Texas governor Greg Abbott has announced a ban on Sharia Law in the state after an imam launched a campaign to pressure Muslim-owned stores to stop selling pork, alcohol and lottery tickets. Imam F. Qasim ibn Ali Khan of Masjid At-Tawhid was seen in a viral video confronting a store employee and accusing the business of selling 'haram' products forbidden under Islamic law. As a response, Abbott said on Tuesday: 'I signed laws that BAN Sharia Law and Sharia Compounds in Texas. No business and no individual should fear fools like this.'

Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, sparked backlash on social media Monday after a video surfaced of her saying that local law enforcement’s role is only to solve crime, not prevent it. A clip from Crockett’s appearance on the "Grounded" podcast — which premiered last Wednesday — went viral as critics seized on her remarks.
"I want to be clear that, like, law enforcement isn't to prevent crime. Law enforcement solves crime, OK? That is what they are supposed to do. They are supposed to solve crimes, not necessarily prevent them from happening per se," she said.

The War of the Murdochs appears to have come to an end.
The media sector’s prominent Murdoch family settled a long-running dispute Monday that will leave Lachlan Murdoch in control of voting shares that govern both News Corp. and Fox Corp. while selling off stakes in the company attached to founder Rupert Murdoch’s other children who had challenged their father’s ability to restructure his heirs’ oversight of both corporations. Fox Corp. and News Corp. both said Monday that the family had terminated all litigation tied to the elder Murdoch’s efforts to assign control of the family’s shares to Lachlan, who currently oversees both corporations.

Somebody did something very naughty, and I need to know who did it.
I'm very serious here. If I don't get an answer, nobody gets anything to eat before dinner. Except for some light snacks around three. And cocktails at five, of course — I'm not a monster.
So I just read this morning that some terrible — but perhaps terribly clever — person did a small drone strike on the lead boat of toxic pixie and part-time female He-Man impersonator Greta Thunberg's Happy Fun Hamas Terrorist Relief Flotilla.
Or did they?
According to the flotilla, one of their vessels "was struck by a drone in Tunisian waters," and that an

“The FBI has been investigating the Charlotte train murder from day one,” Patel wrote in a post on X. “Stay tuned.”
Patel’s post comes after Iryna Zarutska, 23, was allegedly stabbed in the throat several times on August 22, 2025, by suspect Decarlos Brown Jr. while riding the Charlotte light rail.
Breitbart News reported that Brown was arrested and charged with first-degree murder regarding the attack on Zarutska.

The death of 59-year-old white female retired Auburn University professor Julie Gard Schnuelle, allegedly at the hands of a 28-year-old Montgomery black male, Harold Dabney III, is among several stories nationwide getting attention for the lack of coverage by major, corporate news outlets.
Dabney is charged with two counts of capital murder: one count for committing the murder during a robbery and one count for committing the murder during a kidnapping, in the death of Schnuelle.

France’s government was toppled in a vote of no confidence on Monday, forcing President Emmanuel Macron to search for his fourth prime minister in 12 months — and throwing the EU’s second largest economy into chaos.
Premier François Bayrou was ousted overwhelmingly in a 364-194 vote against him, losing an apparent gamble that lawmakers would back his push for France to slash public spending to repay its debts.
The 74-year-old centrist was instead voted out, ending his short-lived minority government after being appointed by Macron in December. France, which has the European Union’s most powerful military and only nuclear arsenal,

After a shift at Zepeddie's Pizzeria in Charlotte, North Carolina, Iryna Zarutska boarded the train and quickly made a decision where to sit. Did she think about her safety? Did she fear sitting in front of a Black man with dreadlocks and a face twisted into worried knots? Or did she find a seat far away from him, just on a hunch?
The truth is that Iryna had no real choice. If she avoided the seat in front of the Black man, she might look like a racist. She had no reason to fear him, after all, because she was sympathetic to the plight of racism in America and even had

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has become the rare figure who draws as much raw hostility from Democrats as Donald Trump ever has. That fact alone is remarkable.
Democrats once celebrated Kennedy as the scion of a legendary political dynasty. They now treat him as a menace to society. His break from the blue ranks last year, and the populist movement he has built, mirrors Trump’s earlier rebellion against establishment Republicans. That similarity explains why both men are uniquely loathed by Democratic insiders.
The fury stems not just from Kennedy’s decision to leave the Democrat party, but from how he left.

At a Home Depot parking lot, a man patrols on a bicycle for federal immigration agents, toting a megaphone on his hip so he can blast a warning to day laborers waiting to land a landscaping or construction job.
The workers from Mexico, El Salvador and elsewhere carry whistles to also sound the alarm, while activists swap details over two-way radios about whether cars whizzing by could be unmarked vehicles carrying officers preparing for a raid.
Their work is cut out for them. Agents have raided the lot outside the 108,000 square-foot Home Depot store in the Van Nuys neighborhood of Los Angeles at least five times this summer,

A very BRAVE Governor Whitmer-Appointed Judge just dismissed the case against all 15 Michigan Alternate GOP ElectorsIn a major gut-punch to Michigan’s Democrat activist Attorney General Dana Nessel, Governor Whitmer-appointed Judge Kristin Simmins has ignored party allegiance and decided to put an end to the lawfare against 15 innocent Republican electors from the 2020 election, who cast an alternate slate of electoral votes for President Trump in a state where the stunning election results were highly contested by many.
