Forget the excuse of being and anti ICE protests. This boils down to a first amendment right of the freedom to worship as you please. Freedom to assemble with who you want. Her Instagram name redw.itch333 should indicate what she thinks of Christian religions. This is an attack on those who practice Christianity.

I agree, there seems to be plenty of cause. Although the charges were weak. Failure to obey a lawful order, disturbing the peace, I'd even cite assault; there was at least one churchgoer who felt threatened. If the police won't do their job and the judges cannot do justice, where is a man to turn for quiet enjoyment and peaceful assembly, and freedom to worship? One wonders. The church and its members do have a cause of action in a civil court. But that doesn't change the criminal undertow of this.

Reverse of a camel getting its nose under the edge of the tent. This character was released because he didn't disrupt the church services by entering the church - therefore no probable cause to arrest him. Wanna bet the character was not a "cheerleader" cheering from the sidewalk? Probably organized the whole show.

A St. Paul woman has filed a federal civil lawsuit against eight anti-ICE activists, alleging they conspired to storm Cities Church during a Sunday service, frighten congregants, block access points, and intentionally disrupt religious worship. Ann Doucette, who filed the complaint on her own behalf in U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota on Feb. 23, claims the defendants carried out a coordinated operation on Jan. 18 at Cities Church because they believed one of the pastors works for ICE.

Most serious opinion, however, has now settled on the “Where is everybody?” paradox first framed by the physicist Enrico Fermi in 1950. According to several reports, the Department of Homeland Security is hiring a litany of private contractors and giving them the names of thousands of migrants. The contractors are then using artificial intelligence to find the migrants. The process of using AI, public records, databases, online information and surveillance is called “skip tracing.” It’s been used by debt collectors, bail bondsmen and private investigators for years. But reports say DHS is paying private companies billions of dollars to use this process to find migrants for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement
