President Donald Trump on Wednesday signed a presidential memorandum directing the U.S. to withdraw from 66 international organizations, ordering executive departments and agencies to cease participation in and funding of entities the administration says no longer serve U.S. interests. The memorandum follows a State Department review ordered earlier this year under Executive Order 14199 and applies to 35 non-United Nations organizations and 31 United Nations entities, according to the White House. In the memorandum, Trump said he reviewed Secretary Rubio's findings and determined it is "contrary to the interests of the U.S. to remain a member of, participate in, or otherwise provide support" to the listed organizations.

Early Wednesday, U.S. Special Operations Forces, probably Navy SEALs, boarded and took control of a Russian-flagged supertanker in the North Atlantic between Iceland and Ireland, bringing to an end a nearly three-week melodrama. On December 21, the U.S. Coast Guard operating in the Caribbean as part of Operation Southern Spear attempted to board a “dark fleet” supertanker, M/T Bella 1, heading toward Venezuela; see Report: Coast Guard Now Targeting Another Sanctioned Oil Ship Off Venezuela – RedState. A blood-covered woman who identified herself as the wife of Renee Nicole Good hysterically blamed herself for her partner’s killing at the hands of ICE agents, gut-wrenching footage shows. The woman was filmed distraught and sobbing just steps from Good’s wrecked car in Minneapolis Wednesday morning, as a neighbor who heard the commotion asked her what happened. “I made her come down here, it’s my fault,” the woman said through sobs. “They just shot my wife.” “They shot her in the head. I have a 6-year-old in school,” she appeared to say. Good was shot dead while behind the wheel

I’ll post the video outcomes of the Paris summit comments below. However, in the interests of time and cutting to the chase, the picture below highlights the reality of things as they present.
The British-based “coalition of the willing” (+1 USA) assembled in Paris as the operation to manipulate the U.S. into forming the cornerstone of the Ukraine “security guarantees” continues. A great deal of this is public relations and psychological operations intended to create something against President Trump’s expressed intention.
However, everything you need to know about the eventual end of this long exposition is evident in the image that everyone pretends not to see.

The Somali-dominated Democratic political machine in Minnesota successfully silenced hundreds of government experts who tracked the huge flow of taxpayer funds through Somali-run businesses, a top Minnesota Republican told a House hearing on Wednesday.
Up to 1,000 government auditors, accountants, and program managers were silenced by Democratic threats, Minnesota House Rep. Marion Rarick told a House hearing:
The most severe ones was that they would be fired with cause so they couldn’t have unemployment insurance, that they would be blacklisted from all state agencies… [including] Hennepin County, Ramsey County. As you know, those are Democrat-run.
Many government experts, non-government professionals, and Republicans detected many of the frauds, but their voices were muffled

America and the world are safer today thanks to the bold actions of President Trump and his team in Venezuela.
Exactly six years to the day after we took out Iranian Quds Force Commander Qassem Soleimani (an operation I had the privilege to help lead as Secretary of State), the President and his team neutralized another threat to America by capturing Venezuelan dictator and indicted narco-terrorist Nicolas Maduro.
Let’s be clear: Maduro is a fugitive of American justice who stole two elections and is not the legitimate ruler of Venezuela; that honor belongs to Edmundo González, the democratic opposition candidate who won the 2024 election.

Federal officials have begun investigating the long-ignored shipping of at least $700 million in U.S. cash by Somalis in air travel luggage out of Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport.
Witnesses say that the cash was legally flown out to Somalia and other countries and that TSA routinely flagged the money to their superiors. The cash, in bundles of $1 million or more, were packed in passenger luggage and shown to airport security officials by migrants flying back to Somalia-area airports, as well as other African countries and places in the Middle East.
Biden’s officials did not try to investigate any of these massive cash transfers during his term in office.

Despite Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro’s ouster, his regime still remains in power in some sectors of the country.
This is because of the Colectivos, pro-Maduro paramilitary groups that have been patrolling the streets “with motorbikes and assault rifles” (Kalashnikovs) to “stifle any dissent,” according to The Guardian.
The patrols have been stopping/searching cars and demanding access to people’s phones to ensure they haven’t expressed support for Maduro’s ouster by the U.S. Trump administration.
The Telegraph has confirmed that the Colectivos are operating as per “a government directive” from interior minister Diosdado Cabello, who’s been seen posing with them:

For decades, Vermont had a well-deserved reputation as one of the most 2A-friendly states in the nation. Permitless carry has been the norm there for decades, and despite the fact that Democrats routinely controlled the state legislature and governor's office, gun control bills found little support among lawmakers. That's all changed over the past fifteen years or so, and while Democrats haven't moved to repeal permitless carry they've enacted a number of new gun laws including a waiting period, Extreme Risk Protection Orders, universal background checks, bans on gun sales to adults under the age of 21, and bans on "large capacity" magazines —

Dramatic video purportedly shows the moment an ICE agent opened fire and killed a 37-year-old woman who attempted to barrel her SUV into the officer’s path in Minneapolis Wednesday morning — as the mayor furiously demanded the agency “get the f–k out” of the city.
In the footage being widely circulated on social media from varying angles, ICE officers approach a plum-colored Honda Pilot and order the driver out of the vehicle after she blocked the path of their truck.
As one of the agents attempts to open the door, she quickly throws the car into reverse before trying to speed forward in the direction of another agent in her path.

Tim Walz dropping out of Minnesota’s gubernatorial race hearkens back to the early days of the Harris-Walz 2024 ticket. Less than a week after Kamala Harris secured the Democrat presidential nomination, she selected Walz as her running mate. In Democrats’ imagination, the Minnesota governor would magically sweep the working class, rural voters, and men into the fold like Joe Biden 2.0, all while serving as the Democrat model of manhood — an obsequious, plushie personality nearly entirely feminine in nature, with a few accoutrements of manhood tacked on. Mercifully, the plan failed, along with the Harris-Walz candidacy.

The left erupted in rage Tuesday when the Trump administration unveiled a new website that catalogs the truth about the Jan. 6 riot.
Unlike the Jan. 6 narrative peddled by the left, the website outlines inconvenient facts such as the Democrats’ own culpability in the security failures that precipitated the one-day riot.
The website also pays tribute to peaceful Jan. 6 protesters who were unfairly prosecuted and treated like insurrectionists despite proof that they didn’t even participate in the actual riot.
Responding to the unveiling of the website, CNN’s infamous fact-checker Daniel Dale predictably cried foul, calling it “fake history.”

For days now, Democrats have been crying foul over Trump's capture of Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro. Despite years of Democrats literally calling for Maduro’s ouster, the party has completely flip-flopped, calling it an illegal operation, a war crime, and, of course, an impeachable offense.
Then, on Monday, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth announced that his department has launched formal disciplinary proceedings against Sen. Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.) over the November 2025 video in which Kelly and five other Democrats urged service members to refuse what they portrayed as “illegal orders.”
As PJ Media previously reported, the department has already issued a formal Letter of Censure for Kelly’s “pattern of reckless misconduct,”

Diosdado Cabello, who controls security forces accused of widespread human rights abuses, is one of a handful of Maduro loyalists that President Donald Trump has decided to rely on as temporary rulers to maintain stability during a transition period, said one source briefed on the administration’s thinking.

Lately, I've seen a great deal of discussion about "high-trust" and "low-trust" societies. Some of that may be the result of the media I read, but more likely it is because people are reaching for language to describe something new to them. Yet pro-migration advocates have been almost silent about the dramatic new rules, even though they staged frenzied 2017 protests against a “Muslim travel ban” when Trump imposed softer curbs in his first year in office. For example, the National Immigration Law Center issued a mere three-sentence condemnation when the new rules were first announced.
The progressive passivity is notable, said Mark Krikorian, director of the Center for Immigration Studies. “No question, and [the 2026 rule] is much broader too,”

Last year may have been good for most Americans, but not so much for big media groups. Confidence in the media hit a recent low in November, and bounced back only slightly in December, as the final I&I/TIPP Poll of 2025 indicates. Can the media ever regain their lost luster?
I&I/TIPP asks Americans each month two questions about the media. The first: “Generally speaking, how much trust do you have in the traditional or established news media (Example: Washington Post, New York Times, NPR, CBS News, etc.) to report the news accurately and fairly?”

Hallie Shoffner is running for Senate in Arkansas as a lifelong farmer who had no plans to run for office. But Shoffner spent years working as a left-wing activist—and hired a marketing firm to build a "new brand" as "FarmHerHallie," a Washington Free Beacon review found. Shoffner has centered her campaign against Republican incumbent Tom Cotton on her farming background. "My whole life, I've been a rice and soybean farmer," Shoffner said in a November campaign video. "She's not a politician, she's not much for political parties, and she's never run for office in her life—the only thing Hallie ever wanted to do was farm," her campaign site read

A theater professor in Tennessee is back on the job — and $500,000 richer — after being fired over a social media post in the wake of conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s assassination. Darren Michael, an associate professor of acting and directing at Austin Peay State University, was reinstated last month and the school will pay him half a million dollars as part of a settlement agreement related to his termination, local outlet WKRN News 2 reported Tuesday. The public university in Clarksville will also reimburse Michael for “therapeutic counseling services.”

"Can a man who’s warm understand one who’s freezing?" — Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn
If you want to see the true meaning behind Zohran Mamdani’s phrase “the warmth of collectivism,” take a look at that photo above, taken at one of the Soviet gulag work camps. The cold was unbearable, but the zeks — the inmates — bore it, until it killed some of them. Someone said on X yesterday that “the warmth of collectivism” was inscribed on a sign over the entrance to the gulag at Kolyma, in the Russian far north, but I can’t find any evidence that that is true. It might as well

It’s not shocking that some clown from Rolling Stone did this, but here we are. Seth Harp decided to doxx the commander of Delta Force following President Trump’s elite, justified, and totally legal raid that led to the capture of Nicolas Maduro on January 3. He beat his chest, saying what he did was legal, described the Maduro capture as a kidnapping, and made other moronic points only found in this publication that got successfully sued for defamation over their fake news piece about a gang rape at the University of Virginia.

Russian officials indicated in 2019 that the Kremlin would be willing to back off from its support for Nicolás Maduro in Venezuela in exchange for a free hand in Ukraine, according to Fiona Hill, an adviser to President Donald Trump at the time.
The Russians repeatedly floated the idea of a “very strange swap arrangement between Venezuela and Ukraine,” Hill said during a congressional hearing in 2019. Her comments surfaced again this week and were shared on social media after the U.S. stealth operation to capture Maduro.

The founder of an infamous Minnesota-based nonprofit convicted of hatching a $250 million welfare fraud scheme was ordered by a judge last week to forfeit her Porsche, designer handbags and millions of dollars in ill-gotten gains.
Aimee Bock, the 44-year-old mastermind behind the Feeding our Future scandal, was found guilty in March on federal charges of wire fraud, bribery and conspiracy in connection to the nation’s largest COVID-19 fraud scheme.
Bock, who along with dozens of predominantly Somali co-conspirators pilfered pandemic relief funds from a federal program meant to feed hungry children in need, is awaiting sentencing for her lead role in the scandal.

Democrat former Rep. Mary Peltola of Alaska is preparing a bid to reenter public office, likely to challenge Sen. Dan Sullivan (R).
That’s music to Democrat Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s (NY) ears. Schumer, in desperate need of good news, has been working to recruit Peltola since at least summer 2025 after her 2024 defeat for reelection to the House by Republican Rep. Nick Begich.
Peltola’s likely entrance into the race did not catch Sullivan flatfooted. The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) has included Alaska in their Senate battleground map in anticipation of a Peltola run —

Protests against the Iranian theocracy spread to most of Iran’s 31 provinces as of Tuesday, including cities that have long been seen as firmly loyal to the ayatollah. The current movement is arguably larger than the “Women, Life, Freedom” uprising that shook the regime in 2022, and today’s demonstrators show no signs of backing down in the face of brutal repression. The BBC cited video confirmation of massive protests in 17 provinces, plus reports of demonstrations in 11 more, although those lacked copious video documentation as of Tuesday morning.

Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-S.D.) on Tuesday dismissed the prospect of deploying the military to seize mineral-rich Greenland, even though top White House adviser Stephen Miller declared the ice-covered territory should rightfully belong to the U.S.
“I think that’s probably getting the cart ahead of the horse. I don’t see military action being an option there,” Thune said of a possible U.S. takeover of Greenland after President Trump deposed Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro over the weekend. Thune noted he led a congressional delegation to Denmark, which controls Greenland, last year.
“I led a delegation in August, of senators, and one of our stops was in Copenhagen.

The scandals erupting in Minnesota offer another example of how easy it is for generous U.S. welfare programs to squander billions of dollars. And while it’s important to hold accountable the individuals who figured out how to scam the system, until the system itself is changed, for every billion-dollar fraud that is uncovered, others will take their place. An endless game of whack-a-mole will continue.
However, the system can be changed, and in doing so, it will replace incentives toward corruption with incentives that reward enterprise and hard work.

This is way beyond winning, this is stunningly brilliant strategy. Not only has President Trump successfully apprehended Venezuela dictator Nicolas Maduro, but the remaining interim government officials have acquiesced to fund a civil restitution plan to pay for their malfeasance.
The government that stole from its people is being forced to pay restitution for their own fraud, abuse and misconduct. As we noted yesterday the immediate issue for Venezuela would be to fill the economic/financial void.
The Sea Island attendees support a quick Machado installation. Trump/Rubio prefer to proceed with more caution, especially because someon.

The U.K. and France signed a declaration Tuesday pledging troops for Ukraine under a future peace deal and with security guarantees supported by the U.S. and allied partners.
The declaration was adopted in Paris by the Coalition of the Willing and sets out what leaders said was a framework for lasting peace between Ukraine and Russia, set in international law and the principles of the United Nations Charter.
Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, triggered Europe’s largest conflict since World War II.

A lawsuit filed late last month took Chicago-based McDonald's to task over the McRib sandwich, calling its name a form of false advertising. (snip) The lawsuit said McDonald's has "cultivated a sense of anticipation around the McRib, leveraging its scarcity to drive sales across its many locations."
As CBS News has reported before, the notorious 520-calorie sandwich contains just five simple ingredients: seasoned boneless pork dipped in BBQ sauce, sliced onions, and dill pickles in a toasted homestyle bun.

Tuesday on MS NOW’s “The Beat,” Democratic strategist James Carville predicted Democrats will “have a massive win” in the November midterms.
Carville said, “He knows he is going to lose in November. He’s saying the Democrats are going — and of course, the Democrats are going to investigate you. Why wouldn’t they? It’s closing in on him. And what I’m fearful of, and I think everybody should be, today it’s Venezuela, I don’t know, now they’re talking about Greenland and Mexico, but who knows what they’ll do to try to save him and try to get between the Epstein scandal and Donald Trump, which is going to be hard to do.”

We've told you quite a bit about Cea Weaver, the housing/tenant advisor to New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani. Weaver has very strong opinions on homeownership, private property, and white people. You can read about her scary Marxist beliefs in-depth here. Still, the Cliff Notes version is this: homeownership is a tool of white supremacy, she wants to abolish private property, and she hates white people (Weaver apparently hasn't looked in a mirror recently). (snip) Turns out Weaver's mom owns a $1.6 million home in Tennessee.

The Transportation Security Administration flagged nearly $700 million in cash detected in passengers’ luggage leaving the Minneapolis airport the last two years, a massive cash exodus believed to be tied to Somali immigrants and their money couriers, Homeland Security officials told Just the News.
The officials said the cash movements out of Minnesota’s largest airport began about a decade ago – around the time Democrat Gov. Tim Walz took office – and has grown substantially in recent years.

Iran? Russia? China? Senate Dems? The Maduros themselves? (Naah. Too obvious.)
Iran certainly qualifies for the medal round here. The loss of their footprint in Venezuela would disrupt one of the regime's last sources of hard currency via its proxy in Hezbollah, not to mention their ability to influence and terrorize the Western Hemisphere. However, the loss of that link would not in itself become an existential issue for the regime, even though it certainly contributes to its current existential crises. The biggest loser actually exists much closer to home, according to the Wall Street Journal:

Protests have broken out in at least 17 of Iran's 31 provinces, presenting the largest challenge to the country's clerical establishment since 2022, a BBC Verify and BBC Persian analysis has found.
The BBC's analysis of protests includes only those for which we have verified video footage - the true number is almost certainly far higher. There are reports of protests in a further 11 provinces.
The wave of protests has spread rapidly across Iran since 28 December, when anger initially broke out in the capital Tehran following a fresh and sharp devaluation of the country's currency against the dollar and other major foreign currencies.

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — Protesters angry over Iran’s ailing economy conducted a sit-in Tuesday at Tehran’s Grand Bazaar, witnesses said, with security forces ultimately firing tear gas and dispersing demonstrators as the rest of the market shut down.
The protest at the Grand Bazaar, the beating heart for centuries of both Iran’s economic and political life, represented the latest signal that the demonstrations likely are to continue as the rial currency fell to a record low Tuesday. Already, violence surrounding the protests has killed at least 36 people with authorities detaining more than 2,000 others, activists abroad say.
