Among Donald Trump’s contributions to our public life is the revelation that a politician can, after all, pursue a defamation case successfully. Of course, it can happen only in extreme circumstances, but Trump Derangement Syndrome frequently gives rise to extreme circumstances. And Trump’s haters can’t seem to learn from experience. Thus we have the latest outrage from The View, a television program on which a group of harridans shriek DNC talking points: ABC News may soon be facing down another costly defamation suit from President Trump. On Thursday’s edition of The View, moderator Joy Behar proclaimed that it was “obvious” that Trump was a pedophile in league with convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein,

Outcome of cases these days is more dependent on how much the judge hates Trump than what the law is. But you can’t let them get away with it.

I guess this means that the Clinton's are all pedophiles according to Joyous Behar. They certainly associated with Jeffrey and even went to his ranch and had his assistant to Chelsey's wedding. Hummmmmm.

One of the great things about Trump winning these lawsuits is not only are individuals held accountable, but it sets a new tone and standard of behavior for the networks that pay people like Behar. The risk for these networks is, once they have lost one of these lawsuits, their exposure to damage increases. Courts look poorly upon repeated illegal behavior. Every repetition ups the cost with the intent of the court to raise the level of pain until the illegal behavior stops. You notice that specific "talent" that has gotten sued, but not fired, have become more circumspect in their behavior. They know they are on a short leash. That extends beyond just one person. If Baher was successfully sued, the whole cast of The View would have to tread more carefully. For a collection of free wheeling loud mouths, that's going to be painful. We have already seen them acting sullenly when they were reigned in not so long ago. For a while, they were reading legal disclaimers almost every day and you could tell how angry they were about it. It was really funny.

The man accused of setting a woman on fire on a Chicago transit train this week has been charged with federal terrorism, according to a criminal complaint. Lawrence Reed, 50, was charged with one count of committing a terrorist attack or other violence against a mass transportation system Wednesday in the Northern District of Illinois. The incident unfolded just before 9:30 p.m. Monday on a CTA blue line train. Security video captured the moment a man whom authorities identified as Reed walked through the train car holding a bottle and approached the victim, a 26-year-old woman with her back toward him. He poured liquid over her head and tried to ignite it,

ABC News might soon find itself staring down another expensive defamation lawsuit from President Trump, and honestly, it wouldn't come as a shock. On a recent episode of The View, Joy Behar confidently claimed that it was "obvious" Trump was a pedophile connected with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, implicating him in Epstein’s crimes. This wild accusation came without a shred of evidence tying Trump to Epstein’s criminal activities. In fact, Trump is arguably one of the few prominent figures who did the right thing and severed ties with Epstein years ago, unlike many Democrats who have since been ensnared in the fallout. Despite the Democrats’ best efforts, the recent dump

Again, why isn’t this a bigger story? I promised to cover the trial details as they come out. The jury at the trial of Linda Sun, a former top aide to New York Govs. Kathy Hochul and Andrew Cuomo saw pictures and details of her lavish lifestyle, which she supposedly funded with money from China. Prosecutors have accused Sun of working as a Chinese agent in exchange for lots of money. Sun’s husband, Chris Hu, also faces charges. Sun only made $145,000. Despite that salary, Sun and Hu lived in a $3.6 million mansion in Long Island. That’s where the FBI investigated for five hours. FBI Special Agent Edward Tam told the jury

STARKE, Fla. — A man convicted of raping and fatally beating his former manager at a Florida convenience store in 1988 is scheduled to be executed Thursday evening. Richard Barry Randolph, 63, is set to receive a lethal injection starting at 6 p.m. at Florida State Prison near Starke. Randolph was convicted of murder, armed robbery, sexual battery and grand theft and sentenced to death in 1989. It would be Florida’s 17th death sentence carried out in 2025, further extending the state's record for total executions in a single year. According to court records, Randolph attempted to break into the safe at the Handy-Way convenience store in Palatka, where he had previously

The Democrats thought pushing for the release of Epstein information was going to hurt President Donald Trump. But not only is it not going as they planned, it's blowing back on them, as it's revealing a lot of Epstein connections to Democrats. Epstein was a big donor to Democrats, among them, Democrat Delegate Stacey Plaskett (VI), a non-voting member of the House. Epstein was also texting her in February 2019 during a Congressional hearing to help her against Trump. Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett (TX-30) came to Plaskett's defense on Wednesday on the House floor, arguing that Republicans had received donations from "somebody" by the name of Jeffrey Epstein.

At this point, Democrats are just embarrassing themselves badly over Jeffrey Epstein. Their efforts backfired spectacularly as the Epstein estate information revealed more Democrat connections to Epstein. It left them scrambling, trying to justify/defend Democrat Delegate Stacey Plaskett's texting with Jeffrey Epstein during a Congressional hearing. Plaskett is the non-voting delegate from the Virgin Islands, where Epstein had his infamous island. She received donations from Epstein up to 2018, long after the nature of Epstein was widely known. She claimed she gave the donations she got in 2016 and 2018 to women's groups. Then, Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett (TX-30) defended her, claiming Republicans had gotten donations as well from "somebody"

There's nothing hotter than a little blue-on-blue action, and things are getting steamy at Chicago's City Hall as Mayor Brandon Johnson and his allies go to war with other Democrats over the scraps of the Windy City's finances. We're in the endgame now. Jim Talamonti reported for Center Square on Tuesday that Johnson's allies "launched a seven-figure campaign" to support the mayor's budget because opponents argue that "the mayor’s tax plans will send the city into an economic death spiral and could bring about costly litigation." As of today, Chicago's political position is probably best described as paralysis. The city council's finance commission rejected Johnson's tax package on Monday,

There must have been a time in American history when six sitting lawmakers urging members of the military to defy the commander-in-chief would have been viewed as outright sedition — and those lawmakers would have quickly faced justice. In the age of Trump, however, those days are long gone. Touting their prior military and intelligence service, Democratic Sens. Elissa Slotkin (MI), who organized the video, Mark Kelly (AZ), and Reps. Chris Deluzio (PA), Maggie Goodlander (NH), Chrissy Houlahan (PA), and Jason Crow CO), launched a surreal video on Tuesday in which they called on troops to refuse to carry out what they consider to be President Donald Trump’s “illegal” orders.

The Democrats have a long history of being in bed with entertainment industry elites. I don't like to use the word "Hollywood" when writing about the lefties in showbiz, because there are a lot of conservatives working behind the cameras there. Most of the stars, as we are painfully aware, are enthusiastic socialists, mostly because they can afford to be. This relationship between the Dems and entertainers has given the latter the false impression that they know something about American politics. Some do, but even those who have some activist experience are still out of touch due to the aforementioned wealth.

He died on Nov. 3, at 84 years old, "due to complications from pneumonia and cardiac and vascular disease." Bush and Cheney's daughter, Liz, gave the eulogies. What got a lot of talk on social media about was who was there - and who wasn't. Starting with the "who wasn't," President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance were not invited. Cheney and his daughter were big critics of Trump, and they supported Kamala Harris in her 2024 presidential run.

Charlotte, N.C., is making headlines this week because dozens of construction sites have gone silent. ICE swept through the region, and the labor force evaporated almost instantly. A major American city discovered, in real time, that its building boom was being held together by workers who couldn’t legally be there. The Council on American-Islamic Relations’ (CAIR) Dallas-Fort Worth and Austin chapters filed a federal lawsuit Thursday seeking to overturn Abbott’s proclamation issued earlier in the week. "This attempt to punish the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization simply because Governor Abbott disagrees with its views is not only contrary to the United States Constitution, but finds no support in any Texas law," the group said in its lawsuit. Founded in 1994, CAIR operates 25 chapters nationwide,
