Gen Z, this will smart. The generation born between 1997 and 2010 is the very first generation who did worse in school than the generation before them, according to a top neuroscientist. And shockingly, they are proud of it. “They’re the first generation in modern history to score lower on standardized academic tests than the one before it,” Dr. Jared Cooney Horvath, 43, told The Post. “And to make matters worse, most of these young people are overconfident about how smart they are. The smarter people think they are, the dumber they actually are. “They underperformed on basically every cognitive measure, from basic attention, memory, literacy, numeracy, executive function and general IQ.”

I was a teacher. Education is already dumbed down to a third of what it was when I was in school And now, Gen Z is even dumber than the already dumbed down curriculum? A lot of students have little academic support or encouragement at home nowdays. Cell phones in classrooms are not helping. School administrators are wussies and have no guts to stand up to dumb parents protecting their disruptive kids. `I could go on and on, but the best way for a student to get the best education is to get out of the public school system.

There’s an Indianapolis reporter on X that has been posting videos of students leaving school to protest ICE. I’ve been replying with screen shots of how well or, more common, how badly the schools are rated using publicschoolreview.com. I got curious and checked out our rural high school and I was shocked to see how stupid our country kids are too. It was a real eye opener.

First it was Television, now it's video games and TikTok 'influencers' on so-called 'smart phones'. Leftist 'dumber-downers' from end-to-end throughout the education system also play a large role in this. The smartest kids I see these days are the ones who have smart parents who home-school their kids.

Every generation they get dumber. We were dumber than our parents' generation, and my kids were dumber than me. The very slight silver lining I've found is when we would get a new employee who had just done a hitch in the service, they were usually smart as whips. There were kids less than half my age teaching me about things I'd never heard of like computer algorithms and feedback loops. Where they lacked knowledge was how to operate the machines fully manually, and I tried to pass that along to them before I retired. And spelling. They cant spell their way out of a 3rd grade class. But it looks like the military may be making up for where the public schools failed.

#5 Why be surprised by how dumb country kids are? They are taught the same baloney that city kids are. "The smarter people think they are, the dumber they actually are." One of my favorite sayings. I didn't know anyone was listening to me. Add on top of that, teachers telling students that they are smarter than their parents and they will believe any thing the school teaches.

There are two distinct problems, teachers who don't want to teach because they get paid the same regardless and students who are not motivated to learn. Kamalala is depending upon Gen Z so I'm sure she has the solution.

The Trump administration said Thursday that it has finalized a rule that creates a new government schedule that will make it easier for administrations to fire federal employees it views as hindering its agenda. The rule, dubbed Schedule Policy/Career, converts a wide range of federal policy-related employees into a status similar to that of political appointees who can be fired at will. The change is expected to impact up to 50,000 federal workers. Unions have opposed the change, arguing it politicizes the federal workforce, which previously was intended to be neutral and expertise-oriented, according to The Hill. “This is not about people’s views or ideas,"

Respect is nothing more than an abstraction until somebody refuses to show it; that's when symbols clarify moments. Flags matter because they represent authority, sacrifice, and ownership. The World Health Organization (WHO) crossed that line when it decided to keep the United States' flag after President Donald Trump withdrew from the organization. That decision led to a rare action on the world's political stage: Somebody acted. President Trump pulled the U.S. out of the WHO because of decades of mismanagement, compliance with hostile governments, and repeated failures during global health scares. There are consequences resulting from the withdrawal: legal, diplomatic, and symbolic.

Yet this week saw some victories for the administration along with some serious unfinished business. The ousted dictator Nicolás Maduro seems isolated, depressed, and devoid of funds sufficient to hire teams of lawyers to defend him. Any claims he might have for immunity seem destined to fail. For too long, America’s retirement system has worked for the few, not the many. Wall Street insiders, wealthy elites, and big public pension funds have built wealth via the private markets – private equity, private credit, and real estate. Meanwhile, hardworking Americans are told to stay in their lane. If you work a regular job and save through a 401(k), you are effectively shut out from greater choice and investment access for your well-earned money. That’s not an accident. Elites – like Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) – don’t want this change because it erodes their interests and your opportunity for wealth creation.
