It’s useful, if unserious, for congressional Democrat leaders this week to have issued a list of demands in exchange for votes to fund the Department of Homeland Security, which oversees immigration law enforcement. The administration should see it as a reminder that the default position of Democrats is “pretend to support deporting illegal aliens while overcomplicating the process so as to render it impossible.”
Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, both of New York, published the demands in an open letter on Wednesday, detailing 10 things they say are needed to strike a deal on more DHS funding. “Federal immigration agents cannot

Hannah Anderson, who serves as the Director of Healthy America Policy and as the Senior Director of Policy for the America First Policy Institute (AFPI), described the Trump Rx website as the “first of its kind” and “unprecedented” during an appearance on Breitbart News Saturday.(snip) Anderson spoke about how the Trump Rx website allows Americans to “go directly to a website” and “clearly know the price of the drug” they need. Launched at the COP30 meeting in Brazil last year, the Declaration on Information Integrity on Climate Change (DIICC) was, as reported here, a manifesto for censorship wrapped in venal doublespeak. Fittingly, given the corrupt and exhaustive process that spawned it, the DIICC was last week ‘endorsed’ by the European Union. According to a European Commission press release from the Directorate-General for Climate Action, the EU Council gave its approval to the UNESCO initiative on January 20th and the EU formally accepted it a week later.

Progressive Los Angeles City Councilmember Nithya Raman (D) on Saturday made a last-minute bid to challenge Mayor Karen Bass (D) in the June primary election.
Raman made the announcement hours before the 12 p.m. filing deadline for candidates be on the ballot. She praised Bass in an interview with the Los Angeles Times, calling the mayor “an icon” but said the city needs someone who will tackle its problems.“I have deep respect for Mayor Bass,” Raman told the Times. “We’ve worked closely together on my biggest priorities and her biggest priorities, and there’s significant alignment there. But over the last few months in particular,

President Trump is planning to host the inaugural meeting of the Board of Peace later this month, a source familiar with the plans told The Hill’s sister network, NewsNation.
The meeting will coincide with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to the White House, which had already been scheduled for the day before, Feb. 18.
The news was first reported by Axios, which said the summit would be held at the rebranded Institute of Peace and serve as an opportunity to raise money for reconstruction in the Gaza Strip.

The violence and size of the anti-ICE riots in Minnesota took federal officials by surprise. But maybe they shouldn’t be shocked. As it turns out, and as is often the case when it comes to far-left demonstrations, outside money, organizations and foreign influence are firing the revolt .
As Deputy U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche this week told “The Ingraham Angle,” investigators discovered a “massive fraud going on all through Minneapolis, all through Minnesota, and suddenly it turned. It turned almost on a dime, and it became suddenly all about ICE, all about getting ICE out and how horrible ICE was doing,”

A damning on-site investigation has revealed that the winery co-owned by Ilhan Omar’s husband is nothing more than a phantom operation, fueling suspicions of fraud amid scrutiny of her skyrocketing wealth.Angela Rose, the journalist behind the probe, visited the listed address in Santa Rosa, California, only to discover glaring discrepancies that point to a shell company setup.“I visited the principal address of ESTCRU winery. This winery is co owned by US Rep of Minnesota Ilhan Omar’s husband, Timothy Mynett, yet seems to allegedly be a shell business used to launder funds,” Rose stated in her report.

A high-ranking immigration official committed an unforgivable betrayal of his personnel and is paying the price.
As Fox News reported , the Department of Homeland Security announced they had fired a senior Customs and Border Protection official on Thursday for leaking sensitive, personal information about CBP personnel to the corporate media.
The CBP official also allegedly leaked details of negotiations over the border wall to the press.
A DHS spokesperson called the official’s conduct “abhorrently dangerous” during an interview with Fox News.

Republicans are heading into the midterms with a huge advantage — a strong economy that is finally working for American families. Under President Trump and a GOP Congress, growth is up, inflation is down, wages are rising, and businesses are investing again. After years of economic pain, Americans are starting to feel real relief. Yet, too many Republicans are failing to make the case. As Larry Kudlow recently said on X: “The GOP needs to tout the red-hot economy at every campaign stop. There’s a business boom, a productivity boom, and Trump Accounts and wages are outstripping inflation.

The two deaths during ICE operations in January have led to an inundation of left-wing outrage to begin the new year. Thankfully, however, the amount of screen time allotted to America’s vocal minority is not indicative of how successfully — or unsuccessfully — any given issue is being handled. When it comes to illegal immigration, President Trump has, perhaps unsurprisingly, quelled the issue while exhibiting mastery in responding to pushback, just over one year into his second term.

New York City Council member Zohran Mamdani called for a coordinated government response to what he described as growing threats facing immigrant communities, while urging faith leaders to play a central role in supporting residents who may be targeted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Mamdani made the remarks while outlining his vision for how city government and community institutions should respond during times of crisis.
He argued that city agencies must operate in a unified manner and said religious leaders are essential partners in reaching immigrant populations across New York City.

For days, Luis Ramirez had an uneasy feeling about the men dressed as utility workers he'd seen outside his family's Mexican restaurant in suburban Minneapolis. They wore high-visibility vests and spotless white hard hats, he noticed, even while parked in their vehicle. His search for the Wisconsin-based electrician advertised on the car's doors returned no results. (Snip) As the sweeping immigration crackdown in Minnesota continues, legal observers and officials say they have received a growing number of reports of federal agents impersonating construction workers, delivery drivers and in some cases anti-ICE activists. Not all of those incidents have been verified

I said a few days ago, “with DNI Tulsi Gabbard putting strategic pressure from the inside, and We The People putting accountability pressure from the outside, this Deep State intelligence nut just might begin to crack. In fact, I might even argue that cracking is exactly what we are starting to see.”
Today, we see evidence of just that; perhaps even the first signs that John Ratcliffe is on board. Perhaps.
The context here is important. Within the larger administrative state network: CNN is the preferred PR firm of the State Dept.; the CIA use The Washington Post; the FBI use Politico and the New York Times;

I wrote a piece last year firmly supporting the reintroduction of wolves into Colorado to share the mountain landscape with cattle ranchers. I’ve changed my mind.
My reasoning at the time was that wolves are part of the natural landscape here. They help the huge deer and elk herds by taking the old and weak out for dinner.
As a lifelong hiker and mountaineer, I also liked the mere idea of having wolves in the Colorado mountains even if I never saw one (and I never have). After all, they’d been here for millions of years until they were eradicated in the 20th century.
As for wolves’ occasional predation on cattle,

Here’s the new euphemism for someone who kills another person while demanding what the victim has: “requestor.”
According to a news report from the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Jarvis Davis was hanging out in an apartment unit, eating a fast food order, when his friend, who had just finished his own meal but was still hungry, “requested” a french fry from young Jarvis. Jarvis declined to hand over his food, and the “requesting” friend then pulled out a gun and shot Jarvis in the head: [snip]A young black man gunned down in cold bold—where is the leftist outrage? The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) riots by Antifa and other activists since June 2025 may have now claimed what could have been the first killing tied to this anti-ICE operation in Portland, following a Friday-night drive-by shooting. Instead of using an actual gun, however, the angry shooter, a woman, used a reported non-lethal BB-type gun and shot at least one right-wing livestreamer in the face and arm multiple times. Others may have been hit as well.
Since June 2025, local police have, in effect, stood down as Antifa agitators threatened, rioted, and attacked anyone entering or leaving the Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility near downtown Portland. Local insurgents

Tucson, Ariz. — The sheriff investigating the apparent kidnapping of "Today" show anchor Savannah Guthrie's mother was spotted sitting near the front row at a college basketball game Saturday night, even as Guthrie and her two siblings posted a plaintive plea on Instagram for the safe return of their mother. Fox News Digital obtained photos of Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos, who is facing increased scrutiny as the investigation into Nancy Guthrie's disappearance drags on, attending a matchup between the University of Arizona and Oklahoma State. Early Sunday morning will mark one week since Guthrie, 84, disappeared from her suburban Tucson home.

A firm believer in individual rights and free choice, I’ve got no problem with young people who think they might like to become card-carrying Democrats.
As a public service, then, let me educate potential Democrats on what will be necessary for them to fit in with their fellow donkeys. The following are things you must believe in and loudly advocate for, lest your fellow Dems suddenly turn on you and visit, bearing torches and pitchforks:
Killing People
Dems just love to kill people, especially unborn babies. Doesn’t matter how far along in gestation an unborn human is; Democrats are always ready to off him or her. Or zem. Whatever...

The attention of those less politically minded is focused on the disappearance of Savannah Guthrie’s mother, Nancy -- always fodder for the would-be Colombos and Miss Marples -- and the Olympics. Yet this week saw some victories for the administration along with some serious unfinished business. The ousted dictator Nicolás Maduro seems isolated, depressed, and devoid of funds sufficient to hire teams of lawyers to defend him. Any claims he might have for immunity seem destined to fail. The evidence establishes he was born in Colombia; his claim falls because only a native Venezuelan is entitled to hold the office of president.
