The United States Supreme Court decision in Louisiana v. Callais was good news for Louisiana. However, for other states whose redistricting maps have fallen under the specter of Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, the news is even better. The SCOTUS decision produced a domino effect where other cases that fell under Section 2's umbrella will either end up on the Supreme Court's docket or be recalibrated by SCOTUS and by the lower courts in light of this decision.
The first domino to fall: Alabama.

For a party that screams about 'No Kings,' the Democrats sure seem to have no problem with declaring themselves our de facto kings or — in the case of Jasmine Crockett — queens. Crockett went on the "Sherri" show yesterday, where she lamented the "disrespect" she's received as a black woman, before going on to tell voters she's our superior. (Snip) You know, for me ... I am one of the 535 most powerful people in this country and for some reason, you think we on the same level, but you gonna disrespect me? Like it's not gonna happen."

Here's another Leftist with a high-profile job calling for the death of President Trump. Matt Doogen is reportedly a pilot with United Airlines, and he changed his Facebook cover photo to the "8647," which is known to symbolize killing President Trump. It's why James Comey was just charged by the DOJ, too. [Tweet]
We're sure that Trump supporters fly United. This writer flew United when she traveled to Hawaii in 2024, ironically the day of the first assassination attempt in Butler, PA. [Tweet]
This makes us very uncomfortable. [Tweet]

The ongoing redistricting war has turned into a nightmare for Democrats. The new gerrymandered map of Virginia was blocked last week, and now, on the same day, the Supreme Court has chucked racial gerrymandering and Florida Republicans just passed their new map. And, let’s just say, Democrats aren’t handling it well. In fact, one Florida lawmaker couldn't handle the news without a bullhorn.
The Florida Legislature passed Gov. Ron DeSantis’s new congressional map on Wednesday. The state House approved it 83–28, strictly along party lines, before the Senate followed suit 21–17. DeSantis is expected to sign it, and when he does, Florida's congressional landscape will look dramatically different

Once upon a time, there was a societal pact in this country that, when a depraved lunatic committed an atrocity, no one would breathe a word of his motives, speech, or writings. When Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold kicked off the school shooting craze at Columbine High School in 1999, we didn’t speak of what they thought they were accomplishing. Their so-called basement tapes were never publicly released, and authorities destroyed them in 2011. "Law enforcement officials have always regarded the tapes as a particularly infectious form of toxic waste, a primer in mass murder that could inspire more violence and must never be released,"

The Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, rebuked Representative John Garamendi (D-CA) after he, like others, accused the Trump administration of trapping the United States in another forever war in the Middle East.
Hegseth blasted the congressman for making that claim only two months into a conflict where active combat is no longer occurring, and questioned his judgment and loyalties, as Democrats and others continue to fearmonger about U.S. involvement in Iran. [Tweets, videos]
"When I said reckless, feckless, and defeatist of congressional Democrats at the beginning, that came after watching you say the same thing on CNN this morning, a quagmire," Hegseth told Rep. Garamendi.

National Democrats must be stunned. They need to realize they cannot win a redistricting war with us. We knew from the start: Democrats have already gerrymandered their limited enclaves to death. Now, Florida has officially approved a new congressional map that gives the GOP a boost. It passed easily through the state House and Senate, and now it’s heading to DeSantis’ desk for his signature. [Tweets, videos]
DeSantis was fearless. How he brushed off threats from Democrats, like those from Hakeem Jeffries, aka Temu Obama, was legendary.

In lighter news, the internet was abuzz during the recent White House visit from King Charles III and Queen Camilla of the United Kingdom. Why? Cameras caught the U.S. president getting a little handsy with his wife, Melania. [Tweet]
Of course, it’s not standard protocol for any president to pat his wife’s behind in the middle of an official state visit, in full view of the media and the world, but remember: This is President Donald Trump. He breaks rules like this, and people often love him or hate him for it, and he seems to relish every minute of it.

Just one day after the Supreme Court of Virginia (SCOVA) heard oral arguments about the legality of the legislative process used by Democrat lawmakers to get last week's redistricting/gerrymandering referendum in front of voters, the court on Tuesday shut down efforts by Attorney General Jay Jones to certify the results of that referendum.
At the heart of Tuesday's order was the RNC v. Koski case, which RedState's Jennifer Oliver O'Connell reported on last week.
On Wednesday afternoon, Tazewell Circuit Court Judge Jack Hurley Jr. ruled that Tuesday's referendum is unconstitutional and issued an injunction preventing the certification of the election maps.

There is a pattern now. Not an accident. Not a coincidence. A pattern.
Say something reckless, watch the temperature rise, act surprised when something breaks—and then, because apparently nothing was learned, do it again.
If that sounds harsh, just look at what happened this week.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said something that shouldn’t even be controversial: rhetoric matters. When people in positions of power constantly frame their opponents as existential threats or enemies, they aren’t calming anything down. They’re pouring fuel on it. That’s just reality.
But instead of taking the hint—maybe dialing things back even a notch—House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries went the other direction entirely. He leaned in.

In their attempt to get President Donald Trump killed, Democrats are hitting zero. You might think that’s a glib way to put it, but how else can you explain the repeated attempts to inspire someone to kill the president and the deflated “we have to condemn all political violence” that inevitably follows? It’s performance art – they have to pretend to be shocked that someone acted on what they’d been openly hinting they’d like to have happen, because otherwise the next person might not be inspired by their rhetoric to pick up the mantle and try to finish the job.
I realize I’m a cynical person – always have been,

Greg Gutfeld absolutely nailed it when he talked about Cole Allen, the suspect arrested for the third failed assassination attempt on President Trump.
Allen's manifesto made it very clear that he was targeting the President and members of his Cabinet. Despite the Left insisting there isn't violent rhetoric coming from their side, it's a problem.
And Greg Gutfeld spelled it out perfectly. [Tweet, video] (Snip) "I disagree with Jessie. This guy did hear voices. They were Tim Walz's, they were Ted Lieu's, they were Brandon Johnson's, they were CNN's, they were 'The View,' they were MS NOW,"
Comments:
At the very least, he should be grounded until his intentions are known!!
