Two Colorado Democrats have proposed legislation that would crack down on restaurants’ abilities to provide complimentary napkins, utensils and condiments to customers, in the name of protecting the environment.
Bill SB26-146 would ban “a retail food establishment or third-party food delivery service from providing single-use food serviceware to a customer” unless the customer requested or confirms he or she wanted it, according to the bill’s text. Democratic Colorado State Sen. Lisa Cutter and Democratic Colorado State Rep. Meg Froelich introduced the legislation on March 24 and, if passed, will go into effect at the start of 2027.

On Thursday, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy confirmed to reporters that 17,000 non-English-speaking truck drivers have been removed from the road due to new administration rules. However, ride-share services like Uber and Lyft, along with taxis, still contract non-English-speaking drivers. According to Duffy, that's a trickier problem to solve.
“The problem is that our states are the ones that issue these licenses. So with commercial driver’s licenses, we do have some federal control," Duffy said Thursday during a Cabinet meeting, emphasizing that the work the administration has been able to do with Commercial Drivers Licenses (CDLs) differs from what their abilities are with state-administered drivers' licenses.

Uncle Sam needs you to help crush the billion-dollar health care fraud gangs.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent is launching a new program on Monday that will reward tipsters with up to 30% of fines imposed on criminals who are trying to bleed Medicare and Medicaid dry, The Post has learned.

Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director Kash Patel wants officials to release investigative files regarding Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) and the female Chinese spy known as Christine Fang, or “Fang Fang,” according to reports.
The Hill on Saturday cited reports from the New York Times and the Washington Post, the news coming after Breitbart News in 2021 confirmed the U.S. Intelligence Community had a classified report that included “intricate and intimate” details about the relationship between Swalwell and the spy.
The Hill article said:

The Daily Caller publicized an Islamic housing development in Texas that was of grave concern to residents. The outlet got action, but it’s only a good start. The housing development was canceled for now, but it’s not the only problem. Texas, like Florida, New York, Utah, South Carolina, and North Carolina, is experiencing a similar threat.
Attorney General Ken Paxton wrote, In early February 2026, residents raised concerns about a foreign-based development company’s plan to purchase thousands of acres near Kaufman, Texas. The developers’ plan to create a “sustainable city” capable of housing as many as 20,000 foreign nationals alarmed the surrounding communities.

At 87 years old, California Rep. Maxine Waters isn’t just part of the Democratic gerontocracy the party is trying to fight against — she’s arguably its most visible face.
Thus, approaching the 2026 election, you’d think that she’d be considering retiring — and if not that, at least scaling back her role a bit. Pulling a Pelosi, if you will: take it a bit easy and let your stock portfolio do the work for you.
But, no. Not only does crazy old Auntie Maxine plan on running for her 19th term in office — which she’ll almost certainly succeed at, given her name recognition and how blue her district is

Connecticut Democrat Sen. Chris Murphy openly admitted that the people his party cares about “the most” are illegal aliens, in an interview clip from 2024 that resurfaced this week. Democrats have filibustered to prevent funding for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) over their objections to immigration enforcement operations, leading to a partial shutdown of the Cabinet department.
The lawmakers are demanding new restrictions be placed on United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) after the fatal shootings of Alex Pretti and Renee Nicole Good in January during clashes with “rapid response groups” opposed to federal immigration enforcement operations. In the resurfaced clip that went viral

Parents of more than four million children have claimed Trump Accounts, according to a report.
The tax-deferred investment accounts for children were instituted by President Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill Act last year, providing a $1,000 contribution from the federal government for all children born to U.S. citizens between Jan. 1, 2025, and Dec. 31, 2028, the Washington Examiner reported.
Parents can claim the accounts for their children either through an IRS portal or by filing Form 4547 with their federal tax returns. Per IRS data reviewed by the news outlet, 983,784 children have qualified for the $1,000 bonus via Form 4547 through Wednesday.

A Texas man was sentenced Wednesday to over 12 years in prison and two years of supervised release for organizing and leading a $61.5 million health care fraud and wire fraud conspiracy in which thousands of Medicare beneficiaries who were the victims of deceptive telemarketing were sent thousands of orthotic braces, foot baths, and genetic tests they did not need. According to court documents and evidence presented at trial, Robert “Bobby” Leon Smith III, 50, of Archer City, Texas, owned and operated seven durable medical equipment supply companies based in Florida, Texas, and Maryland through which he submitted millions of dollars in false claims to Medicare for orthotic braces and

Immigration hard-liners are taking aim at rules that protect foreign-born U.S. citizens from deportation even if they become terrorists.
Naturalized citizens committed three suspected terrorist attacks in Texas, Michigan and Virginia in a two-week timeframe after the U.S. went to war with Iran’s Islamic regime in February. Other naturalized citizens caught plotting terrorist attacks have been released or are due for release back onto America’s streets, according to Department of Justice (DOJ), court and prison records.
Despite the jihadists’ crimes and increasing calls to expand denaturalizations, shredding their coveted status as American citizens is easier said than done; the system is unlikely to change without Congress passing contentious GOP-backed legislation.

The Artemis II astronauts flew to the Kennedy Space Center Friday to prepare for the scheduled April 1 launch that will take them on a nearly 700,000-mile voyage around the moon and back, the first crew to leave Earth orbit since the final Apollo mission a half century ago.
Artemis II commander Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch and Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen made the trip to Florida from the Johnson Space Center in Houston aboard sleek T-38 jets, setting down on the spaceport's three-mile-long runway around 2:10 p.m. Eastern Time. "Hey, let's go to the moon!" exclaimed Wiseman, pumping his fists on the runway.
