A number of U.S. representatives like to be driven in style, billing taxpayers tens of thousands of dollars for limo service from their office accounts, an investigation by The Center Square found. Six U.S. representatives charged taxpayers nearly $30,000 to hire chauffeured limousines in the latest twelve months for which figures are available. Since January 2019, U.S. representatives spent more than $160,000 out of their office accounts with companies that had the word limo or limousine in their name, according to figures come from the U.S. House’s quarterly disbursement reports. U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters, a California Democrat, spent the most on limo services, according to the data.

An effort by Senate Democrats to put their prerogatives ahead of Middle East peace was defeated Wednesday night.
The war powers resolution failed 47-53, according to the Associated Press.
Although the vote was largely along party lines, Republican Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky voted in favor of the resolution to tie President Donald Trump’s hands, while Democratic Sen. Federal prosecutors in U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro's office are dropping a criminal probe into whether former President Joe Biden and his aides unlawfully used an autopen to issue pardons, a person briefed on the matter told CBS News.
Two sources confirmed the existence of the probe, with one telling CBS News that the matter has since been closed because prosecutors were never able to find a legal hook to be able to pursue the matter further. CBS News has not determined precisely when the case ended.

Jasmine Crockett in the Democrat primary for U.S. Senate on Tuesday, overturning weeks of polling that had shown the Dallas congresswoman with a significant advantage in the race to determine the party’s nominee in the 2026 contest for the seat currently held by Republican Sen. John Cornyn.
Recent polling ahead of the March 3 primary showed Crockett leading. Texas DeceptiCON Dan Crenshaw, aka “one-eyed McCain”, a man of notoriously arrogant and intemperate disposition, has lost the Texas CD02 primary race to Steve Toth. Mr Toth won 56% of the primary vote, so there will not be a runoff.
At the conclusion of this year, the perpetually horrible Dan Crenshaw will no longer be a congressman.
