CNN, MSNBC Ratings Death Spiral Continues

Currently, both CNNLOL and MSNBC are in a ratings death spiral as their demoralized viewers tune out, exhausted by all the lies and false assurances that Trump was doomed. If the Russia Hoax didn’t get him, January 6 would. If the felony charges in New York didn’t get him, the felony charges in Georgia would. Joe Biden will beat him again! Kamala Harris and her Brat Summer have this thing sewn up! Look at that Iowa poll. It’s over. He’s done. The Bad Orange Man will never again be presi—wait, whuh? And now, at long last, the evil that is CNN and MSNBC is dead.

We've been hearing this for years and years. Are we finally to the point where something will change? I sure hope so.

I confess that I tune to CNN with the sound off so I can learn what is happening in the world by watching the scroll at the bottom of the screen. Fox New had the same scrolling but discontinued it for some reason. (I wish Fox would bring it back so I don't have to contribute to CNN viewship numberers.) Both channels give you news of a few seconds of an occurrence and follow it with ten or fifteen minutes of a panel of "experts" telling us what to think about what happened or what someone said. I wonder how successful a news. channel would be with just telling us what has happened like news used to be presented back in the "olden days."

It is clear that CNN and MSnotNOW are dying. They have not only lost their audience, they have lost the power to persuade. Also, with the culling of the Deep State, they have lost their "experts" to feed them narratives. Further, MSnotNOW has lost its connection to NBC, a supposed news network. Both CNN and MSnotNOW are shedding body parts like a zombie shuffling along and it's a joy to see. Will they completely die soon? Who cares? They have lost their power and value. As the article states, they lied to Liberals and NOW even the liberals don't trust them. They sit in their discussion circles and babble and no one really cares what they say. Now they just look stupid and desperate.

I think we have turned the corner on the MSM getting their own way. ABC is tired of being sued for slander. Funding for NPR and PBS is gone. CNN is now known as the Fake News Network. MSNBC is in tatters after all the layoffs.

All of those sanctimonious losers are now going to lose their overpaid positions, one by one. Kimmel will be joining them soon. Newsmax is the only network that is gaining ground becuse they have the smartest and most effective people.

Take out CNNs forced viewership at airports and hotels (where they seem to have a monopoly) and see what their ratings are.

The federal government partially shut down at midnight Wednesday, hours after all but three Senate Democrats voted down a short-term funding bill. The shutdown is the first since December 2018, which saw non-essential government operations cease and tens of thousands of federal employees furloughed or forced to work without pay for 35 days until lawmakers agreed on a stopgap funding measure. White House Office of Management and Budget Director Russ Vought notified federal department and agency heads shortly after Tuesday’s failed Senate vote to keep the government funded to begin preparations for a shutdown. Senate Democrats have voted down a Republican bill to keep funding the government, putting it on a near certain path to a shutdown after midnight Wednesday for the first time in almost seven years. After the vote, the White House’s Office of Management and Budget issued a memo saying that “affected agencies should now execute their plans for an orderly shutdown.” The Senate rejected the legislation as Democrats are making good on their threat to close the government if President Donald Trump and Republicans won’t accede to their health care demands.

As Breitbart News reported, ICE agents arrested Roberts last week as he had a final deportation order from a federal immigration judge that was issued in May 2024. When Roberts was arrested, agents found $3,000 in cash in his government-issued vehicle along with a fixed-blade hunting knife and a loaded handgun. The New York Times reported that Roberts, as Des Moines Public Schools superintendent since July 2023, had been earning a base salary of about $286,000 after he filed employment eligibility forms claiming to be an American citizen, providing a Social Security Number and a driver’s license.

Missouri’s Republican Gov. Mike Kehoe signed a new congressional map into law Sunday that could ultimately expand the GOP’s House majority, yet several legal challenges still loom. The new map is expected to result in Democratic Rep. Emanuel Cleaver losing his seat next November, according to The Beacon, a local news outlet. “I was proud to officially sign the Missouri First Map into law today ahead of the 2026 midterm election,” Kehoe said in a news release. “We believe this map best represents Missourians, and I appreciate the support and efforts of state legislators, our congressional delegation, and President Trump in getting this map to my desk,” he added.

New Jersey gubernatorial candidate Mikie Sherrill is facing fresh scrutiny following the revelation that her two children were accepted into the highly competitive Naval Academy — days after her campaign was rocked by news of her involvement in a notorious cheating scandal as a cadet. The Democratic congresswoman’s office announced in June that her two kids, Lincoln and Margaret Hedberg, were among nine students from her district to land spots in the Naval Academy, which has a slim admission rate of 9%. Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) and former interim Sen. George Helmy (D-NJ) each nominated one of the two children, The Post has learned.

Scott Jennings absolutely dominated a CNN panel discussion Saturday by reminding his fellow commentators of some inconvenient facts about how the justice system actually works and that it is wrong to claim that Trump ordered Comey's indictment. The discussion began after CNN played a clip of President Donald Trump criticizing the corrupt Democrats who weaponized the Justice Department for years. “It’s not a list, but I think there’ll be others,” Trump said in the clip. “I mean, they’re corrupt. These were corrupt, radical left Democrats. They’ll be others. Look, it was — that’s my opinion. They weaponized the Justice Department like nobody in history. What they’ve done is terrible.

The Republic of Ireland will offer families of supposed asylum seekers up to €10,000 to drop their claims and voluntarily leave the country, in an apparent admission that the government’s open borders policies have gone too far. Minister for Justice Jim O’Callaghan has signed an order to increase the voluntary return grant for alleged asylum seekers, increasing the payout to €2,500 ($2,900) for individuals or €10,000 ($11,700) for families who willingly drop their asylum claims and leave the country, The Irish Times reports. This is nearly double the previous payouts, which stood at €1,500 ($1,800) per person or €6,000 ($7,000) per family, prior to the order from Minister O’Callaghan.

But it has prompted an angry appeal by a U.S. lawmaker to Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker to scrap the plan.

Sherrill’s record was released after it was revealed the governor hopeful was forbidden from walking in commencement. AP “The illegal release of my military records — including my Social Security number — was no mistake,” Sherrill said on X earlier in the day Tuesday.
