Trump Administration
Further Modernizes Citizenship Verification

An immigration think tank is calling for Congress to consider mandating the use of a citizenship verification for voter registration after the Department of Homeland Security announced plans to make the Systemic Alien Verification for Entitlements more user-friendly for state and local election offices. Last week, the DHS settled a case with four states -- Florida, Indiana, Iowa, and Ohio -- to overhaul the citizenship verification system. (Snip) The new settlement requires the federal government to modernize the citizenship verification tools so that every state and territory -- not just the four litigants -- can more easily prevent noncitizens from voting.

Comments:

DOJ is in court to force blue states to remove ineligible aliens from their voter registration rolls. Once the voter rolls are corrected, assuring that aliens are not illegally registered going forward is the crucial net step.

Unfortunately you have to figure that the Democrat run cities and states will find a lot of generally bogus reasons to not comply with any US competent citizenship verification process during voter registration and voting procedures, when it comes to keeping non-citizens, illegal aliens, legal immigrants, and aliens legally temporarily in the USA off US voter rolls. There is no doubt that millions of illegal aliens, after gaining entry to the USA have been issued US drivers licenses and state ID cards by mostly the Democrat states in their true names, identities of other people, and/or by using completely false or fraudulent names and dates of birth. Some, who do not even speak or understand the English language have even been given commercial drivers licenses with no names on the licenses. On top of that the Biden Administration gave an unlimited number of illegal aliens US Social Security numbers and cards. That’s generally how illegal aliens who under the immigration laws are not authored to work in the USA generally get hired to US jobs, as when employers run I-9 background checks they either come back as legitimate or no record and the illegal alien is then hired. The reasons that Biden and the Democrats opened the US borders to all comers from all over the world, so that massive (tens of millions) of aliens who are illegally in the USA would be counted in the US Census so that they in their numbers alone would cause a large redistricting of congressional districts from around the country into the Democrat run cities and areas where most of the illegal alien population is illegally residing, where leftist, progressive, and socialist Democrat politicians would be bound to win the resulting elections causing a large increase in the number of Democrats permanently seated in the House of Representatives. Beyond that the Democrats want the illegal alien population to be legalized in accordance with Democrat “comprehensive immigration reform (amnesty) legislation” thus putting them on “a path to citizenship” knowing that most illegal aliens are of Third World origin who qualify as members of minority groups under Democrat identity politics, who are poor, generally uneducated, and unskilled people who would support the the socialist Democrat political agenda to get “free stuff”and would transition into tens of millions of future Democrat voters, along with becoming eligible to bring their foreign family members into the USA. That’s why the Democrats do not want any illegal aliens to be deported. No doubt there are wimpy Republicans in the Congress who would vote for such a Democrat amnesty, simply due to the “cheap labor” factor.

Just saw an article about people were being denied citizenship at a swearing in ceremony for new citizens. I wonder if Trump's new verification process had anything to do with this.

Has anyone in the "enemedia" thought to ask why only Blue-States would care to waste its precious state revenues in Federal Court fighting to retain dead residents on its voter rolls? Of all the things tax-money should be spent doing, such as fixing potholes or giving a pay boost to state workers, or making sure their state pension fund is healthy, etc., but, oh no, they want to pay grifting lawyers to go to court and fight for something that could be handled with a simple "DEL" computer key-stroke. The explanation for their wasteful effort to retain the dead on active status can only be a nefarious one, and we all know what it is. It almost reminds me of a black & white horror movie from the 1950's entitled, "The Night of the Voting Dead."

It will only work if Republicans prosecute Democrats that refuse to follow the law. Democrats ignore the laws they don't like, because Republicans never prosecute and jail them.

Rep. Glenn Grothman says the National Defense Authorization Act passed Wednesday by the House contains a little-noticed weapon to cut federal spending and bureaucracy. The Wisconsin Republican told Just The News the bill now heading to the Senate cuts up to 19% of civilian jobs inside the War Department saving an estimated $30 billion. "It appears as though the Department of Defense is going to step up, and like other departments, begin to lay off some employees who are really not necessary in today's highly technical world," Grothman said.

Miami's mayoral election has been framed as a political earthquake, but those sweeping claims don't hold water. They do, however, evince the ignorance of all too many, across party lines, about the actual power structure in the city, Miami-Dade County, and Florida. (snip) The "nonpartisan" mayor of Miami holds a largely ceremonial role. Real executive authority rests with the city manager, who can only serve with the approval of the five-member city commission. That "nonpartisan" commission currently has a stable 3-2 Republican majority.

Far too often, when bad public policy fails to deliver, the first reflex in Washington is to throw more money at the problem. This reflex has been destroying American health care for years. This pattern is seen clearly in the Affordable Care Act (ACA), as millions of Americans learn their premiums will skyrocket in 2026. Washington has long thrown good money after bad -- and the result has been ever-increasing costs for patients and taxpayers. This pattern can also be seen in Medicare Part D. The stand-alone Part D market is now in active collapse.

There Isn't a single reason to continue giving Democrats the benefit of the doubt on their destructive, anti-American policies, least of all on immigration, yet the New York Times is here this week to do just that. In an unnecessarily long article our Sunday, Times reporter Christopher Flavelle sought to recast the Joe Biden era's catastrophic mess at the Southern border as a matter of misjudgment and political failure rather than what it really was -- deliberate harm inflicted on the nation.

The streets were suddenly shiny clean, devoid of the usual tents and encampments, piles of trash and filth, human excrement, and drug-addled zombies. The sidewalks and many businesses . . . received a world class cleaning. And then once the APEC Summit was over, the homeless drug addicts and their tent camps moved back in.
