking companies face rising litigation costs from staged crashes, massive settlements and “nuclear verdicts.” Industry groups and lawsuit abuse critics told the Daily Caller News Foundation that costs from frivolous lawsuits and rising settlements are being passed down to consumers through elevated insurance premiums, higher transportation costs and inflated prices for everyday goods. They argue those costs are especially hitting the trucking industry, where rising commercial insurance premiums can ripple through freight rates, grocery bills, consumer goods and even personal auto insurance premiums. “Abusive litigation practices against the trucking industry

It’s obvious to me that during the four-year hiatus from the White House occasioned by a stolen election, President Trump gave thoughtful consideration to what had to be cleaned up domestically and internationally. It’s equally clear that he mapped out how he planned to do that, and despite media, congressional and judicial intransigence, he plowed ahead. We are at a point now where the blueprint is now obvious, It’s a continuing, ascending trajectory. Having hoisted Maduro out of Caracas to stand trial here for his crimes, the U.S. made it perfectly obvious that Russian and Chinese security personnel and military equipment were no match for a determined U.S. military.

Back in December, I wrote about a holster protecting a gun from a vehicle fire. That holster, made by Falco, introduced me to the company and the fact that they use heavy-duty leather for many of their offerings. But they also use kydex for some products, which has some advantages, too. Leather is sexier, in my book, but kydex is lighter and thinner. So what do you do? Well, hybrids exist that use both, and Falco has a few already, but in a press release, they announced four more offerings.
