Justice Clarence Thomas: Progressivism
Seeks To Replace The Basic Premises Of

SUPREME COURT ASSOCIATE JUSTICE CLARENCE THOMAS: The Constitution is the means of government; it is the Declaration that announces the ends of government. The Constitution achieves this purpose by protecting our natural rights and liberties from concentrated power and excessive democracy. Our Constitution creates a separation of powers and federalism—truly for the first time in modern history—to prevent the government from becoming so strong that it threatens our natural rights. Federalist No. 10 proposed the idea that the great threat to our rights comes from majority faction.Human history teaches us, alas, that numerical majorities frequently seek to control government, and use the state to violate the rights of the minority.

i watched the Thomas presentation at the University of Texas - it was great, offered by my hero. And the Q and A was even better. Thomas is one of the great minds ever. ever My only disappointment was when he failed to cite Sweat v. Texas in the separate but equal discussion or presentation. I suggest to my friends here that if they have not seen the CSPAN tape,, watch it. You will gain an understanding of the evils of Woodrow Wilson, and of progressivenism.b

A Must Read. FTA - "The European system that Wilson and the progressives scolded Americans for not adopting, which he called nearly perfect, led to the governments that caused the most awful century that the world has ever seen. Stalin, Hitler, Mussolini, and Mao all were intertwined with the rise of progressivism, and all were opposed to the natural rights on which our Declaration was based." Something that Justice Thomas and President Trump have in common - they are both right all the time. Long live these great Americans.

I very much like SCJ Thomas. He's practically the only one who looks to and cites the history of the Constitution quite often. He's truly an "Originalist" who "walks the talk," and educates us all along the way. It's difficult to imagine a Supreme Court without him. I pray thanks unto God for this man.

Once again, Clarence Thomas cuts through all the fatuous rhetoric of the socialists and Communists in our midst, to remind us of the brilliance of the Founding Fathers and his own wisdom. Unlike the foolish KBJ, when Thomas speaks, you’d better listen.

Why do people call it progressivism? It isn’t. It is neo-feudalism. It is a reversion to rule by Devine Right - in this case, the Devine are self-appointed, or approved acolytes of the new kings. Remember, you will own nothing. That’s not a statement of convenience; it’s a reestablishment of the landless class - peasants and serfs.

one of the most brilliant things i've ever read. And I go further than the Justice does here, recalling that socialism wants to mock human dignity and drag God down from Heaven, not because He or we are in the way, rather than fighting Him is their true organizing principle. Anything that smells of Him must go, which includes merits as He grants it, heritage because the debt ancestors is secured by His commandment, reason as His gift. So socialism rightly sees all these criteria as enemy territory. Instead: unmerited power granted to ideally rootless people who hold guns and have no case for what they do. still... "oh morning, at the brown brink eastward springs, because the Holy Ghost over the the bent world broods ... "

Before he was an accused rapist, Eric Swalwell was a Democratic golden boy who rose to some of the most influential roles in Washington over his 13 year career in Congress. With the help of Rep. Nancy Pelosi and other powerful allies, Swalwell won key appointments at congressional committees and made a name for himself as a leading Democrat fighting against the Trump administration. Swalwell now stands accused by five women of sexual misconduct, such as sending nudes and non-consensual touching. Two of them alleged rape, including revelations made Tuesday that Swalwell allegedly drugged and raped a model in a hotel room in 2018.

Late last night (midnight) the House members were called back to session in order to vote on a procedural rule to facilitate a negotiated FISA(702) extension. The advancement vote failed to pass the House (200-220) collapsing the bill, which is not a bad outcome all things considered. House Republican leaders posted a compromise FISA amendment just before 11 p.m., and then called the House members to vote. The Amendment would have extended FISA (702) for five years and did include language that would have strengthened criminal penalties for misuse of the program, and some language that would have required warrants under certain circumstances.

The Democrat-led Ukraine impeachment effort of 2019 was linked to and a continuation of the Russiagate saga and of the failed effort by special counsel Robert Mueller to unearth criminality by President Donald Trump, newly-declassified documents and testimony indicate. Memos declassified by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and released by Just the News on Sunday were written by investigators for intelligence community inspector general Michael Atkinson, who first handled the CIA analyst's complaint. Gabbard also declassified long-secret transcribed interviews from the watchdog, and these, combined with the memos, provide further evidence that the Ukraine impeachment saga was a continuation of the Russiagate saga which had flamed out.

Two months later, the body run by Republican Senate Majority Leader John Thune, R-S.D., has not complied, slowing a key angle of a grand jury investigation based in Fort Pierce, Fla., into whether Obama and Biden-era government officials engaged in a conspiracy —

Which is why new federal action that kills the requirement is cause for celebration. The “feature,” which is the wrong word for what’s truly a nuisance, automatically shuts off a car’s internal-combustion engine when it is idling at a red light or stuck in traffic. It restarts the engine when either the foot comes off the brake pedal or the accelerator is pressed.
