The radical left’s late-night propaganda machine took a massive hit this week as Jimmy Kimmel’s show was yanked from the airwaves following his despicable lies about the assassination of conservative icon Charlie Kirk.
And now, in a delicious twist of poetic justice, ABC affiliates are set to replace the dirtbag comedian’s time slot with a heartfelt special tribute to Kirk himself.
On Wednesday, Nexstar announced that all 32 of its ABC broadcast affiliates will preempt “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” indefinitely, blasting Kimmel’s sick comments about Kirk’s murder as “offensive and insensitive.”

This is one of these incredibly challenging moments when we need to remember that Jesus Christ instructed us to pray for our enemies.

It does not seem he is actually fired yet. Fingers crossed that happens soon.

You are so right, poster #1! However, I'm not as thoughtful or considerate as you so. . .Enjoy Jimmy! You putz!

For the record, Kimmel's second set of comments were just as odious:
“This is not how an adult grieves the murder of someone he called a friend. This is how a 4-year-old mourns a goldfish. Okay?”
Kimmel thinks ridiculing someone's grieving process is a good opportunity to make a joke. He's a grotesque person.

Kimmel essentially compared Charlie's death to a goldfish dying.

#2, Last I heard Kimmel had been suspended until further notice, and I guess he's still on the payroll. I don't know about the employees that supported his show.

I'll take the suspension for now, because his bosses demand he not only apologize to the Kirk family, but that he makes personal donations both to the Kirk family and Turning Point, USA. And as another slap in his already fuming face, his bosses will be airing a tribute to Charlie Kirk Friday night during Kimmel's time slot. I mean, how good is all of that?

Kimmel is such a huge hypocrite.
I remember his boundless glee when Tucker was bounced from Fox. No tears for the 1st Amendment by golly. Other examples abound.
Anyway, as far as praying for enemies: Yes, indeed. For their soul and redemption.
But Jesus didn't advocate abolition of "carceral justice." He'd likely say fix your mind on heavenly things, not earthly affairs. Forgiveness is a tricky notion and we confuse it with pardoning.

Someone in Media has finally seen the writing on the wall... Recognizing the animosity that Greater America has against the "Big Three" is decades too late, but welcome anyway. There may actually be some accountability and return to balance in Broadcasting...We can only hope. True words: "They have no idea what they've unleashed." Thank you Erika!

When they decisively cancel him and he ceases to be on payroll, I will believe it. Right now every indication is that they are simply waiting for the coast to clear.

Perhaps Kimmel should be required to get some education on what ‘free speech’ actually means. If he wants to stand on a street corner yelling out lies he can do that. If he wants to lie on national TV, break FCC rules, embarrass his employers, and get dropped by station owner groups, not so much. There are consequences and he’s paying them. End of story.

I think ABC will make it clear to Kimmel that they intend to fire him, so perhaps he should consider resigning.
My guess is that he will choose the latter and fully expect one of the other networks to hire him at even more money, which will not happen.

until jimmy is officially "fired", his lawyers are unable to try to get him severance pay for the remainder of his contract, AND he is unable to legally do any other work since he still "works" for ABC? It would b sweet if ABC looked at the numbers and found out it was cheaper just to hold him in his current status till either the contract runs out or they figure out how to terminate him for just cause and not have to pay him anything. Meanwhile he just kind of has to hang out ,hopefully, in an office with no windows and a phone that doesn't ring for a couple years

Christians are allowed their righteous anger. Jesus got angry when God was mocked. WE are angry that God is mocked thru Charlie's assassination. The time for this Christian to "forgive" the shooter is not now. Some people can't read the room.

Let's do a Charlie response here poster #1...forgive our enemies?...I guess poster #1... you are a better person than I....I'm still raw watching Charlie's comments....it's not important if I can feel forgiveness ...at this time...it's to fresh....it'd hard to imagine what is the right path...I grieve for his wife and his children who must deal with this every day...the rest of their lives....

I look at all of the assassinations that have occurred in America and everyone of them makes me sad. That included Martin Luther King Jr. Free speech does not include violence and murder and that includes every aspect of it. That includes celebrations of a person's demise.
The celebrations are DISGUSTING. . .
