Operations are still underway over and around Iran on Sunday, and the United States and Israel are well on their way to not only owning the skies over Iran, but the waters around it. On that morning, President Trump took to his Truth Social account to inform us that at least nine Iranian navy craft have now found new berths at the bottom of the ocean. [Tweet] The president wrote: I have just been informed that we have destroyed and sunk 9 Iranian Naval Ships, some of them relatively large and important. We are going after the rest —

Unfortunately, "sunk at the pier" means relatively easy refloating and refitting. Sinking in deep water, far from land is much harder to undo. Of course, how much damage was done from explosion and fire? That may make repair impractical.

Gotta love Trump's comment. The US is dismantling Iran's ability to apply force to the level that they would not be able to recover for decades. Consider that their resistance has been impotent so they have been a paper tiger before this started. They have rapidly become a laughing stock. All bark and no bite. And now, most of their barking leaders are toast as well.

I honestly believe that if Osama bin Laden had been killed on Donald Trump’s watch, Democrats would have been upset about it. Seriously, what else are we to think based on their reactions to what’s happening in Iran right now? I’d love to believe that the left has America’s best interests at heart, but they sure do spend a lot of time and energy making it clear they don’t. And frankly, they’re trying so desperately to make the attack on Iran a political liability for Trump that they aren’t even trying to make solid arguments.

The Jacksonville man, identified as 36-year-old Andrew Giddens, was reported missing last month after a welfare check following concerns about his depressed state of mind due to a break-up, according to a Fox Weather report.

A driverless Waymo robotaxi obstructed emergency vehicles attempting to reach the site of the mass shooting in downtown Austin that left two people dead and 14 others injured early Sunday morning. The KXAN reports that an autonomous Waymo vehicle caused a delay for emergency responders racing to the scene of a deadly mass shooting at a popular Austin bar in the early morning hours of Sunday. The incident has renewed concerns about the deployment of self-driving vehicles in urban environments, particularly during emergency situations. Matthew Turnage, who had ordered an Uber ride after leaving a nightclub in the area around 2:00 a.m., captured video footage of the autonomous vehicle

The horrific shooting at Buford’s Backyard Beer Garden in Austin shines a light on a gun control in Texas that prevents even licensed concealed carriers from being armed for self-defense in a bar setting. Texas has a gun culture that is second to none, but the Lone Star State also has a “51 percent” law that makes it illegal for law-abiding concealed carriers to be armed in an establishment that derives at least 51 percent of its money from alcohol sales. The San Antonio Report noted: The 51 percent sign is a gun control sign established in 1993 to protect bar owners.

Asymmetrical warfare means applying the strengths you have against an overwhelming enemy’s weaknesses. The goat sex pest mullahs have been utterly humiliated by America's and Israel’s overwhelming military superiority in conventional forces, with our airplanes, drones, and other systems traversing their airspace at will after we established total air supremacy. Our ships sail the seas, unthreatened and unchallenged, while most of the Iranian Navy morphs into submarines. But that doesn’t mean that they don’t have the capacity to strike back, and that doesn’t mean that we don’t have potential weaknesses. Everybody has weaknesses. Ours is located in the United States itself, our homeland,

The federal income tax is abusive. It is inconsistent with liberty. It has, as Chief Justice John Marshall noted, the power to destroy. There is nothing positive to be said about it. It cannot even raise government revenues efficiently. As we said a year ago, of all the good Donald Trump could do in his second term, eliminating the federal income tax would be one of his greatest achievements. It’s clearly one of his goals. “As time goes by, I believe the tariffs paid for by foreign countries will, like in the past, substantially replace the modern-day system of income tax,” Trump said during his State of the Union address.

When you’ve constructed a cartoon version of the world in your mind, what do you do when reality proves it wrong? If you’re the leftist establishment, you certainly don’t rethink your assumptions. Late Friday, New York Times columnist David French snarkily referred to Secretary of War Pete Hegseth as a “walking MAGA caricature” on X. Four hours later, Hegseth’s troops were pounding Iran in an intricate series of strikes that left its evil regime reeling. The response to French — who has not withdrawn his sneer — was unsympathetic. My favorite: “Let’s have a contest … you and Pete show up at Fort Bragg, see who the troops respect more.”
