SUPREME COURT ASSOCIATE JUSTICE CLARENCE THOMAS: The Constitution is the means of government; it is the Declaration that announces the ends of government. The Constitution achieves this purpose by protecting our natural rights and liberties from concentrated power and excessive democracy. Our Constitution creates a separation of powers and federalism—truly for the first time in modern history—to prevent the government from becoming so strong that it threatens our natural rights. Federalist No. 10 proposed the idea that the great threat to our rights comes from majority faction.Human history teaches us, alas, that numerical majorities frequently seek to control government, and use the state to violate the rights of the minority.

i watched the Thomas presentation at the University
of Texas - it was great, offered by my hero.
And the Q and A was even better.
Thomas is one of the great minds ever. ever
My only disappointment was when he failed to cite Sweat v. Texas in the separate but equal discussion or presentation.
I suggest to my friends here that if they have not seen the CSPAN tape,, watch it. You will gain an understanding of the evils of Woodrow Wilson, and of progressivenism.b

A Must Read.
FTA - "The European system that Wilson and the progressives scolded Americans for not adopting, which he called nearly perfect, led to the governments that caused the most awful century that the world has ever seen. Stalin, Hitler, Mussolini, and Mao all were intertwined with the rise of progressivism, and all were opposed to the natural rights on which our Declaration was based."
Something that Justice Thomas and President Trump have in common - they are both right all the time. Long live these great Americans.

I very much like SCJ Thomas. He's practically the only one who looks to and cites the history of the Constitution quite often. He's truly an "Originalist" who "walks the talk," and educates us all along the way. It's difficult to imagine a Supreme Court without him. I pray thanks unto God for this man.

What is truly amazing to me is to watch the Brilliance of this black man and compare it to the absolute Stupidity of Justice Brown-Jackson a black woman who hasn't got a clue.
It is the difference between a clear thinking humanist and a bigoted racist.

Justice Thomas is a national treasure.
His words in this short essay serve as the Rosetta Stone of any coherent plan to restore government, especially the US Government, to its rightful scope.

Once again, Clarence Thomas cuts through all the fatuous rhetoric of the socialists and Communists in our midst, to remind us of the brilliance of the Founding Fathers and his own wisdom. Unlike the foolish KBJ, when Thomas speaks, you’d better listen.

Why do people call it progressivism?
It isn’t.
It is neo-feudalism. It is a reversion to rule by Devine Right - in this case, the Devine are self-appointed, or approved acolytes of the new kings. Remember, you will own nothing. That’s not a statement of convenience; it’s a reestablishment of the landless class - peasants and serfs.

one of the most brilliant things i've ever read. And I go further than the Justice does here, recalling that socialism wants to mock human dignity and drag God down from Heaven, not because He or we are in the way, rather than fighting Him is their true organizing principle. Anything that smells of Him must go, which includes merits as He grants it, heritage because the debt ancestors is secured by His commandment, reason as His gift. So socialism rightly sees all these criteria as enemy territory. Instead: unmerited power granted to ideally rootless people who hold guns and have no case for what they do. still... "oh morning, at the brown brink eastward springs, because the Holy Ghost over the the bent world broods ... "
