USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins sent Easter
email to staff touting ‘Jesus’ and ‘God’

Original Article

U.S. Department of Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins sent USDA staff an Easter email that emphasized the story of Jesus being crucified and resurrected, a message that some Christians said alienated them for its overt religiosity. “Happy Easter — He is Risen indeed,” Rollins wrote in the email sent on Good Friday, which CNBC has reviewed and was first to report. “From the foot of the Cross on Good Friday to the stone rolled away from the now empty tomb, sin has been destroyed,” Rollins wrote.

Comments:

I guess these lunatics think that the Holiday celebrates a bunny and colored eggs. The left are truly without any knowledge of the historical place Christianity and prayer has played since the founding of this country.

Cabinet secretaries also have free speech. Brooke Rollins was already my favorite Cabinet member, anyway.

CNBC reports that they were the first to report on an email that went to a bunch of people telling them about a nationally celebrated holiday that we’ve celebrated for a couple of centuries now. Slow news cycle I guess..

Can someone (please!) show the liberal lunatics the 1st Amendment to the Constitution. It says that Congress shall make no law establishing a national religion, nor preventing the free exercise thereof. That's it. The "Separation of Church and State" comes from Thomas Jefferson's personal interpretation of the 1st Amendment.

Carefully examine all our Founding Documents - the Declaration of Independence, the US Constitution, the Bill of Rights. Even the Federalist Papers. Do you see the words "separation of church and State" anywhere?

"...a message that some Christians said alienated them for its overt religiosity," and "A USDA staffer who spoke to CNBC said the email was offensive to them as a devout Christian" If you're alienated/offended by the resurrection, calling yourself a Christian might be a bit of a stretch and calling yourself a "devout" Christian is simply appalling.

And? I guess the heathens at CNBC don't know that Easter is about the risen Christ, Jesus Lord of All and his redemptive work on the cross and in the tomb, His breaking the power of death and Hell, setting the captives of all the ages free, and then His rising from the grave so that all mankind can be the Chosen People of God, aka Christians.

Those Leftists that are complaining..... send 'em a WAAAAAMbulance! Seriously, this is just today's example of the constant BULLYING from the Leftsts. They believe that by screaming, complaining, and trying to make life uncomfortable for people expressing things that don't Toe the Leftist Line, they can get those people be quiet and go away, just to avoid the unpleasantness. Take this another step, to prominent Conservatives or Republicans (as that nasty broad Mad Maxine urged her followers to do) being hounded and harassed while dining in a restaurant. It's all part of the Leftist's Politics of Personal Destruction Take it another step, with people being jailed for saying 'All Lives Matter' instead of (only) Black Lives Matter. (In that case, tell me which lives DO NOT matter!) Finally, fire people and put them in Prison for not going along with the Tranny nonsense that 'Some men can have babies', and that some biological males are actually "Women" and belong on Women's sports teams and in the Women's locker and shower rooms. It's all part of the LEFTIST BULLYING SPECTRUM.

The following Scriptures show that the great apostasy had already begun in the days of the 1st century church of our Lord. This article is clear evidence that it continues today. But the apostles taught that there is only one Gospel. — “I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be [b]accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.” ( Romans 1:6-9) • Some will be offended by the teachings of Jesus. — “And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.” (Matthew 24:10) • Some will teach man’s tradition rather than Christ. — “Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.” (Colossians 2:8) • Some Christians will not tolerate sound doctrine. — “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers;” (2 Timothy 4:3) • Following teachers who say only what people want to hear. (2 Timothy 4:3) • Religious authorities will forbid teaching in the name of Jesus. — “So they called them and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.” (Acts 4:18) • Some will exchange the truth of God for a lie. — “Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.” (Romans 1:24-25) • Some will sympathize with sinful lifestyles. — “Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things. But we know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things.” (Romans 2:1-2) • Some will have a form of godliness but deny its power. — “having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!” (2 Timothy 3:5) • Some will suppose godliness is a means of wealth. — “useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself.” (1 Timothy 6:5) • Some will be neither hot or cold, but lukewarm. — “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.” Revelation 3:15-16) “Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God.” (Hebrews 3:12)

A Biden-appointed federal judge blocked the Trump administration from ending temporary amnesty for thousands of Ethiopian nationals in the U.S. since 2022. In a ruling on Wednesday, U.S. District Judge Brian Murphy described the Trump administration’s “termination” of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) amnesty for Ethiopian nationals as “unsurprising in light” of President Donald Trump’s executive order, Reuters reported. Murphy also noted that “the will of the President does not supersede that of Congress.” “Fundamental to this case—and indeed to our constitutional system—is the principle that the will of the President does not supersede that of Congress,” Murphy said. “Presidential whims do not and cannot supplant agencies’ statutory obligations.”

Democratic New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani has introduced a “racial equity plan” directing city resources to “black and brown New Yorkers” in an attempt to “confront institutional and systemic racism within our city.” The mayor’s policy proposal targets housing, health, and economic opportunities, and seeks to address disparities by prioritizing neighborhoods and residents that have supposedly been historically marginalized by economic or structural factors. Mamdani’s Preliminary Citywide Racial Equity Plan and True Cost of Living Measure prompted a warning from U.S. Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon, who called the measure “fishy” and promised to take a closer look at its legality under current civil rights laws.

Mothers and fathers die. For the population to remain constant, the two of them need to produce about 2.1 children on average in order to replace themselves. (The extra 0.1 is necessary to offset the deaths of children who never reach reproductive age.) This figure is called the “fertility rate.” Recent data shows that the fertility rate in the United States is nowhere near that 2.1 figure. It has instead dropped to an all-time low of about 1.6. American woman on average give birth to only 1.6 children.

Hamas remains fully committed to jihad (holy war) and rejects disarmament. The "Board of Peace" is therefore confronting a harsh reality: Hamas, like Iran, is not motivated by deadlines, incentives, or promises of reconstruction. It is motivated by ideology and by war. In Hamas's worldview, the war is not about the Gaza Strip. It is about reshaping the Middle East -- and beyond -- in its own image. Any policy based on the assumption that Hamas can be persuaded to disarm is simply detached from reality. The danger is that this rhetoric is designed to inflame public opinion in Arab and Islamic countries against their own governments,

Now that President Trump has shut down the border and stopped the flow of new people into blue cities and states, they are not able to maintain their population levels as people flee to better places like Texas and Florida. With smaller populations, these cities and states are going to lose significant electoral power in the present, but even more so in the future. Long term, this is a disaster for them and that is the source for much of their rage. The left tries to frame their anti-ICE protests as a humanitarian issue but it has nothing to do with that.

State legislators are advancing “American Laws for American Courts” (ALAC) and related measures. These laws attempt to keep the U.S. and state constitutions as the sole legal authorities. The message to Americans is clear: no foreign codes and no parallel tribunals. This effort addresses real risks in family law, contracts, child custody, arbitration, and other legal conflicts. These laws are not instance of intolerance or fearmongering; Sharia principles have clashed with constitutional rights in our nation, and these laws will help prevent such clashes in the future.

The world breathed a sigh of relief Tuesday night on news of a cease-fire in the Iran war, but this is certainly no time for President Donald Trump to go wobbly. If he can’t work out a comprehensive deal to end the Iran threat for good, he needs to get the jets back in the air over Iran pronto — and let the bombs drop. If not, he does risk that TACO label. Trump saw enough hope for a peace deal — and an “immediate” opening of the Strait of Hormuz — to hold off, for now, on the enormous additional devastation he threatened to inflict on the Iranian regime. Fine.
