Introducing Schrödinger's Ayatollah

Original Article

Schrödinger's Cat is both (or is it neither?) alive and/or dead, but exists in an undetermined state inside a closed box along with a single radioactive atom, a Geiger counter, a hammer, and a vial of poison gas, because there's nothing weirder than a bored physicist. The point of Erwin Schrödinger's Gedankenexperiment (thought experiment) was to highlight the absurdity of quantum superposition, where subatomic particles can exist in multiple states at once until measured by conscious human beings. The radioactive element might (or might not) decay at any given moment, activating the Geiger counter that's rigged to a hammer that smashes the vial filled with cyanide gas.

He doesn't have to be alive to be useful. As long as his followers believe he is alive and controlling things, they will have faith that Allah will prevail over the Great Satan(s) and they will win, even if they die individually as martyrs. The fighting in Iran has not yet started. Everything we have done up until now is a prelude to the real fighting, which will be done hand-to-hand on the streets in Iran. All we are trying to do is make it slightly fairer by weakening the armed IRGC Basif militia. The rules of engagement will be based on natural selection. The Truth of who is good and who is evil will be based on which side survives.

All I know is that the kid doesn't have to bother with reading the documentation on the Iranian Ayotollah Pension Plan. He probably won't be around long enough to collect it.

Is This the Real Reason Democrats Aren't

On Monday night, Scott Jennings asked a simple question to a CNN panel, and it got me thinking. And what I thought about was quite disturbing. The Department of Homeland Security has been shut down since Presidents' Day weekend. Democrats triggered it, and they've kept it going as a pressure campaign against the Trump administration's deportation agenda, specifically to hamstring Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and use that as a cudgel to force policy changes in enforcement, most of which are absurd. The Senate voted three separate times on DHS funding bills, and each time, Democrats blocked them — every single one, with the lone exception of Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.).

Back in February, the U.K. said dogs were an obstacle to its latest diversity scheme, namely turning the "too white" English countryside into a more "diverse" (read: Islamic) place to live. Not long after, a Muslim in New York said she was glad the city was "coming to Islam" when it came to dogs. Islam believes dogs are filthy and they're haram in many places, of course. But people in the West love their dogs, and the pet industry in the U.K. makes over £10 billion. In the U.S., that figure is $157 billion for 2025. Most of that is driven by dog ownership, so of course the politicians can't come

Political commentator Meghan McCain has built a career that began with a powerful advantage: her last name. The daughter of late Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), stepped into the national political conversation for decades because of her father's legacy. Meghan McCain never hid that connection, and she's defended her father's record with fierce loyalty since he died in 2018. Despite my thoughts about Meghan, her loyalty deserves respect; a daughter defending her father is hardly controversial, while she protects what she believes was an honorable legacy tied to her father's military service and Senate career. McCain, however, found his political decisions drifted away from conservative principles

Jesse Jackson's funeral was held Friday at the House of Hope on Chicago's South Side. Every major Democrat who still matters showed up: Joe Biden, Bill Clinton, Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton, Jill Biden, California Gov. Gavin Newsom. That’s right: sitting with a bunch of other couples, Barack Obama once again went stag. The Obamas themselves issued a joint statement about Jackson's death that made Michelle's absence on Friday all the more glaring. "Michelle got her first glimpse of political organizing at the Jacksons' kitchen table when she was a teenager," the statement read. "And in his two historic runs for president, he laid the foundation for my own campaign

We have been following the progress of the proposed tax on the wealth of billionaires that theatens to make its way onto the ballot in Callifornia this November. It represents a bald form of “the danger of democratic theft” that John and I discussed in our 2005 essay on the income tax: "Given that poorer citizens always outnumber the rich, political philosophers have long worried that government based on majority rule could lead to organized theft from the wealthy by the democratic masses. “If the majority distributes among itself the things of a minority, it is evident that it will destroy the city,” warns Aristotle. The U.S. and Israel launched a joint attack nicknamed both "Epic Fury" (U.S.) and "Roaring Lion" (Israel), Feb 28, 2026, shattering targets across Iran. In the smoking aftermath of this devastating daylight assault on Iran, evaporating infrastructure and leadership alike, consider one thing. Before lashing out at the “unfairness” of our tag-team beatdown, please consider the inner logic of Iran’s need for a wholesale destruction. The cold facts are that Iran absolutely had to be taken out because of their murderous theology. This is undeniable -- a conclusion based upon the prophecies of the warrior messiah Mahdi. See below! This original essay of June 26, 2025, detailed how the Muslim religious

Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men. And, weak men create hard times.” G. Michael Hopf, Those Who Remain Like most red-blooded American men, I think about sex and the Roman Empire numerous times every day. In recent years, I’ve added the above quote to that set. As I think back, the different elements of it were probably floating around in some amorphous, uncoordinated morass in the back of my mind for years, never bothering to coalesce. No doubt the reason they didn’t is that for most of my life, America was enjoying the “Good times.” Good doesn’t mean perfect, of course. For the first

In the quest to transform our energy systems, policymakers often promise a magical alchemy: turn away from reliable but "dirty" sources like coal, oil, and even nuclear, and replace them with abundant, cheap green energy. New York State has been a laboratory for this experiment since the early 2000s, aggressively phasing out fossil fuels and nuclear plants under the banner of environmental virtue. The result? Skyrocketing electricity bills for residents, even as overall consumption has declined. New York's experience offers a stark warning: green dreams can turn into economic nightmares when they ignore basic math and reality. Back in 2007, New York generated about 150 terawatt-hours (TWh) of electricity in-state.

Let’s get real about what this latest iteration of the until-now endless Iran War is all about. There’s no imminent threat. That assertion is a pacifier to the weak-kneed and timid. Last June, we set the mullahs back years in their quest for nukes. They have a metric butt-load of ballistic missiles, rockets, and drones, but they weren’t going to fire them off unless we attacked them. After seeing Sulemani turned into sushi, and their nuclear weapons program neutered like a Bulwark job applicant in one fell swoop, they weren’t about to restart throwing fists as long as Donald Trump was in the White House. It was a precise decapitation strike. The initial phase of Operation Epic Fury targeted Iran’s top political and military figures and achieved its goal. Their key leaders are now gone, including the core of their military command. In essence, anyone not deterred by our threats to stop their nuclear ambitions is eliminated. The most significant target was Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, whom Israel was able to eliminate last weekend when this US-Israeli military operation began. They used the Blue Sparrow missile, which was able to rain hellfire from the heavens—literally. The missile seeks its target from space (via NY Post):

The ship was the IRIS Dena, a1,500-ton Moudge-class frigate. This class of ship was armed with surface-to-air missiles, a quick-firing 76mm cannon, torpedoes, and surface attack missiles housed in vertical launch cells. IRIS Dena had been on the subcontinent since February 18, first participating in the International Fleet Review 2026 held at the Indian port of Visakhapatnam. This event was followed by participation in the annual Indian-sponsored Milan naval exercise.

Rev. Jesse Jackson’s son ripped former Presidents Joe Biden, Barack Obama and Bill Clinton for using the late civil rights icon’s memorial service to take shots at President Trump. Jesse Jackson Jr. said the grandstanding Democrats didn’t really know his father, after they used their eulogies to bash the president, his policies, and his vision for America during Friday’s star-studded send-off. “Yesterday, I listened for several hours to three United States presidents who do not know Jesse Jackson,” the grieving son said Saturday during a private memorial service at Rainbow Push Coalition headquarters in Chicago. He maintained a tense relationship with the political order, not because the presidents were white or black,

Iran sent out a possible “operational trigger” to activate “sleeper assets” abroad after the war with America and Israel began, according to an encrypted message intercepted by the US. The coded signal was sent out following the death of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei on Feb. 28, with the message appearing to hold instructions for “covert operatives or sleeper assets,” ABC News reported, citing a federal alert sent to law enforcement agencies. The message could “be intended to activate or provide instructions to prepositioned sleeper assets operating outside the originating country,” the alert warned.

The FBI is expanding its criminal probe into suspected election irregularities, secretly obtaining a large tranche of voting records from Arizona’s largest county with a recent grand jury subpoena, multiple people familiar with the probe told Just the News. The sources, who spoke only on condition of anonymity because of the secrecy of the grand jury probe, said FBI agents are receiving gigabytes of electronic election data from Maricopa County, about a month after the bureau first disclosed an investigation into election irregularities by raiding a warehouse near Atlanta and seizing ballots from the 2020 election conducted in Fulton County, Georgia’s largest metropolis.

It's saddening what is becoming of the once-Great Britain. While American and Israeli forces are resolving a 47-year-old problem by the suitable application of high explosives, while the United States literally flew into a hostile, totalitarian South American regime in the middle of the night and nabbed their thug-dictator who was wanted by the American justice system, the British Army is debating whether soldiers - male soldiers, mind you - should be allowed to style their hair, and to wear makeup and fingernail polish. The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced a new policy that would ban foreign nationals and non-citizens from accessing its loan services — a continuation of efforts to refocus federal resources to ventures that align with American prioritization. "The Trump SBA is committed to driving economic growth and job creation for American citizens," SBA Administrator Kelly Loeffler said in a statement on Friday. The requirement will apply to its Surety Bond and Microloan programs and is an expansion of changes made in February to the SBA’s 504 and 7(a) programs — loans for small businesses looking to finance working capital, equipment or acquisitions.
